Happened to breakdown after leaving Wal-Mart in Darien, IL at 7:30pm on a Wednesday night. I contacted Allstate for a tow and paid for it on the app. Then I got the ETA of 3 hours. Waited in the road for over 2 hours when Justin from Action Towing happened to drive by. He stopped and asked if he could help. I told him I already had a tow truck coming but he put a machine on my car so I could get it started and move it to a safe location. He was very knowledgeable and helpful when he didn’t have to be! I ended up canceling my tow through Allstate and had him tow it to the repair shop, which he said they have a contract with so he was very familiar with them. I just assumed I would go through my insurance but he informed me that if I would have called the repair shop, their after hours would have directed me to Action. I didn’t even think to call them since it was after hours. Justin was really amazing. If you need a tow, give them a call. You won’t be disappointed!
Phenomenal experience from start to finish. This is the first time towing my vehicle somewhere and I not be able to be present during pickup. The driver was kind, professional and extremely caring towards my vehicle according to the individual who was there. you don't see that these days and I appreciate action treating it as their own vehicle, and making it the least stressful part of my day given my cars current state. As one who is insanely particular about their vehicle, I was confident by the end to know my vehicle was handled with the utmost in care. Thank you from the black GTI!
There is exactly one other man who is allowed to touch my truck- his name is Cliston and he drives a flatbed. He is quite literally the only tow truck driver I will ever call. If I broke down outside of his range, I’d push the car until it was in range, and then I’d call Cliston.

I locked both sets of keys to my car inside the car. I work in a grocery store Mr. T heard me saying that I locked my keys in my car. He was so compassionate and caring helped me get my keys. If you need any help this is the Company to call.
I had my Audi Q8 towed on November 20, 2023.1) They broke my level sensor on my Audi which costs me $725 to fix. 2) It costs me $300 to tow the car one mile. 3) They stole the sunglasses out of my car. I called the Owner and said he was going to look into it and called me back. I never heard from him again. They away from this company.
After calling vendor after vendor and being refused service by Fire Towing, Action picked up the phone right away, was very professional and so was the gentleman who operated the truck. Overall great experience, highly recommend for towing services.

Action towing did a phenomenal job that left me very satisfied. The young man, Dan. arrived on time as promised. He took great care to secure the car without creating any scratches, wrote up the details on the ticket for insurance purposes, and dropped the car off at the mechanic. He was very polite and reassuring. I highly recommend hiring this towing company.
My wife had an accident. The owner was polite and respectful, and assured her that she would be OK after she was shaken after the accident. Their customer service was excellent and the owner was polite and friendly with every interaction.
Help arrived in around 45 minutes which I consider fast! The tow truck driver was very friendly as we drove together to the Mechanic's shop and we had a pleasant conversation. It was $175 from hillside by I290 and 45 going up to downers Grove main street and 63rd basically. I picked this company by my mechanic's recommendation because of where I live and it was a fair price in my opinion.
I just had an Action Towing truck tailgate and flash their emergency lights at me for at least 3 miles down Lake street. He/she then cut me off and that is when I took that picture. Got the license plate; 212178. Not only was it raining/ poor weather conditions, but I was already doing damn near 10 miles over the speed limit. Very dangerous and unnecessary stuff. This happened around 11:08pm Monday Jun 6th, heading east in Lake Street.
Towed my car after an accident and were very helpful when my mom went to go get my belongings out of it. They let her warm up her hands in their bathroom when it got too cold out and they personally got the plates off the car themselves when she realized she didn't have a screwdriver. The two men who assisted were very nice and so helpful!
Action towing is the best there is!! They are all such nice professional people and are quick to respond. I highly recommend and wont have anyone else tow my vehicles. The pricing is very comparable and they drivers know what they are doing and trustworthy call for any and all needs you will not be disappointed!
Got a flat on I-88 W a little past the merge from I-355 S. The call was friendly, informed me that he couldn't change the tire on the expressway, and a tool to remove the tire wasn't available. So I got a tow during heavy/backed up traffic from an accident to a Tire Shop to change the tire.
The cost of the tow & tire change was very reasonable and didn't break the bank! Tow Truck Driver was nice to talk to, had good conversations, and drove safe.
I would definitely recommend this company's service to any commuter, like myself.
Called Action Towing to tow my car to the shop. Driver realized it was just a battery, so he gave me a jump and got me started. Saved me the cost of the tow, as I only had to pay for the service call and jump. Appreciated his quick and honest assistance!
If I could I'd give this company 20 stars! My car was dead due to this God awful weather and the first company I tried to get my car towed 1 mile wanted $200+..OUTRAGEOUS! Called Action and spoke to Jeff, he was kind and understanding of what is going on. Was upfront that it might be a while and wasn't going to charge me that crazy amount from the other company.
Didn't even wait an hour and the driver was here. Roxie was wonderful and even bonded with my dog.....A+ service from this company and I truly appreciate them and not taking advantage of people in this weather.....With the drop, hook, and tow it was less than $100.
