I was connected to Shock's through my roadside assistance. The driver was prompt and friendly. He delivered my car to the repair shop after an engine failure and made sure the keys made it safely to the drop box. Their friendly service made a stressful situation easier.
This towing company was chosen by the state trooper, not by me, and it cost me almost 10 times more than another available option.
I had already received a quote of $550 from another towing company for the same 15-mile tow, but I was told it was not possible to wait about 30 more minutes, so this company was selected instead. I then ended up being charged over $5,000.
The invoice includes unnecessary equipment and charges that were not required for the situation. There were also attempts to increase the price during the service, leaving me with no real choice at the scene.
Being forced into a tow company chosen by law enforcement that charges 10× more than the market rate is unacceptable. Extremely poor experience and very unfair billing. I do not recommend this company.
Responsive and courteous staff. Service was a dead battery jump start. The driver arrived in the time estimated by the app. I would recommend this service in the future.

My radiator hose came off while I was at a location shopping. I called the dealership and asked if it would be alright for me to drive to their location for hopefully a quick repair , they suggested I did not drive it and have it towed, even though they were only a few blocks away. They gave me the number to this towing company as I was trying to get the situation under control as quickly as possible and they said this was a local company they sometimes used. The tow truck driver showed up quickly and actually put my hose back on and I was able to drive a block away and refill my antifreeze at an Auto Zone location. He saved me the trouble of having to take my vehicle to the dealership and I was able to drop my passengers off and drive an hour away to get myself home safely. I don’t remember his name because I was pretty flustered by the whole situation but A big shout out to him for his prompt and courteous service. I have added them to my contacts should I ever need assistance again I will definitely call them.Technically I called for a tow and was charged for that service but he helped me out in a different way, which worked out even better! Update I just looked at my invoice and Robert Travis is listed as the driver from Tilford Towing in Belvidere Il.
Great they helped move my mower off of a stump and saved my husbands back from damage. Getting to old for that lifting! Guys were very kind and worked fast! Was $100 but worth not hurting our backs!
I did not get the truck driver name but the service of the company was excellent. They came within 5 minutes after I called and received service all on 2 minutes. Thank you again for helping me and my family.
Awful. Granted it was cold and icy out. I had put my car in neutral with my handbrake on ready for the driver. He said he had it from there so I came inside. 5 minutes later he phoned to ask how the hand released. I said just press the button to release it. I went down there and he had yanked with a lot of strength in the opposite direction towards the back seat. Breaking sone plastic in the center console. His excuse was that it was frozen. It wasn’t. It engaged with ease, as always when I set it. 3 clicks. I called his manager and sent pictures. Hunter said the owner would be in the next day. Crickets. I texted again and asked what their process was. Crickets. I left a vm. Crickets. People are human and make mistakes but the lack of accountability is now causing me to file in small claims court. The drivers actions caused both wheels to be locked up and the hand brake to be damaged. My mechanic was able to tease the wheels but now I have no functioning handbrake. I highly recommend using another tow company.
10/10 service, had an issue with my wheel falling off on a lowered car and Javier helped me out and got the car to my house with zero issues and no damages! Definitely recommend and will use them again
My son was on his way to Wisconsin from northern Michigan and hit bad weather 2 hours from his destination and went into the ditch (his first time on a long distance trip) Calling from Michigan, I had to make the arrangements to get his vehicle pulled out, the driver was very pleasant, helpful and got there in a short time.
This company is Awesome. I had a company Jeep loose a tire. They showed up in under 15min. Javier was the driver absolutely amazing to deal with. Answered all my Questions. Javier has a great personality and kept me and my Jeep safe. I highly recommend this company.

Very professional. Original expected arrival time was 75 to 105 minutes. Was blown away that the driver, who was very professional, arrived 15 minutes after my initial call. Very impressed would definitely recommend.
Service person came quickly and was very friendly. He got the tools needed and removed the blown tire. He even helped with the load leveler hitch so we could get back on the road.

Very grouchy old guy. Triple A sent him. Just showed up and husband went down the street. Mad about it. I told him no one alerted us who was coming and when. Called AAA for service at 8:am. Got to our house about noon. Why wouldn’t his office call? Said he hated working for them. I have had AAA for 20 years. Never have had such a bad attitude from an auto service they hired. He needs a nap. Said wheel was hub was cracked. Don’t know how that happened. He pushed car out of garage. Very rude. Yikes!!!
The service was excellent! I had to call really early in the morning and he was very helpful even though I wasn’t even sure where I was. Told me he was sending a guy out and he arrived and was very friendly and knowledgeable and got me on my way in no time at all.
Came out at 1 am on a Sunday morning within 15 minutes. Serivce was done professionally and fast. I truly appreciate them. Tilford and his team are very reliable.
The driver was very courteous. He kept us up-to-date on where he was and even apologize that he couldn’t get to us sooner when it wasn’t even his fault that he couldn’t get to us that soon. He did a great job and again the trim was fantastic. Great service great job guys keep up the good work.

I had an amazing experience while getting my car towed, I had a blow out and schocks helped me out and brought my car to the nearest tire shop! Jacob was amazing!! Very professional driver and service! My car is 2 inches off the ground and he did very well at getting it on the truck with no issues! I wish I had pictures on the truck but I was more interested on how well and quick he did with getting my car on the way to the shop!
