First visit last Saturday to get some of the reclaimed fencing for my yard. Love! All of the employees I interacted with were very nice- but I want to specifically acknowledge Ramon and Jacob. So patient, kind, knowledgeable, helpful, just everything you don't know you need until you're lucky enough to receive it. Ramon was fabulous with that forklift and really took the time to make sure I was happy. I can't say enough good things, and I'll be going back when it's time for my next home project!! There is SO MUCH COOL STUFF in here! I love that they keep materials OUT of a landfill following a building demolition, for example the Crystal Lake bowling alley. The staff is kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I have absolutely loved any time I've spent there, and have bought hooks and other cool old things for the house, plus they now have vendors selling cool vintage lamps, mantles, art, and all kinds of stuff. I never fail to leave with some "new" treasure!
I was building a one room addition to my home and wanted a fireplace. My project manager recommended that I go to All American Reclaim to find a wood beam mantle. I was amazed at the selection they had. The staff were so knowledgeable and friendly. I had them pairing very heavy beams with potential posts and they happily complied. Then I saw it! A truly artistic statement! Thank you All American Reclaim for making my room great! Here it is!
Woah!! What a wonderful space!! The smell alone is worth a visit!! It’s so tidy and highly organized. I purchased some door knob rosettes for fraction of the price that I’ve seen them anywhere else. It’s not just reclaimed pieces, but there’s vendors too! I could’ve spent hours in there. Can’t wait to come back!
Just wanted to say thanks to Paul at All American Reclaim. If your looking for large format lumber that is not available anywhere, they have it here. Live edge, wood beams, plank and also have all species of old lumber. Love to see them saving these boards and making it available to people who need the wood for projects. We will be back!!!

I had some questions regarding to a coffee table I’m working on and they gave me well pointers, product suggestions to buy for my project (not from them) and even suggesting to visit other businesses around for my project needs.
Andy did not once try to sell me on anything their store cannot offer which can be a great tell tale sign of a great respectable and honest local business who tries to support one and other.
I’m grateful for the conversation as it gave me insight of how they run their business. I’ll definitely look forward to a day when I’ll work with them!

If you're always looking for some wood for any type of projects this could be your place. They have all kinds older wood from buildings taken down. These are good for projects even for a little home decor
Cool shop, helpful staff lots of treasures and lots of already created merchandise. Gives you materials and sparks creativity. Will recommend and return.
Came here looking for a mantle. Pat showed us around, explained sizes and finishes to us. Let us look around and once we found one we thought was perfect for our home, he answered our questions, had the wood cut to size, checked us out, and loaded it up into our car for us. The different types of wood and decor they have here are vintage and beautiful. Service here was exceptional. We will definitely be back for our future needs.
For an 8x8 oak beam I got quoted $66.00 a linear ft. Exactly who can do business here? Try the market place if you need wood. I found beams at $10.00 a ft.
Thanks for the reply, $750.00 for one 11' beam is robbery. Even at $25.00 a ft is a foolish price. Please don't think I don't know the work involved in taking down these golden beams you're selling. Best of luck
I have looked all over for shelving in the Master Bath that would complement the wood surfaces/stains already in the house & could not find anything until my visit to All American Reclaimed. They have an amazing selection of all types of reclaimed wood and Paul was so very helpful in listening to what I have envisioned and recommended options that fit both the decor and function. He helped us find the perfect wood piece! Cant wait to see the finished product. 5 Stars for wood selection and customer service.
I’m updating my review after a second trip to All American Reclaim. I was shopping for a live edge cookie for a coffee table. Paul F. took thirty minutes to help me find the perfect slab and answered all my questions. They have a good selection of slabs and an impressive warehouse full of barn wood. I would recommend All American Reclaim for anyone in the area looking for barn wood or slabs and superior service. I’ll be coming back in the future!

