Nice campsite for our overnite RV stop. Had a pool (closed when we were there in October) and a playground. Pretty little lake (saw paddle boats too). Shower house was nice and clean even though older. Whole area seemed very well kept and very pretty. Lots of trees. Train ran at night several times blowing it horn, which was loud, but nostalgic. Barbara, the owner, could not have been any nicer.

This place is very pretty with a lake and comfortable sites. The play ground for kids is clean a fun. The owners are friendly and helpful.

Nice little Kampground. Close to interstate, easy access. Not many other campers here, maybe it's the end of the season. Pool and playground, pond for catch and release fishing that is free to those who camp here. Nice walking trails around the pond. Tenting sites available as well. I rated a 4 for service because we do not live in areas that have tornadoes, office staff did not show or explain the storm situation well. Can I take my dogs? You can bet I will if the need arises.

Lots are small. There is run down rv’s with boards over the windows. THEY CHARGE YOUR GUESTS WHEN THEY COME TO VISIT! I have NEVER been to a park that charge for visitors to you campsite! Will not be back.

This is a great campground and the owners are awesome! My husband and are are riding our bicycles across country. The day we checked into the campground, he had a Crohn's flare/bowel blockage and went to the hospital. He was in the hospital for 4 days. The owners stored our bikes, watched our tent, and even picked us up from the hospital! Such nice people! The campground is clean, has a great showerhouse and lots of trees. The laundry room even has recliners!! I highly recommend staying here!

First time at a campground and never expected the amenities to be so nice and for everything to be so clean! Best $20 I've ever spent!

This is such a great campground located right off interstate 70. We stopped for the night headed to Missouri. The folks that own this place are wonderful. They have full hook ups and the sites are plenty big. The restrooms and showers were spotless. Once again the folk's that own this are great folks. We will be staying here again when traveling through.

I stayed here one night on a cross country road trip with my dog and we had a great experience! Barb was so very friendly and accomodating. Also, they deliver your firewood, which was a wonderful convenience after a long drive! The bathrooms were very clean and water pressure was great! This campground was beautifully maintained all around and provided a nostalgic charm that brought me back to family camping trips as a child. I will certainly stay here again in the future!

We stayed there for a little over a month. This was such a great little family owned campground. Lots of lush green grass and trees. WONDERFUL playground. A little bit of something to do for everyone. We would 100 percent recommend and definitely stay at again if we are in that area.

This campground is clean and well maintained with an awesome playground and a very helpful owner. We will stay again if we're back in the area. Thanks for a great stay!

So glad that we found this campground. The camp hosts (or owners) were extremely accommodating, helpful and friendly. The camground was quiet and peaceful. Didn't use the restroom or showers. My husband was very excited and took advantage of the free catch & release fishing. The dog and I enjoyed the wooded trail and walking around the lake.

We stay here every time we pass through on I-70. Okay valley is a family campground with safe quiet fields and playground for the kids, roomy sites for the RV, and a nice pool. Barb is super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it.

We could not have picked a better place for our first family camp. The lady running the place was so nice and accommodating. It was a very nice, quiet campground. They take very good care of the grounds and the bathroom/shower houses are super clean! Top notch place!

Bathrooms were clean enough to set your bare butt on the seat and shower without shoes! Barb was very clear on her expectations, which to some could come off as rudeness. I paid $26 for an electric tent site, which I was able to hook two extension cords up to, and an additional $5 for wood. (no outside wood permitted) Overall good experience, would stay again.

Nice park. Clean and kept up nicely. The owners were very nice, but I have to mention that the owner stopped by to let me know that checkout was in 9 minutes (my slides were in and I was packing it up, with plenty of empty sites available). I just thought it was a bit uncalled for. She wasn't rude about it at all, it was just one of those things I guess. There is a nice pond and a walking path around it. Saw a little wild life. I liked it a lot, but I would be a little reluctant to stop again as 1. it's kind of in the sticks unless you are on 51, which I will never take again because it's very rough and lots of towns to go through. 2. I think $55 for a nights stay is a bit steep. My trip from Texas to WI all my nights were in 30 dollar range, except for this one.

We recently stayed at Okay Valley Kampground, a cozy private campground that brings back memories of classic KOA sites with its charmingly tight quarters. Situated conveniently off Interstate 70, it's the perfect spot for travelers needing a quick and pleasant stopover. Our visit was initially planned as a one-night stay for a travel softball game, but we enjoyed it so much that we decided to extend our stay. The staff were incredibly nice and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The highlight for our family was the fantastic inground pool, ranging from 3 to 7 feet deep. My daughters had a blast, and we appreciated the pool toys available for borrowing. The campground store, though small, was cozy and well-stocked with a variety of snacks and drinks to satisfy any craving. They also offer paddle boats for rent, which we didn't get a chance to try but looked like a lot of fun. Okay Valley Kampground is a great place with convenient pull-through sites, ensuring a stress-free stay. We highly recommend this campground for a couple of nights, especially if you're in the area for an event or just passing through.

This was a very nice, clean, campground, easy to find off the interstate, nice pool, pond for fishing, & small store with necessities. Barb, the owner, was easy to work with when I called to book our site. Our site was plenty long enough for our dually & 40' 5er, & had lots of shade which we enjoyed. Wish we would have had more time to stay longer. Would definitely come back to this campground.

We had an excellent experience with this campsite, the tent camp area is very spacious, the rest room very clean, and the shower water temperature perfect. There are plenty trees, and wild animals, we especially enjoyed the songs of the birds and the croaks of the frogs. Additionally the campsite is conveniently located right off I-70, making it very easy to continue our trip on the free way. We will definitely come back to this place.

