Very cool old school house. Walking in the front door greeted by antiques and a bar stocked with spirits and beer on tap. Take a left into a cozy little area leading to a coffee bar with pastries. Staff was helpful and explained the layout of the building. The espresso drinks were average. Walking thru the 3 floors of the antique mall.was very interesting with lots of choices and relics. Very eclectic spanning generations of memories for sale. My opinion pricing was at the upper end. No matter it was pretty interesting and cool place.
You could spend a day in this place. Its an old school turned into an antique mall. It's awesome, also reminds me of s hool days with the floor creaking and old school flooring. Plenty of antiques
Very neat antique mall! It is giant with multiple floors and many rooms on each floor. Lots of cool collector items. Also I recommend stopping at the coffee shop! Delicious seasonal drinks.
As featured in "100 Things To Do in Illinois Before You Die," this is Illinois' largest antique mall. Built inside a historic building - a former elementary school - it's fun to roam the nooks & crannies, imagining the kids who roamed the halls. There are unique items - some are a steal, I swear. Elizabeth is on the outskirts of Galena, therefore, I suggest a visit to both, perhaps with an overnight stay at one of many options in the area. For example, Chestnut Mountain Resort is perched along the Mississippi and offers a view of the river valley from its back deck patio or window-lined restaurant. Oh so much to do and see in Illinois!
A very nice antique mall. Save enough time to go through all of the floors. Nice selection and variety. The Rootbeer was fantastic, so make sure you get a sample! We will definitely be back!
Very nice antique shop. When first entering a cozy bar area attracts the attention of most customers. Behind this are three floors of antiques and what feel like endless rooms of antiques! Would recommend for anyone who loves antiques and even a little "adult beverage."
ok.... so let's just say I'm not totally into antique shopping; however, you add in a great beer on tap or a nice glass of local wine and I'm in for the long haul. This place is endless, the family that owns it was super nice and if you can't find something unique to purchase for yourself or a special gift there's a problem. Such a lovely atmosphere and even though it was a beautiful day it would be such a great place to hang out and explore on a rainy day. Definitely Worth stopping and checking out!!
Such a neat place to visit. The building alone is worth exploring. Most booths are tidy and organized. Many treasures to be found and prices are reasonable. Plan for a few hours to make sure you get to see everything. No AC so it can get warm in the summer
Such a fun place to explore! The antique mall is packed with unique finds, and it's especially cool that it's housed in a former school building - every room feels like a little treasure hunt. There’s so much to see, and each time I visit, I discover something new. You could easily spend an entire day here just browsing. Definitely worth a visit if you love vintage and one-of-a-kind pieces!
Love this mall, such a great variety of goods, decent prices and always a unique experience. I love to find all sorts of unique and fun treasures. And the book hall is so fantastic ♡

The antique mall is absolutely amazing. However I went to the coffee shop that’s attached I walked in at the same exact time as my friend and, we were discussing my order after she had ordered. And, then refused to make me a very simple latte. A despite me walking in about Look at a book and I had to have you get five minutes before closing. And, they even didn’t make my friends coffee right.
This is a super cool stop! There is so much to see, make sure to plan a few hours to visit. The only downside is that there is no air conditioning and it was crazy hot! Prices were reasonable.
The antique and vintage mall is huge, 3 stories. The outside patio is very inviting and the coffee bar makes great drinks. Worth a stop if you’re traveling near Galena. I’m not an antique buyer but it’s enjoyable to look, get a latte and a jar of jam or pickles.
I’ve been coming here for a few years and this place gets better with each visit-almost the entire building is now open and full of vendors. For the most part it’s easy to walk through and spacious. Did not see an elevator so be prepared for that- lots of steps from the basement to top floor. There is something for every kind of collector- seasoned or new. Additionally, there are some handmade consignments, trendy diy, and some junk. Cafe is open and snacks available for purchase- great customer service too. Various payments options available- most prices are good and reasonable.
The Elizabeth Antique Mall is blooming. Come sit for a while, grab a coffee and explore the never ending supply of amazing goods from the many different vendors. Don’t miss the third floor! Love this place.
This place is amazing to walk through. Every nook and cranny is a little adventurous escape room. There’s a large selection of antiques, collectibles, kitchy and crafty.
This is a great place to stop and find a gem at a good price. It has a friendly vibe. They just opened a coffee cafe which is welcoming and cozy. The space is an old school building with a variety of vendors. There are many great finds in here. Especially love a stall on the 3rd floor who offers really nice up-cycled goods.
Huge place, Can easily spend 3 hours inside walking around and seeing interesting things of all kinds, if you dig hard enough you can come across some decent deals even tho is mostly overpriced. Also, be warned that this place has adopted some "turist trap" techniques, dont be fooled and do your research before buying anything from here, saw cola bottles that you can literally buy right now at the grocery store for far less, same thing for some of the collectible stuff.
Must mention theres quite the problem with rats... found some large piles of rat stools dripping from the roof next to the stuff on sale, plus some strange liquids and smells around, avoid things on the floor.
Step back in time and find everything from your childhood. A time when things were better and made stateside. This was previously a school, and now it’s simply full of treasures. I could have spent hours wondering throughout this antique mall. A must check out for sure!
Best antique mall in the country! Hands down! This place has everything. Over 250 vendors featuring a wide variety of collectives. Literally anything you could want. I’ve found some of my favorite vintage clothing pieces here. The mall is situated throughout 3+ levels to explore. The vibe is intentionally set with an eclectic, island feel upon entering. It’s funky, chill and serene. A place you’d want to get lost in. As you move throughout there’s a little bit of everything. Highly recommend checking out this gem!
Absolutely fantastic antique store! Multiple levels and well organized. Every time we went around a corner a new treasurer appeared. Something for every collector as well. My husband found a toy from the 2000s and books while I found great glass wear and trinkets. Make sure you see the entire place!
We were staying in Galena but had heard about a few things to do in Elizabeth that were recommended. If you are going through Elizabeth or even close to this town please stop here! I was completely shocked by how large it was! It went on and on and on... If you can't find it here you won't find it anywhere! It was just fun to walk through. I would love to come back when I have a few hours and really take time to look at everything. It's such an amazing, cool building! So glad we stopped! Highly recommend!
Very very cool. But you must keep in mind that it is 2.5 hours west of Chicago. However, it’s right before Galena which offers a lot of other stuff and that alone makes it worth the drive.
Okay, the mall itself is housed in an old school house, but it’s not a tiny school house… more like an old high school. Lots and lots of rooms and vendors. It’s like a maze and at every turn you will find something Interesting. They do not exclusively have antiques, there are a few spaces with things like soy candles, natural soaps, and crafts. (in my opinion that’s great.) and there aren’t too many.
Prices are very fair in all the booths.
The entire mall is clean (including the bathrooms.)
Parking is great.
Staff is very, very friendly and helpful.
We enjoyed the three hours we spent in the mall and left with a couple of items.
They also have fresh coffee.
I’d say go when they open, then go onto Galena and grab a bite.
This is a wonderful antique mall that seemingly never has a end. It is an old multi-story school converted into an antique mall. The staff is very kind and the variety of items is plentiful. If you are looking for a place to spend an hour or more - come here! I’ll be back!
This was so much FUN! An Old School turned into an Antique Mall. Even the bathrooms brought me back in time. Both of us came out of the bathroom and said.... did you see in there!
