My experience at My Mechanic Elmhurst was terrific. They conducted their inspection and determined my A/C compressor went kaput. They also performed the required testing to determine the reason for a Check Engine light. I brought the car in on Friday and the repairs were completed by Monday morning. Courteous service and they satisfactorily answered all my questions. I will have all of my cars serviced by My Mechanic in the future.

Able to get appointment quickly and car is always ready in a reasonable time frame. They advise of work that could be done but do not push for it if is not required, as a dealer might.

My Mechanic fixed an issue with my car quickly and for a fair price (they had it finished before the dealership would even have an open appointment.) They explained the issue and gave me an upfront estimate, and they even took pictures of the part they had to replace. I will go back to them again!

My Mechanic did a great job with my BMW. My bmw had a check engine light so I brought it into My Mechanic. They diagnosed the issue which took some time due to my car having a few issues that were creating the check engine light. They returned the car and unfortunately the light came back on. My mechanic took the car back and continued to fix the issue until everything was resolved. They communicated with me along the process and were incredibly helpful. I want to give a specific shoutout to Nick L who explained the issues and process to me and answered all of my questions. I would recommend My Mechanic to anyone with a car issue who wants good service.

Kevin and Drake explain the photos and recommendations made so well and partner with me in deciding on priorities for safety and longevity of the car. We continue to bring all 5 of our cars to My Mechanic and have had amazing service, honesty and quality of workmanship for all levels of service...oil changes, AC, spark plugs, brakes, shocks, tires and radiator replacement. One of their best offerings is they provide an amazing free diagnostic report every time you bring your car in for service. The dealers typically charge $100+ for that. Mike, his son Nick and team are all great to work with and highly recommend their shop!

My Mechanic is reliable and efficient. We're so lucky to have them in our town. It's a clean, friendly environment and always easy to connect with the owners over issues that come up with our cars.

I’m from out of state. Had my car parked in the driveway, where the lovely neighborhood squirrels decided to munch on my wiring. The guys at My Mechanic took care of the problem quickly, reasonably priced and were great to do business with! Friendly and gave a list of other things that could use some attention with my car. But were not pushy at all about doing anything else beyond what the current problem was. Any additional car problems I may have on my visit, I will definitely go back there!

I've been going to My Mechanic for over 5 years now, like since they opened, and they hire top level mechanics. Their prices are more than fair. I have two 2008 vehicles and have always enjoyed the process of keeping my cars in top running condition.

Excellent service and transparency. They do a wonderful and thorough job and were quick and accomodating about whatever questions I had. Highly recommend! I will be going back for any car needs.

I needed the car checked out before taking a an unexpected long road trip the next day. There were some items that needed attention. They were able to fit me in the same day and got it done before the end of the work day. They are always very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.

The job was completed to my satisfaction with an explanation of the parts used in the repair. They are fair priced, helpful and offer quality services. Nick and the mechanics at My Mechanic came to our rescue while on a cross-country road trip from CA to NY! We requested a 9am appointment late the night before and had the appointment confirmation by morning. From Nick and team's assessment our CR-V had a busted water pump, serpentine belt, and needed coolant system flush and fill. They let us know that the work may take until late in the day if they had everything for the job, to our happy surprise, they were able to complete everything by early afternoon! The price was reasonable and the timing was fantastic, the next time we are in Chicago we will absolutely be going back to this shop. Thank you so much for the quick and honest work 🙏🏽🔥

So impressed with My Mechanic (Clarendon Hills). We’ve used them to service two higher end cars and they’ve been easy to schedule; quick but efficient; reasonably priced and honest. But above all else they have not been pushy with their recommendations for repairs. I’ve always come back for service on their recommendations but they let you do it within your own time, giving you the space to do your own homework on the repairs if desired. A gem in our neighborhood and now have friends driving 45 minutes to service their higher end vehicles here. Thanks Nick and team!

I brought our car in on Monday for an oil change. I was told the brakes and shocks needed work. It was shown and thoroughly explained to me. The problem was I needed the car back Wednesday early morning to take my daughter back to school. It wasn’t a problem and the car was ready at noon on Tuesday. Nick and the crew at My Mechanic performed a pre-purchase inspection on a used car, allowing us to make an informed purchase and save money. We live in the far north suburbs and needed a pre-purchase inspection on a used car in Hinsdale. Nick was able to accommodate us and our need for a late afternoon timeline. When we arrived, Nick walked us through the issues he found, thoroughly discussed the severity of each issue, and provided us with an online report, complete with pictures. This family owned business is well run and very professional. I wish I lived close enough to them to have them do the work needed on our new car.

I’ve now used My Mechanic 3 times for service related things. I own a BMW and they knew exactly how to take care of my car. Nick was professional, accommodating and got the job done in a timely fashion. I highly recommend them.

We asked Nick and the team at My Mechanic to perform a pre-purchase inspection on a used car we were looking to buy. Their work was excellent, and ended up saving us a good chunk of money. Mike and Nick are great guys and honest mechanics. They took care of some serious work needed on my older Honda model. The results from their 99-point inspection proved to be accurate and the work was done quickly to repair the car, at a very fair price. I couldn't be happier with the service I received.

They are polite, professional, honest, convenient and reasonably priced. Mike even checked all my tires recently before i left on a driving trip and put air in them for no charge while i waited.
