Highly recommend Pete's! My car literally died in the driveway of a random business in 9* weather. The first company couldn't get it on their bed, but Joey knew exactly what to do with a dead AWD. I jumped in the cab and was the warmest I'd been all day! Super fast, super polite, and very reasonable. Would definitely use Pete's again... If I needed to!

My daughter was in an accident December 23. My vehicle was towed to Pete’s. I had to wait until after the holiday to remove the items from my car which was fine. I did not have to pay anything since insurance covered it. The guy at the front was friendly. We got our items and left no issues.

very expensive i left the car for two day they charged me $380 for towing service for seven miles distance + $150 dollar to take my car out from backyard to front building .$530 is my bill .i spoke to lady over the phone they told me $530 dollar is my bill when i get there the gentleman told me $720 is my total bill then i mentioned i already get the price over the phone so finally they corrected for me overall their price is unclear

Never ever use this company. I literally know nothing about them besides one of their jarheaded employees tried to run me off the road in an employee truck. All because I changed lanes in front of him as he wasnt paying attention and he ended up having to slam on his breaks. Based on other reviews from this place, it seems this lack of professionalism runs throughout the whole company. Wish i reported this to the police while i still had the chance. If you see plates on one of their trucks starting with 210 STAY AWAY

I strongly advise others to think twice before using this company. Their lack of professionalism and accountability can lead to unnecessary expenses and frustration. The towing operator failed to secure my car properly the night it was towed resulting in damage to the front and lower bumper of my vehicle. When I addressed the issue with Dana the boss of the company she ignored my concerns and refused to compensate for the damages. I contacted them multiple times to request compensation, but they either ignored my calls or denied fault although I sent evidence. Due to their negligence, I now have to pay out of pocket for repairs. I would not recommend their services to anyone who values their vehicle.

This is absolutely amazing service from Jamie! He is very friendly and knowledgeable to do his job. 5 starts for sure!

Extremely negative experience with Petes A Towing My truck with a trailer was practically stolen by this company directly from a truck stop without any explanation or legal grounds. To get it back, I was forced to pay $1,400! My truck was towed half a mile by this company without properly disconnecting the driveshaft from the powered axle, which caused severe damage to the transmission. As a result, I had to spend nearly $6,000 on repairs.This company is a disaster, and I strongly advise drivers to avoid their services. I hope the relevant authorities investigate their practices. Their actions are absolutely unacceptable and appear to be illegal. They never provided a reasonable explanation or proof of why my truck was towed. This feels more like fraud than a legitimate business. I strongly advise drivers to avoid dealing with this company and to be cautious. I sincerely hope that the responsible authorities investigate their actions. If you need truly professional and honest towing, I highly recommend Pepe’s Towing and Recovery. These guys quickly and efficiently towed my truck to the dealership for repairs, charging only $250 for the job without any extra fees or hidden charges.

Had a bad experience with them. Got a quote at $500 with all provided information. Once they tow your truck, be ready to pay almost double of your quoted price ($950). Stay away from them!!

This is a truly amazing company with an amazing staff. Monique was kind, helpful and informative. She had a great attitude and super awesome to work with!! I understand that having your car impounded can be frustrating but there is no need to be nasty to people that are just doing their job! This is someone's sister, mother, son, father! Be nice and you'll get what you give.

These guys towed my car last march 25th, they damaged my cars suspension and they don’t want to take responsibility, i won’t used their services never ever! Really bad service!!!!

I had a very bad experience with Nora. When i asked her why the price is $218 and not $170 as said on their sign, she yelled at me that she is done with me using the f word. Very professional Nora! Also she refused to provide any assistance when i was not able to move my car due to huge amount of snow around the car and the other cars parked in front and behind my car. She said that i should get a snow car brush and clean it. Do better Nora. Please provide some anger management classes for your employees.

The tow truck drivers and great and nice. But, besides some of the staff not knowing the right information, that led to my total being way more than it should have been. There is at least hope, because Kathy is a savior and totally amazing. So because of her, I give this place 4 stars. (This was not for a personal tow but to get it out from being towed)

I’ve gone through Pete’s multiple times to get a tow, fair prices no hidden fees and kind drivers. They run ahead of schedule. This most recent time I paid less than what the estimate is. Can’t recommend this company more, better than the other guys 100 times over. Joey was great and multiple times I’ve offered to buy the drivers lunch and they turned down the cash every time, great people.

