If I wanted to scrap the shell of a car, it has no motor no transmission no tires or anything just the shell and some steel scrap metal inside, would I just put it down in the parking lot and follow the normal after hours protocol??
Very amicable & helpful staff, very fair prices paid for ferrous & nonferrous metals. Has excellent hours so you can always find time to recycle your metals even if you work 40 hours / week. Never had any problems, always pay me the correct amount on each metal type I bring in. 5 out of 5 stars! Would recommend & I'll be going back myself when I have more to recycle (I go about 4 - 6 times per year or about once every 90 days). Good staff. Usually enough bins that you don't have to wait. They sometimes pay a penny less for common ferrous metals, but staff is very helpful in separating the more valuable non ferrous metals. Yard gets very muddy when it rains. I lost a set of keys once and a few days later they found them. Literally like finding a needle in a haystack. Update: They've reorganized the yard so buns are mostly on the parking lot so not so muddy anymore most days.
They're gonna let you load all your metal then find out by random people next to you they're closed and can't buy your metal 2 stars only because open Sunday
guy who takes aluminum copper is a persistent problem and the pay if below moderate
We had our kindergarten Cub Scout field trip here and it was a blast!! Carl was so thorough and fun with the boys! They loved seeing everything and learned so much! Such great service!
This scrapyard is the best! They have amazing people that work there that help you get your material off your trucks and scale it up. The lady behind the counter that Will help you to get you paid out the most money for your Metal product You definitely should take your scrap here !
I wish I could give negative stars. I called up Executive Recycling as I had a large truckload of aluminum siding that I wanted to recycle. I asked them if they would pay for the Aluminum scrap. Their answer over the phone was "yes".
After I drove over, they informed me that I wouldn't be compensated for the scrap, and to just leave it there. I wasn't about to get taken advantage of like that, so I left and took it elsewhere.
These people lied and I lost considerable time (not to mention gas) because of it. I won't deal with them again, and I highly advise against dealing with this business.
Fair prices, friendly staff. Sometimes unclear on the hours of operation. The lot could be a little bit cleaner, I've picked up a few screws in my tires while there. Otherwise, it's a great local place to scrap your metal
they were great super friendly were goin to give me a price then another employee came up and corrected him with the right price which was more money for me so that was pretty cool. would definitely go back for next time!
Typical scrap yard appearance. Some friendly staff. Revising review as I have had a few issues arise from multiple trips. Need better and more honest scale people. Last trip I made there are a few items that were misclassified and was not thrilled with the service so I will go back to the other scrap yard where there is some trust with the scale and classification of metals. Use caution and watch them so you don't get burned.

My opinion has changed due to the Latino owner shutting the door on me twice right before closing and low ball offers on my metals.
Sadly, I'm done with them.
If I could score lower, I would. Place is a complete mess all the time, leaves debris in the street that has caused several flat tires. This place definitely needs a visit from the village of Addison ASAP. On top of all of this, the owner of the company is EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional. All in all, this place is atrocious and deserves a negative star rating if that’s physically possible.
They have a first come 1st serve policy they open up as 7:00 a.m. no problem when in check dear no proud Mary by the head on a mass they get you load it and on your way great place no problems with me preciate it
Great experience, great customer service. Amazing prices equal to market value and helpful, honest employees. Took home $700 on scrap just laying around one of properties. Will definitely come again and all my recommendations to this place have come back positive. Great job guys
