Had a break down in their parking lot on a Friday night. They do not have a mechanic and they did not know if they would have a weekend mechanic available. I called back asking if they knew what time the mechanic normally starts and a guy in a deep voice told me he had no clue as he doesn’t work that shift. I responded that’s not very helpful and explained my issue and the guy just hung up on me. I didn’t even swear or yell at all.
My driver came in for a tire change due to a blowout. He was told that they couldn’t fix the tire because he drives a hotshot dually. Hotshot drivers are just as important as semi tractor trailer drivers and need the same support. They frequent Loves just like other drivers. It’s horrible that they can’t accommodate them. He even had a spare tire, he just needed it put on. This policy needs to change.
I cannot tell you how many Love's I've been to across the US... this one takes the cake!! Incredibly friendly staff even with the GM and AGM watching over them! Willing to joke and chat WHILE working their tails off! It didn't matter who I talked to; in the shop, in the diesel side, in the auto side, in the restaurant; everyone was friendly, helpful, kind, willing to joke and play (as long as they were also doing their jobs lol)!!
I don't do this often but I called their customer service line and left a glowing review as well! Just great staff and amazing people. I guess, my biggest take away is this: It's amazing what a good company can accomplish when they're fully staffed.

Good amount of truck parking, found parking in the evening time on a Friday. No problem. Showers are nice and clean. Water flow was great. Temperature was good and get as hot as you want. Store seemed to be pretty clean, was welcomed upon and tree as expected at Love's. All the fuel aisles work. Good location outside of Chicago. Would stop here again
Pulled in here during the day. Tons of spots — parking was wide open, like a screaming empty register at McDonald’s. Inside looked okay… let’s call it a solid 3 out of 5, which honestly isn’t bad. This Love’s ain’t the freshest, but far from some abandoned dump — looks pretty decent actually.
Only thing? There’s that certain vibe… you know, that tone from a couple of cashiers like they’re not exactly happy you’re here. Especially when you ask about a shower. Never in my life have I been told a price with that kind of attitude — like I owed him personally.
Truckers truckers truckers,,, stay away from this place they are nasty people rookies no good mechanics and then they will claim you later on is OK but still they gonna call thepolice for no reason
A large coffee (not a refill) is a wopping $3.00 gona make my own coffee in the truck. Thank you truck driver for all you spend. I remember when you got a cup free with fuel
I went over to the travel gear section and saw two different types of cleaning wipes on sale from the original $6.99 price to $2.99. I went to the register and asked to fill up $40 in gas and to purchase the cleaning wipes. Then I found out at the register that the price is $6.99 and so I told the cashier about the sale price. She could see the $2.99 tag from behind the counter because they were in front of her. She called the manager to override the price and the manager came and took the tag out and said it wasn’t supposed to be there. And I told her the tag was there and that the sale price was $2.99 and asked if she would honor the price. She said she’ll honor it if I’m more polite. Then I told her, what is she talking about, and that I was just explaining that there was a sale price. She then said that I’m being rude and she won’t honor it. I then told her that she was the one that was being rude. The cashier then asked me if I still wanted to fill up my gas and I told her no. I also told my wife and kids to leave everything they were going to purchase because I felt that the manger was being racist.
I take 57 from Champaign to Chicago every other week and stop at this gas station every time since it has opened. I will never go back to this gas station again. This was a horrible experience and very bad customer service.
To the worker cleaning up the pumps this morning 1/24/25 who walked infront of my car than proceeded to shake his finger at me like I was in the wrong, maybe go to bed earlier so your not as grumpy in the morning, thanks
We came in this morning and the gentleman and lady that were working… made our morning! It’s nice when you’re in met with some great energy! And…. The bathrooms and store were clean and bright as their smiles!!!
Had a great experience here The ladies behind the counter were extremely nice and very helpful The shells were stocked with all products completely it was a very clean and neat location I highly recommend this travel stop

All trucker be aware of this location incompetent mechanics
Came here for an oil change they cut my air hose for no reason and told me they are doing this all the time
Can explain me what for is cutting air hose when doing simple oil change