This is a wonderful campground. We were passing through and only had the pleasure of staying one night. It is conveniently located near the interstate but you feel more secluded in the wooded area of the campground. The land is slightly rolling throughout the park and they have a wonderful fishing pond and an inground pool and large shelter house. We did not get to utilize many of the amenities that were offered due to us only passing through. However we did use the shower and bath house, which was impeccably clean. Are particular site was a pull through and it was pretty level . It was a grassy area on each side but are actual travel trailer parked on gravel. The owners were very responsive as we arrived late and it was after hours. We would definitely stop here again if in the area.

We stayed here last year. The owner had to leave for a family matter so we didn’t get to see her. We talked over the phone and she had everything ready to go when we got there. We signed in and got to our Shaded spot with ease in our Motorhome with our jeep. Spots are fairly level did not have to use and extra blocks at all. We liked it so much we are leaving tomorrow to go spend 5 days there. I’m glad we get to meet her this time. She seemed so nice. I can tell she’s the type that would go out of her way to make sure that you’re happy. There is also a nice small lake on the property as well. No license required to fish. Lastly it’s such a nice place to wind down and enjoy a week away from home. You won’t be disappointed. We were in our 34’ Motorhome pulling are Jeep 4 Door Wrangler. Was enough room.

This was our first time here! The weather is cold and rainy so didn't have much opportunity to look around alot! We have two dogs so had to take them out for a walk.About the only negative thing I can say is they have big not sure what you call them but they have thorns on them and they are everywhere.I ended up carrying my dogs to areas where they were clear so they didn't get them in their paws.Other then that the lady who checked us in was very polite and nice. The grounds looked OK what I saw and they had a nice looking pond.Would definitely stay here again in better weather but wish they could get rid of those thorny things!

The sites are fairly level and they are big enough for a overnight stop you don't have to unhook your toad. They are always friendly and the shower house is clean. They definitely need to do some updates on the park. The prices are good and it's a safe little camp grounds. They have a nice fishing pond and a nice pool. Very small playground and only a dog walk but plenty of places to walk your fur baby. We like to stop on our way to ohio and then again on the way back.

We stayed for one night during the week, as we were passing through. Cute, small CG. Nice level pull-through site. Full hook up, WIFI. Clean pool. Nice gift shop. Very nice people in the office. Nice pond for fishing. Cons: Pool was in direct sun without any shade whatsoever – no umbrellas. Nice CG for a short stay. Would come again.

Wonderful and very kind owner, who is willing to work with you if needed. The amenities are good, and the bathrooms are very clean. The location is excellent, right off of an exit of Interstate 70. I was a tent camper for the weekend, so I cannot say what it is like to have an RV there, but I was happy with the campground and would come again.

This is a smaller RV Park, about 60 sites and a couple of cabins. It is just off the highway, but had very little road noise. They have about a dozen long pull through spots set aside for overnight and some tent sites. Gravel sites that are level with convenient hookups that all worked correctly. NO cable tv , but we could pick up few OTA channels. There is a nice fishing pond and plenty of green space to walk the dog. Bathrooms were clean and they have a small store with some supplies. Pool was nice and welcoming after a hot day. Owners were onsite and very friendly. Town is about 8 miles away with grocery stores and restaurants. We will definitely stay again when in the area.

Barb the owner was absolutely lovely. The campsite was close to the highway, but down and far enough away to make us tune out the traffic. Dog had fun, lots of room to play, great space and also very clean bathrooms. Our only suggestion would be to change the area light to something less bright. It was like having the sun in your eyes all night. We had to close up half the roof tent to sleep. I get it’s for safety, but the location of the light was just not fantastic. Other than that it was absolutely perfect! Slept great! Thanks so much. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re traveling out West! Thanks Barb! Tim & Monica

Barb, the owner, was so kind and even waited for us because she was closing the office and we were stuck in traffic. Our site was spacious and grassy, we upgraded to a site with electric because it was humid and muggy so we could use our portable fan. Location is convenient right off the highway, but a treeline keep the noise to a minimum, so that was really great! Super grateful for showers, clean & well lit restrooms and a well kept campground. We didn't get to use the pool, but it was being cleaned first thing in the morning and people were jumping in as soon as they opened it. Great stay and friendly staff, thanks for great one night tent stay!

Pride of ownership shows! Most welcoming hosts and the campground is exceptionally clean. Highly recommend a stay. Overlook the pond, watch baby geese swim and enjoy the openness of this lush, green space just off the highway. Owners are super nice and very accommodating! Hope to stop in again on another trip! Very reasonable rates as well!

Quiet. Peaceful. Nice little lake with Free Catch & Release fishing (No License Required) there looks to be some fairly good size fishes in there! Good water pressure, 30 and 50 amp service. Nice staff. I'd stay there again. We were in a 36ft Class A with toad. Pull through was plenty long enough. Kinda tight getting out, but we had no problems.

A convenient spot just off the hwy but offset enough that traffic noise wasn't bothersome. Nice big pull through spots in a section that is easily accessed for overnight stays. A beautiful setting with the lake and pathway around it. Park is exceptionally clean and in the summer I can imagine the pool is a great spot to cool off. Services worked as they should and hookups were all convenient to the pull through spot we stayed in. Owners are by far the most pleasant people you will meet. The work they have done on this park in the last six years of ownership are remarkable. Their efforts to revitalize this RV park are deserving of a medal. As snowbirds who make an annual migration south each year, this will be added to our scheduled stopover to and from.
