Junk King was highly recommended by my brother, who has used them many times.
The guys showed up on time. They were very friendly and personable. I wish I wrote their names down, as I am so terrible with names. I showed them everything that I wanted removed. I also asked about removing additional items. No problem. They were quick and super efficient. They made sure to have me do a walk-through after all the items were removed to verify that everything was complete.
I highly recommend them. Five+ stars!!
I had my first experience with Junk King today, and it was excellent. Josh and Wendell were incredible—professional, efficient, and careful with every step of the move. They walked me through the plan, executed it flawlessly, and had everything out in no time. I highly recommend them. Truly an outstanding team.
We shopped around, and Junk King was the best option. The cost per truck is $778 with no labor cost. Please keep in mind that the trucks do not meet the federal and state requirements for mesh tarps to prevent debris and junk from flying out during transport.(looks like the tarps have been removed)
For example, if you are only moving large items, there should be no problem. However, if you have loose junk or trash bags, I would recommend going with a different company because they cannot fill the trucks to capacity without tarps to cover the tops.
Wait time: They only had two trucks, and it took roughly an hour and a half for the junk drop-off to happen and for the trucks to return. Once the manager informed us that he legally could not fully load the trucks due to the risk of debris blowing out. He literally refused to fill the trucks even after we brought it to his attention that there was still significant space for additional loading. We canceled the job. In conclusion, a total of four trucks were used, none were filled to capacity, the total cost was $3,200, and I would not recommend this company.
Jack and his crew were amazing to work with. They were extremely flexible on timing and were able to work us onto their route fairly quickly, at a very fair price. super quick pick up, easy fast and hassle free. highly recommend!!
Junk King really does have a great thing going. They are efficient, cost effective, timely and the workers are hard workers. Collin came out and went above and beyond to help us out.
On time, professional and efficient. Team carefully removed a full truckload of furniture and goods always asking if they could do anything more. Great service that I highly recommend.

Junk King is fantastic! The delivery and pick up was on time, they were extremely responsive and I appreciated the text confirmations/communications. I would highly recommend them and will be ordering another dumpster from them again soon.

1 word: AMAZING!!!! These guys are absolute rock stars. I left an online request, had a call within 30 seconds and an estimate they would arrive in 35 minutes. They came early!! Removed a king mattress, two box springs and frame. They were done with the job in less than 10 minutes. Respectful of my home and shining attitudes. This is a great company and worth every cent. A little more cost than I hoped but I would pay for their service 11/10. Highly recommend and will use again in the future! Since this post I have been a repeat customer and just as satisfied.
They were fast, efficient, kept me informed of ETA, and got rid of an old jacuzzi spa that hadn't moved in 30 years and a big couch from the basement that I still don't know how they got out in one piece! These guys were great. The crew came in and cleared out 3 trucks worth of stuff in underc3 hours (including stairs!). They were fast, friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend!

They provide the best customer experience one could ever imagine, price included.
First, their personal walk through the house and/or outdoors and provide you with a price for their services (and you will be thrilled); the price doesn’t change throughout (not like other the other top company I’ve used before and you probably know exactly which company I am referring too.)
They are extremely careful not to affect any of your property. Their team is extremely knowledgeable and respectful. Not only that. When you call, they provide their services exactly when you need them.

I called several places and felt like I was getting the run-around for an old upright piano pick-up. Junk King made it easy. They were friendly and professional. They even called twice to confirm their arrival time. Fair price…30 minutes and the job was done!
We couldn’t have been happier with the service! Connor and Nick from Junk Kings in Barrington got rid of two trucks of junk in record time! They were efficient, organized and polite! If you want a seamless and pleasant experience call them next time you need a haul away.
Initial contact through Yelp and they responded within 5 mins. Super helpful and informative, they came out straight away and gave us an estimate. We set a date/time that was best for us and they were very accommodating with our wishes.
Conner & Nick showed up exactly when they said they would. Stepped out of the cab with gloves on and ready to work. Man, these guys busted their butts, and we were truly blessed to have them as our 'Junk Kings' for the day. There was more to the job than the original estimate, in fact an entire full truck more. They were able to modify the contract on site and provide the extra service with no issues.

Super, super nice people who are on top of their game even asking to stop by sooner. It all worked out seamlessly and effortlessly. I had a living room set and a large bed with other odds and ends and they took the lot enthusiastically. And priced just right, very reasonable!