After oil change told them the fitting has air leak and answer was fantastic
I tide all the way and cannot do anything else get out from my bay
The door was stock too and other guy came and broke my door
Called Manager and finally got the answer the,Issue is that my truck
Really , they cut my hose and I’m the one who has issues
Why are they still here I don’t understand
I took everything in my hands and worked perfectly fine,no air leaks.
And have to buy new plastic pins for door to fix it.
Finally got home after 4 hours in bay for an issue that was their fall and cut hose for no reasons…

This Love's isreally really amazing ( not all loves are the same, to be certain).
The people here really are amazing and engaging and excellent listeners and keep the place in Tip-Top shape 24/7.
The showers are clean, the bathrooms are clean, the parking lot is clean, and the staff are just positively bubbly and effervescent!
Highly recommended if you're in the area or if you're waiting to deliver in chicago.
The cashiers are really nice and the Operations Manager Magenta Jager is a sweet young lady. She helped me find a few things that I just couldn't find on my own. She didn't make me fel like an idiot!
She also told me that loves has good sweet tea. And she was right. Hope all the Loves has great employees like her!
Having driven tractor-trailer over-the-road for 25 years, I have hundreds, and probably closer to a thousand truck stops to compare to. Even though I no longer drive a truck for a living, old habits die hard, so I still primarily patronize truck stops for gas and food purchases when traveling in my personal vehicle. This Love's was as good as any and better than most I've been in. It was clean and fully stocked and the staff were all friendly and helpful, and that's all you can ask for when stopping for gas and munchies.
Probably the worst Loves I've ever stopped at. Everyone is unprofessional looking and acting. The guy with the pink hair must think he is a gangster with the way he talks and acts. Shower #1 was disgusting, probably been more sanitary to take a shower in the fuel island. The shower was also inoperable for the hot and cold water selection. I brought this to the managements attention, but obviously they didn't care as I heard that shower be announced as I left from eating Arby's. The parking is bigger for a Loves, I didn't visit the bathroom. If it's anything like the shower, one would have to get an AIDS test afterwards. It didn't used to be like this either. This once was a nice place to stop, I dont blame loves, I put the blame on piss poor management. However I will avoid this location like the plague from here on out, and let others know the same.
Stop here often and I am always greeted with kindness and made to feel welcome. It's always clean and well stocked. Showers are pretty small however. I'm not an overly large guy and I found it difficult to shower without banging the wall or shower control and forget getting under the shower head if you're over 5' tall.
This place is usually a nice place to stop but it’s gotten horrible especially the trash cans outside overflowing. People get paid to do a job if you don’t do the job you shouldn’t have one.
The employees at this love's are among some of the laziest I've seen. They're even too lazy to replace the windshield washing water for the trucks or even take out their own trash. Someone should be ashamed to own this place!
1 * because the people were very nice. It should not take 5 hours to plug a tire when there are only two other trucks in front of you getting also a flat fixed. After waiting 3 hours for them to fix 2 flats on other trucks it took them two hours to fix my flat. You can't make drivers wait that long we have places to go and time schedules unbelievable. This place is a joke I will never return again. Can't even maintain the tires on their service trucks correctly.
Open 24 hours and so is the Arby's attached. Success! Lol. Drove five states today, exhausted and it's so nice to find an Arby's that's 24 hours!! Bonus, I can get gluten-free food there. Turkey and Swiss sandwich (no bread) make sure to put on new gloves, to grab from the bottom of the pile, and we're good to go! Clean restroom, 24-hour gas station, PLUS Arby's. I am a happy lady!

This is my second time here getting tires first time it was during the winter. It's pretty hot now... It feels like a hundred degrees... These guys went out of their way and gave me a bunch of love..... Lol...gave me a phone charger so I can charge my phone well I wait, gave me a fan , bought me a soda, and gave me a bar stool.... talk about customer service..... A+ rating. These guys are really friendly and make you feel no pain as they take the $700 for two brand new tires.... Lol.... If you want to save money get into a different bussiness.... very satisfied.....
