Went in for something I called Deer Horn's and the lady at the counter was really nice and helpful, and she laughed and corrected me, they are now called Deer Alerts. She took me right to them and said she never drives without them on her car. She had the best smile and was so courteous. Their price was also good .
Went to the Kankakee store yesterday just before 4pm. The only customer was leaving as I walked in. I asked for a battery check, I just was released from the hospital and the car kept needing jumped and I wasn't up to the task of a battery change out. I opened the hood he made a modest attempt to check the battery and told me he couldn't test the battery due to location. It was the original battery so I him him to replace it. I was told no and he gave addresses of competitors to go get a battery's from. I had good experiences prior to this, I will not support O'Reilly anymore.
John at this location is horrid. He apparently finds his customers automotive difficulties very amusing. I guess that he isn’t aware that O’Reilly’s isn’t the only automotive place in town. This guy is definitely going to cost them business. He certainly did today.
Jeremiah very rude and disrespectful. Michael very undertrained. Seth needs a raise he should be manager if he isn’t already. Motorcycle guy (forgot name) also cool.
Good prices and every fluid, accessory, bulb & cleaner you would imagine ever needing. Expertise and product knowledge varies from one employee to the next.
Big guy did not even get up from the chair. Did not want to help out at all. Pretend not to know what I was talking about. I will not come back at all. Manager should do a review on this employee.
Neither Clerk wore masks. And one was constantly talking about how nobody in the store had to wear a mask. Personally I'd rather take my business to another O'Reilly's that's more concerned with the health of the public.
I bought motor oil there and didn't realize it had a broken seal. Try to return without a receipt and manager told me if it was open when I bought it I shouldn't had bought it.