Tim our driver did a great job. He was friendly and quick he got the job done.. The front office was great… They knew where I was exactly based on my cryptic description..of where my car died. Again I would use them in a heartbeat! Thank you for making my Friday night NOT so bad…

Was involved in an accident on I-90 while traveling for work. Pete’s took care of me in a terrible situation and made it as pain free as possible. The tow driver was meticulous in not causing further damage to my vehicle during the tow. The office staff helped me by providing a list of local, reputable auto body shops to do the repairs. I hope to never need them again but if I was ever in a jam again I would call them without hesitation. Thank you to Pete’s A Towing.

Pete’s A towing gave us a smooth experience in a stressful situation. The receptionist took the time to reach out to our insurance and gave a call back to us while another company had simply cancelled our scheduled service. Bob was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. He took the time to straighten out our bill which had been quoted at a lower price. Their customer service was spot-on and was much appreciated.

Excellent service and very professional! We had Pete's A Towing haul a large truck that we sold which was convenient for the buyer also! This is the third using Pete's for towing needs and have been extremely satisfied with their services and costs. I highly recommend them!

When AAA failed me and I mean failed miserably, Pete's was the first call I made based upon their reviews and their close proximity to my wife, who had been stranded on the I-90 Tollway for over 5 hours. Paul, the dispatcher, was calm and professional while I was having a meltdown over the fact that AAA over the course of 5 hours could NOT find anyone to tow my wife and her car. They also wanted her to leave her vehicle, in the dark, and find her own way off the tollway! Paul, quoted me a price to bring my wife and her car back to Wisconsin and had his driver there in less than 25 minutes. The driver, Joey, had my wife and her car home two and half hours later and the price they charged me was even a little less. Having a loved one trapped on a very, very busy freeway in the dark and having the roadside service that you've been a loyal member of for 25 years completely and utterly fail without any compassion, is not something that I am keen on experiencing any time soon. Pete's A Towing saved my night and potentially my wife's life.....

Unreliable service… stay away at all cost. Very Unprofessional and doesn’t keep commitment to their clients. Waited 3 1/2 hours, canceled and got quick turn around with Cherrys Towing service.

My son needed to tow his vehicle last week and they were super friendly and fast. I called 2 other tow companies and Pete’s was the cheapest rate. We will definitely use them in the future! Special thank you to the secretary who took our call. She was quick to email me the invoice so I can submit to my insurance for reimbursement.

TRUCKERS!!! ALL AROUND AND IN THE AREA OF EAST DUNDEE!!! NEVER EVER USE THIS TOWING COMPANY! The employees are unprofessional, they can not do the job right. Better to pay little more to a different towing company not from the area! No more words, just take a look at these photos, and yes, they said this is the only way to tow the semi truck :)) And yes, of course they didn’t fix it and did not return the money back! Jimbo is that “professional” trucker :)) he can not even swift the gears properly at his own tow-truck!!! :))

Had my car towed and they scuffed my wheels. Left my car next to a dumpster and the tire was flat with a nail in it. People in office were very disrespectful and not professional when confronted. I would not recommend this company if you care about your vehicle.

Can I give this place 0 stars instead? Don't bring your car here unless you have no choice. I got into an accident and my car was towed here. The next day I called to see if I could send someone else to get the rest of my stuff. Before I could finish my sentence, I got cut off and was told no, the towing fee would have to be paid before anything else could be grabbed from the car (which is understandable they want to be paid for their service), and that I would have to send an email releasing my car to my insurance company. The second time I called, the girl that answered was much nicer. I asked her how much my towing fee would be ($150) and that if I were to send someone else to grab my stuff, they would basically need to have some sort of proof that they can access my car or I could send in an email that someone else could get into my car. My mom provided proof of ownership and the guy at the desk didn't care for the proof of ownership nor was he going to let her see the car. After we got past that she co-owns the car, they were concerned about payment for the towing fee. My mom told them that my SO was going to come in and pay and they told my mom they weren't going to accept his payment. Lastly, not only was the bill he paid not $150, they charged him over $300 because of "other fees". It's one thing if I was told of these other fees, but I wasn't. So, of course when taking his money, they had no problem after that.

Excellent experience today using Pete's A Towing! Had to have my vehicle towed when it broke down on the road. The guy they sent out was awesome. Super quick to get my vehicle on the flatbed and very accommodating and polite! His great service helped to make my morning a little bit less stressful. - Would've given 5 stars if they had arrived a little bit quicker. . . Overall great experience!!
