When you 1st Enter the yard u Must weigh in on company scale. Thereafter instructions will be spoken to you from outside intercom speaker They have inside docks which can usually be Dark to back into. They put up some helpful (blue)light strips to help you line trailer up. After Unloading u must report back to the same scale to give a Empty weight. Scale person will instruct u to pull off/park, come inside to get paperwork. The yard is kinda small for maneuvers and backing. Experienced drivers wont have a problem. Time spent here was only about 1hr with 53footer. All staff was Poliet and respectful

They get a lot of engine and transmission for many many cars and they have a great deals to choose from an options. I do highly recommend them and definitely five stars..
Has to be the slowest core buying company out there. You come in drop you engines, transmissions off. Then you sit for a hour until they pay you. If you have places to be don’t plan on going here before hand.
(Review edited) Company was willing to make things right when there was a miscommunication problem. My recommendation is that if you want anything better than a core that requires machining (bored out) get pictures and in email what they plan to send.
I was super excited the salesman Chris Snow said he could sell me a good usable core with crosshatching still in the cylinders, and a good crank/cam and lifters for 1700 shipped (I expected to replace rings, bearings and lifters). The first pic is what I received the if I would have paid $4-600 and he would have said your getting a block that needs machined/bigger pistons and a cam/lifters I would have expected what I got.
Truck entrance is on festival drive. If you're good at your backing, then backing into the dock should not be a problem for you. You must get on the scale once you arrive and after you pick-up/deliver your load.
Nice people but the delivery area is challenging to maneuver. Very tight. Truck entrance is on the side street from main gate. Must scale upon entry. Truck stop less than 2 miles away.
SELLER BEWARE, AFTER WE SENT OUR SHIPMENT AND WAITED CLOSE TO 2 MONTHS FOR PAYMENT THEY ONLY PAID FOR 30% OF THE ORIGINAL INVOICE. MY BOSS JAMES WROTE A REVIEW AND WE GOT A CALL THE NEXT DAY. ONLY IF THEY WERE JUST AS QUICK ON CUSTOMER SERVICE AS THEY WERE WHEN THEY GOT A BAD REVIEW. THE ENTIRE CONVERSATION WAS OF HOW WORRIED THEY WERE TO GET A NEGATIVE REVIEW BUT NEVER ON MAKING THE MATTER RIGHT! WE NEVER GOT A CALL SAYING THAT PARTS WERE DAMAGED OR THE CHANCE TO GET THEM SHIPPED BACK. THEY STATED IT HAD BEEN TO LONG TO GET THEM BACK, LIKE IF WE HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH THEM TAKING CLOSE TO 2 MONTHS FOR THE PROCESS. VERY BAD BUSINESS HERE.
Been dealing with KB for just about a year now, we sell trailer loads, monthly to them. Hands down couldn’t ask for any better service with them!! Their motor and trans core prices are extremely competitive, if not the best in the country!!!! I would recommend this company to everyone and anyone!!
Absolute rip offs! Sent in 3 cores totaling $1100 and received a check for $350. Transmission had notes that converter needed to be included so we sent it in. Engine had no notes on it, but still sent it complete and they said engine was locked and missing parts. We pulled the engine ourselves off the truck because it was smoking and they claimed it was locked. Sellers beware do not do business here. I will never use kb cores again!!!
The solinoids that I purchased were exact fit however that wasn't the problem. But I appreciate the quick delivery. I will definitely come back if I need more parts.
