Customer care is priority with this company. I had an urgent situation where I lost my receipt from 2 years ago and needed a copy. I called after hours intending to leave a voicemail and the owner answered. He said he does not like to miss his customers calls. I explained my situation and he gave me the name who would contact me assured me they would go above and beyond to help me. Super easy to deal with, we put the used engines on pallets and strapped them down, they sent a freight carrier to our location, we loaded them and off they went. They arrived at River Valley 2 days later, we had our payment on day 3! It’s not a scam, it’s 100% legitimate. I will be using them in the future!

Cannot say enough great things about the folks at River Valley Truck Parts! Sharon, in particular, helped me find a part that they didn’t have from another company to help get my truck back on the road. The part was in another country but the fact that we found one was all that matters in this age of “nationwide back orders”. Sharon even called me later to check to see if I was able to purchase the part, (affirmative). She is an asset to River Valley Truck and should never be taken for granted and should be given a big raise! The next part I need, she will be my first call, guaranteed! Called regarding an ECU computer for a brake system on a bus and spoke with Scott. After I had been searching for this particular component for a while, I was fortunate that River Valley Truck parts had it and relatively inexpensively as well.
After procuring the part, and the mounting hardware to put it in, it worked on the bus without incident. I am thankful to both Scott and River Valley Truck Parts for having the parts I needed and will be doing business with them again for parts procurement on a budget. (And from where I am, it’s well worth the drive to get there.)
If you’re looking for medium or heavy duty truck parts for your particular application (whatever it may be), I highly recommend contacting them for parts on a budget. (Wish there were more stars to give, but I know word of mouth and good reviews go a long way).
Bought a maxforce 7 engine for $16,850 about 6 months ago from Kyle. We had some electrical issues with our International and offered me $1,000 to purchase it back fully functional. You'd think there would be plenty of meat on the bone to both make some money back on each side. Kyle brushed me off atleast 3-4 times and seemed to busy multiple times.

Very easy to work with. Mr. Bruno at River Valley Truck Parts was very patient and willing to work with me even though I was hundreds of miles away. I had a truck in Watseka IL I previously bought and didn't have time for. Weather interfered and Mr. Bruno kept constant communication throughout the whole thing. It saved me money, hundreds of miles driving, and a ton of time. River Valley Truck Parts is the place to go if you have an annoying vehicle taking up space, time, and money. I looked for five weeks for a timing cover for a 1994 International 4900 and found one on the River Valley web page one evening. I received a text the next morning around 9:00 AM about my inquiry. After determining it was exactly what I needed, I was walked through the payment procedure with full confidence in there security checks and was finished in about half an hour. I received my part two days later, perfectly packaged, and I'm halfway across the country. They saved me about $1200 and am absolutely thrilled with the helpfulness and interest the showed in getting my dump truck back to working. I highly recommend doing business with River Valley. They will be the first place i check for anything I need from now on.
These people are incredible! We have been searching for a hard to find part for months. Sharon was ultimately not able to find it either but spent hours trying multiple sources. She tracked down some information that may help us get what we need. This is actually our second encounter with River Valley. We sold a truck to them a few years ago for them to part out. In that case as well, they bent over backward to make the process as smooth as possible for us.

Like anything that pops up on Facebook I was extremely Leary of buying a part over the internet…. I was mutually texting a woman named Sharon and she went above and beyond to assure me my bell housing would be a match and was in working condition I also explained to her I’m kinda in a situation I could of went to a local yard and put eyes on another house that was cheaper but I would have to remove it…. This company matched my price and guaranteed delivery!!!!! This lady is honest she sent part as stated no defects I would highly recommend this place for any old used truck parts very knowledgeable!!!!!

These guys always have quality parts and on the rare occasion there is an issue they are quick to resolve it. We buy only workable cores and its part of the business that some have hidden issues and Kyle knows that and has always been great to work with.
To start Sharon is a pushy sales person and only wants to help to make a sale, I after going ahead and purchasing a used crankshaft that they told me has no warranty which I was willing to take chance because Sharon had put her boss on phone and he guaranteed me that the crank was good and only need polish and would be good to use so after giving it thought and of course I needed my truck was down and Sharon kepted texting me I went ahead and bought it because Sharon boss said if it didn’t work we could work something out I requested pictures and they sent pictures and they were not very detailed but agin I need so took a chance and bout it after it took a little longer to get to my location and they did not provide me with a bill of landing I waited after receiving it I quickly noticed that it had far more scratches then they disclosed I contacted Sharon back and she told me I don’t know what your talking about part is good to use, giving the fact I own trucks and know a good part from bad then she would not respond back to my messages. I took action and contacted visa for a refund due to part was not good and they knew it was not and went ahead and sent it to me and were not willing to work with, then after I called agin and tried to talk with them Sharon answered me and acted like she didn’t know anything about it and put me on hold for a couple of minutes and then the gentleman Kyle picked up and said we have nothing to talk about visa is in middle and said I was trying to pull a fast one on them and when I was trying to talk he said la la la sure good luck with that and hung up on me must say if he is the one in charge that has to be worst customer service ever rude and not professional, I also will be filling a complaint with the BBB service for bad service and mis represention of the part. Never agin will take someone’s word.
Kyle ,I never asked you for main bearings I did ask if you could take to machine shop you told me that you did not have a place you could take it there you could take it to and you told me that The crankshaft was good you inspected it and I will need is a polish so I’m not sure what else your speaking about and as far as calling me dumb shows how professional you are and hanging up on a paying customer look if your so hungry for 1160 to keep your doors open keep them poor scams you do in selling part with no warranty and then turn around and insult me you call that pride wow good day.