Visited in 2016 searching for a piece to make my mantle. Found it and it turned out awesome. Just sold my home and heading back next week to find my next mantle piece. I think they moved from Antioch to here - excited to get the project started!
Stopped in to pick up a couple timbers for mantels. Was greeted by a kind gentleman who helped us pick out and cut some beautiful pieces from an old barn in Galena. Threw some threaded rods in the wall, drilled the timber, slid it on, very happy with the result.
I wanted 4 old typeset trays. Most places had only 1 and many were over priced. All American Reclaim was able to provide 4 at a reasonable price. As I dont live near, they went out of their way to carefully package and ship them at a reasonable price.
Their communication and service was outstanding. I highly recommend their establishment.
Wow what a place. They have all sorts of reclaimed wood in all shapes, sizes and species. Old tools, doors, windows, etc.
Everything reclaimed and ready to be refurbished.
Discovered this place on Facebook and looked super unique. Drove a little over an hour with a few family members to get here. It's a cool place with tons of wood for any and all projects. Prices were fairly high... but again we are in times where all wood is in high demand and rather pricey.
I did like the mix of old tools and vintage type stuff, but nothing interested me enough to buy. I love old rustic and vintage type things so it'd be neat to see the set up outside of the Christmas season. I originally rated this 3/5 and docked down for customer service and then started to think that maybe my expectations were too high going in? I pictured people welcoming us and asking if we had any projects in mind, if we had been there before or where familiar with the lay out, or if they could help point us in the right direction. Anyway I changed it because I felt docking it down 2 stars was a little harsh based on my expectation vs the actual experience.
I found it a bit odd that we had no one around to help out until half way through our shopping experience. Even then the employee just stood up at the front counter.
I have worked retail for 16 years and was hoping for more enthusiasm or a unique feel toward this place considering the concept is totally rad. Again, might be cool to train staff to want to see what brings people into the store. Workers were in the far back area hanging out in the office, which I discovered when I went back to use the bathroom. A lady asked me if I worked there since she saw no employees anywhere lol. Just relates back to customer service and what people are looking for or expecting when walking in.
If you are looking to work on a project and have set ideas, then this may be your placen or might help inspire you. Hopefully this was just an off day since it was a Monday and nobody is a fan of working Mondays :)

We drove and hour and a half to come here. It was well worth it!! We bought a hand hewn beam for our fire place mantle and a slap of wood for a desk. They had an outstanding selection of antique and reclaimed items from barns and other items. Paul was an absolute gentleman! So patient, knowledgeable & we arrived an hour before close and he made us feel so free to take our time.. I highly recommend this business and it’s perfect for the designer or anyone looking for those special items to bring out that AUTHENTIC farm house feel.
If your looking for a place to inspire your creativity this is the place! If your not crafty no problem, they have incredible builders to help make your vision a reality!
Not just reclaimed lumber, they have tons reclaimed treasures such as whiskey and wine barrels, stable doors, cabinet hardware, crates, doors, windows,ans, tools, and so much more!
The prices are very reasonable and as an added bonus knowing you bought something with some history behind it is priceless!
The staff is top shelf and the owner is so always willing to chat and a true professional! The owner seems to know the history about almost every piece. Check it out, you will not be disappointed!
I couldn't be happier with my experience with All American Reclaim. I had a fall project of redoing my fireplace and the centerpiece of any fireplace is of course is the mantel. I went in pretty green to what to expect or look for and the team was amazing form the star. From looking and selecting the right wooden beam to the craftsmanship in cutting and brushing it to the amazing final piece was beyond my expectations. This beam was an extremely important piece to our fireplace overhaul and my family could be prouder of it!

Just found out about this place tonight. Immediately went over there and were nothing but blown away. The smell is amazing. The vast array of available product is even more amazing.
Can't wait to replace our Mantle with a piece from them and have it custom clear finished and a few other things done. This is going to be a regular trip for me now that I know it's there. I could probably spend an entire day walking around looking at all the great stuff to use to make things out of.
Let me wrap this up by saying that the folks complaining that the prices are too high, are just simply individuals that have an absurdly unrealistic expectation of what it is that they should pay for a product of this nature. Any lumber yard can sell you run of the mill wood for cheap, but that's not why you come to a place like this. You come here because each and every piece has a history, has character, and has a story. You can't just get that anywhere. I priced them out for what it was I wanted to be done and they were actually extremely fair priced. Especially given how trendy the product is in today's market.
