He was so customer-oriented and ensured that we were highly satisfied with our service. He was kind, compassionate, and had a wonderful sense of humor. I highly recommend Menz Towing Services.
John was fantastic! AAA couldn't find us a tow. After waiting for about 3 hours we gave up and just called Menz towing and John was out WAY faster than they estimated he'd be. He was so kind and a pleasure to talk to and he had the truck hooked up FAST. Can't recommend them enough! Thanks again John and Menz towing!
Headed to Mt Zion when unfortunately our vehicle stopped in Kankakee due to an oil issue. Larry Menz was the 2nd option for us and we went with them due to being more reasonably priced. Our tow truck driver was Max and he was wonderful. He accommodated me and my family as best he could given the situation and had good vibes all around. I definitely would recommend them and would call this company again if we ever need them for future services
My van broke down unexpectedly in the Kankakee area. Larry Menz Towing was recommended to me. They were great, very professional and very reasonable. I appreciate all they did for me including John who personally handled my situation. I love this kind of service!!

Best tow service we have ever dealt with. Same day tow for a vehicle that was 100 miles away. Best price we found after calling at least 6 different tow companies. Our tow driver's name was John and we were very, very satisfied. He even called us to let us know when he was getting close to the drop off.

I had to get towed from 2 hours away. I had Tater as a drive. He arrived quickly, got my car attached quickly, and was an extremely kind individual. If I could give him more than 5 stars, I would. This is the second time I've used Menz and I'll absolutely be using them again in the future.
My car had not been working and then quit working on me all together and it was decently cold out and I called them and they said 15 to 20 minutes and they were out there less then 20 but Tator very friendly and welcoming got my car on the truck pretty fast and then had me hop in the truck and took me back home and it was over all a great experience and definitely going to use them again and Tator was a 5 star worker
Called to get my suv a jump start because of a dead battery. Max and John arrived very quickly and they both were extremely friendly and helpful...We will definitely call them back if we ever need their services again...
The driver got my dog, me and my vehicle (that decided to die in the middle of the road) home safely. Super friendly and showed up right when they said they were going to. Great job, thank you so much for making a very stressful situation not so bad.

highly recommend!! We had a wonderful experience with this towing company. We blew a tire around 10pm on I 57, the tire had a lock on the lug nut and there was no key so we were unable to change the tire. We called this company to see if they could tow us to our home (located in Plainfield, about an hour away from where we were stuck). The lady we spoke to was so nice and Max, the tow truck driver was there to get us within 20ish mins and he was absolutely wonderful!!! We had our 1 year old as well as our dog with us and there was still no hesitation about them coming to tow us. From pricing to customer service/arrival time, I have no complaints at all.

In a stressful situation (accident at 2AM) Menz Towing came threw and put us at ease! Their Driver John went way beyond the call of duty to help us! The office staff Jen and Jill were super helpful and patient when trying to gather all information on how their process and policies worked! We never used them before for any situation but from experiencing their friendly OUTSTANDING service we will be using them every time in the future if we are in need! Thank you all again!
Menz Towing did a great job towing my car. John the driver was punctual and responded within 15 minutes from the time I called. Good experience from dispatch to delivery. A lot of care was shown towing my freshly painted antique 30 miles to my home. Would highly recomend them for any tow work.
Menz Towing is great. We had a breakdown far from home. Menz Towing gave us excellent service thanks to our driver John Lynch. He was very helpful and hilarious! This company made a bad situation bearable. If we ever need help in that area Menz towing is who we will call!
Had to call them when the turbo and motor went out in my vehicle. The woman who answered the phone was very polite and answered my questions. The man who showed up was timely, polite, and didn't immediately demand payment. Best part is they were $150-200 cheaper than some of the other quotes I received. More than willing to use them again in the future
I had an extremely unpleasant experience with Larry Menz Towing and the Kankakee police. It appears that the Kankakee police and Menz towing are in collusion, as they called for a tow knowing that we were on our way to retrieve our car. Despite being just 15 minutes away, the officer insisted that we pay a drop charge to the tow company before we could even take our car.
so we waited about 15 more minutes for two trk.
When the tow truck finally arrived, the driver exhibited aggressive behavior from the moment he pulled up. He was speeding down the road and used his air horn to scare my wife into moving her van. she was by rxr trax and he tried to say thats why in that case u dont scare her.
Once he got out of the truck, he approached me in a hostile manner, even though I was standing on the city sidewalk, not moving towards or away from him. I calmly informed him that we were going to pay the drop fee, but he insisted that I step back. I told him im not moving.
He then threatened that I wouldn't get my car if I didn't comply. He walked back to the police officer, who eventually confirmed that I could take my car. At this point, the tow driver informed me that the fee was $250, which I agreed to pay. However, he then demanded that I pay in cash only, refusing any other form of payment. i told him ok ill get cash he said he had no time he had other tows at this point he had not even hooked car so my wife and myself went got cash from gas station 1.5 city blocks away.

why is kankakee not giving the business to a Kankakee local tow company?
couldn’t get car because when we called they said office closed next day it was 475 lol this is pure robbery no different than Harvey IL crooked police and a tow company in collusion

This entire interaction left me feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. The unprofessional conduct of both Larry Menz Towing and the Kankakee police reflects poorly on their professionalism and integrity. I would not recommend their services to anyone, as it seems they prioritize personal gain over providing quality service to citizens.

I was stuck in my driveway due to the snow near a busy intersection and John from Menz Towing circled around the block and helped to push me out-free of charge. It was such a genuine gesture of kindness and truly made my day! Hopefully I never need a tow while I'm in the area; but if I do, I will be calling Menz Towing! Thank you so much John!
They change the price once it's hooked up and on the road. Basically hold you hostage. They were given the address ahead of time asked the total. Dispatcher says 155 total. Truck driver charges 190. Definitely do not reccomend.
The gentleman arrived in 5 minutes and took my car to Midas repair shop within 15 minutes. He was polite and he made the experience much easier than expected. Thank you sir! Would recommend Menz to everyone.
