BEST AUTO ZONE EVER I HAD A INTERVIEW TODAY AND GOT MY KEYS AND PHONE LOCKED IN MY CAR I WAS LUCKY AND ABLE TO RUN TO THE AUTO ZONE NEAR ME I GOT BRUTALLY ATTCCKED BY A GEESE AND THAY HELPED HEAL MY WONDS (metaphorically) AND HELPED ME GET THE HELP I NEEDED I WOULD RATE 10 STARS OF I COULD!!!!!!

They almost always have everything I need for vehicle repairs and maintenance. If they don't have it, they can usually get it within a day or two. Good employees with good attitudes!

I went in to get my battery tested. The person Said it was reading 0 ok I drove here. Anyway asked what battery would be best. I also asked if she could install it she said she didn't know how and proceded to not have much knowledge. What a disappointment.

I was working from my car in the Jewel parking lot and ran my battery down I went to your store and Kim the manager went above and beyond to help me. She first walked over a jumper pack and when that didn’t work she actually went and got her own car to give me a jump. That lady is a treasure and I will definitely be back for all of my automotive needs as well as telling everyone how great my experience was

Was having difficulties with my battery came on over they checked it out for me and helped me get a new battery! The took out the old corroded one and installed the new one for me in less than 5 minutes. I’ve always had a great experience with AutoZone!

I visited the Sugar Grove store today to have my battery checked because my car wouldn't start.I don't remember the womans name who greeted me when I walked in, but she was super nice and helpful. She attempted to test my battery but the battery terminal was corroded so she couldn't get a read. She asked Chuckie to take a look to see if he could get one. Chuckie tried to test it, and also couldn't get a read. Then he tried to jump it, but that didn't work. Chuckie explained that the battery terminal was severely corroded and he recommended that it get replaced. My battery was still under warranty so I requested it be replaced anyway. Chuckie was hesitant because he didn't want to break the terminal in the process, but he also didn't want me to be stranded. Chuckie asked me if I had anywhere to be, I said nope and he went ahead with replacing the battery. He cleaned the corrosion off the terminal, got it looking new, replaced the battery and got my Pathfinder running again. Big shout out to Chuckie for helping me!! Chuckie deserves a raise!!!

Today Chuck helped me made sure we got the right headlight bulb then put it in my car. I called two other auto zones they didn't ask specifics so probably would have got the wrong bulb. Also they stated would not put in for me I drove 20 minutes farther since I moved out of sugar grove to visit sugar grove auto zone, they have always helped us and provided excellent customer service.

I needed help with a fuel line and the gentleman behind the counter was very very knowledgeable. I was trying to do a quick fix and he was able to recommend something different and that worked even better than my idea. Just wanted to say Thank you!!

Was a terrible experience today , not the normal people I'm used to seeing there one guy wouldn't leave me alone yet give me the space i wanted, he was right there in my face and insisted he get my items for me i told him No i can get myself he continued to follow to the back of store i got my oil and some cleaning supplies proceeded to the ck out were the other one was ringing people out the other guy was real admit about being right in front of people and getting the stuff for them instead of going to the other register to help the other guy ring people out that were waiting i never saw this before in the store and I frequently shop here, but its always during the day

Thank Mathew for me. I walked in today in dire need for some help. My motorcycle had a punctured oil filter and Mathew was able to sell me a new oil filter, wrench, oil, shop towels, pan, funnel. Being 28 miles out, we were able to replace the filter, install new oil, go over to the U-Do-It car wash. We washed off as much oil on the tires and belt, and then limped home carefully. I’ve gotten bad parts from this location, and not just little small parts. When I talked to a store associate they didn’t have a care in the world they I got bad parts from them. I will not be going there. O’Rielly’s it is for my parts.

We were on our way to a family vacation, towing an RV on I-88 when we lost A/C, experienced a sudden loss in performance, and the check engine light came on. We were able to limp to the nearest auto parts store which happened to be this AutoZone location. After deciphering the OBD results, Chuck jumped in to help explain the codes. I knew it might be an ignition coil and that was one of the suspected parts, but I had never changed one on the Ford Explorer. He not only researched the cylinder numbers so that we could replace the correct one but also went out to help me perform the work. It was 93deg out and the engine was much hotter than that. Chuck also stayed well past his shift to aid us with the repair and help get us back in the road. Additionally, the store was immaculate as well as the restrooms. I highly recommend this location if you're in the area and need some help. Thanks again Chuck!

Drew went above and beyond for me on February 7th. I was on my way home from work that night and had to pull over because my tire had lost a significant amount of air pressure. I pulled out my air compressor in an attempt to fill the tire, but had an impossible time trying to unscrew the valve stem cap. I saw an AutoZone across the street and pulled in. It was almost 9pm, but I was hoping there might be someone there willing to help. Not only was Drew willing to help, but he went above and beyond by grabbing his tools to help me fix the problem. The air pressure in the tire had dropped to 13psi. Without his help, I most likely would've been stranded on route 30 waiting hours for a tow truck. Thank you so much Drew! AutoZone is very lucky to have such a caring employee :)

Manager on duty was rude and disrespectful to not only me but also to his employee. Newer enployee was having issues running a test on starter I brought in so called him a name and was very brash and disrespectful to him. I'd go out of your way to find a different autozone if need parts.

Always find what I’m looking for here and they are more than helpful every time I stop by. They have extensive knowledge about everything and have even helped me with installing bulbs and other things on my car right after I purchase them. This place and all the people who work here are awesome!

Thursday my car battery decided to die. I called auto zone and they were very helpful in answering all my questions and before we hung up I had a new battery picked out and waiting for me to arrive. After jumping my vehicle I drove straight there and the battery was at the counter waiting for me. The employee rang me up, provided me with a rebate form, and continued to carry the battery out to my car and install it for me! I was in and out in like 10 minutes and home in time for my son after school! So glad to have them here in Sugar Grove!

Worst parts store I've ever been to. This is how stupid the management is there. They allowed two employees with two days experience to close down the store, one guy could barely use the computer to look up parts. The guy I had to deal with couldn't figure out how to give me my refund for returning my starter even though he called his manager 4 times! He ended up putting it on a gift card some how, after I was there for an hour I decided to come back the next day so maybe a manager could give me my refund. Nope the idiot I talked with when I went back told me he couldn't refund my money off the gift card and offered me 10% off every time I go in!? What moron would take that deal!? So after telling him no to that offer he called one of his fellow idiots & was magically able to refund my money off the gift card. By far the worst customer service experience I've ever had & I'm not a very picky person or ever write reviews. I don't blame the new guy for not know his job fully I blame his genius manager who put those two new guys in that spot. In my mind that's a blatant zero f's given about your customers & there time putting two new guys there with no sort of manager. If I could give zero starts for this place I'd do it. If I need to go to a auto zone ever again I'll drive to elburn & I live in sugar grove. F this place & the people who work there.
