In October, the throttle cable on my motorcycle broke and left the bike stranded. I called six separate towing services and Area DuPage was one of the more reasonable. I made arrangements to meet them where the bike was the next evening. I dealt with the dispatcher, Scott, who was great. The quote he gave me over the phone was the same exact number I was billed when the job was done. The driver, Ron Hartigan, was an absolute professional and was extremely thorough strapping down the bike. I followed him into the dealership and he drove slow, smart and kept my bike safe. Besides all that, he is a really good guy. I hope it doesn't happen, but if I get stranded again, I'm calling these guys. Highly recommended.
Highly recommend Area DuPage Towing! I called and needed my car towed within an hour and they were quick to respond and get my car to the shop by the time I asked them to. The driver, Scott, was so friendly and nice. Definitely will use in the future.

Today, as my husband was taking me to work, our car completely shut down, right at a fairly busy intersection. Our dealership suggested that we call Area DuPage Towing for a tow truck. The dispatcher, Colleen, was wonderful - said she had a driver already in the area and he should be there in just a few minutes. Sure enough, he arrived very promptly and went right to work. The driver, Austin, loaded us up quickly and efficiently, and he could not have been more courteous (even though he, himself, must have been having a pretty stressful day already.) The verdict's still out on the car....but thanks to Area DuPage Towing, we didn't have to spend all day stranded in a snowstorm in the middle of the intersection. Called them once another towing company did not show up and left me stranded. They arrived within 10 minutes and the tow driver was super nice! I would highly recommend!
I had one of my vehicles towed by them today. Aaron came out within 15 minutes of my call, and he was not only polite and professional, but friendly and helpful too. The very modern and clean flatbed really was impressive; Aaron was able to load and secure my small SUV in less than 5 minutes, even though the rear brakes were seized up because of the reason that it had to be towed. He even used hard rubber wedges under my tires to prevent flat spots on my tires because he had to winch the vehicle forward 40 feet with seized rear brakes to get it on the truck.
This is the second time I have used them and have been happy both times. As an owner of a ground transportation company it is good to know I have a company so close that I can rely on to do the job right and at a good price. No business is immune to bad days so it's good to know help is on the way when I need it.
Also I REALLY like that they do not do impounding for non-governmental assistance. Profiting off of the extrajudicial seizure of someone's property is morally repugnant, and I refuse to do business with pirates!
Rich was awesome.. he changed my rear tire to the spare so my car could be towed.. he also offered a ride to the shop. He made the process honest & straight forward. Thank you, I would definitely use them again, preferably Rich!
Waited 30 minutes after having a scheduled pick-up with Credit Card given and received a call that there was an emergency tow and that they can’t pick my car up until later in the day... Yet you say you have two tow drivers?
I had an unfortunate accident with my car this morning and Area DuPage Towing helped me out. I wish I could remember the name of the man who helped me! He was very kind and calmed me down in a bad situation. He was able to recommend a good scrap yard and was super professional and polite throughout the whole ordeal. Unfortunately not much could be done for the tin can I called a car, but I’m grateful he was the man that came!
Dont think I will ever have my vehicle towed by this company. Just saw a vehicle fall off the boom, and destroyed even more of the front end of said vehicle. All because it was half hooked up. Should really come back to clean up the sharp pieces of plastic that broke off when it happened.
Worst towing experience of my life!! My wife's car died,.I called my normal go-to towing company but they were extremely busy and couldn't help. So I called Area since they're right in town. The lady said a truck would be there in about an hour, and assured me it would be a flatbed which my Jaguar requires. 2 HOURS LATER, a guy shows up with a truck with the crossbar on it like they use to repo cars. He then proceeded to tell my wife how it would be OK, which it is NOT OK... I called the office to cancel the tow, and the lady in the office was extremely rude to me and then hung up on me!!! I will NEVER use Area Dupage Towing or recommend them to anybody. If you need a tow, call Deluxe Towing -- they are honest, polite, fast, and will show up with the right equipment.
Best damn towing company around! They are amazing at there job, put the customer first, always get to there job at lightning speedss. I don't know why I ever tried to use any other company for my toes and moves, this company is your go to day in day out.
Hadn't needed a tow before and was not sure who to use. So I called around, I went with Area Dupage and glad I did. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. They got to us quickly and reasonable prices. Will use again if needed.
Didn't have the tools to open a car despite giving inaccurate estimates. Wasted and hour and half only to have the truck driver simply disappear in the middle of doing it
