Everyone at Andersons Automotive & Recycling was very nice and helpful. We had a flat tire on Rt. 36 on our way home to Ohio in September. We needed a new valve stem for our tire. They fixed it in about 15 minutes and charged very little. Very considerate and helpful people.
I absolutely love coming to Andersons the mechanics are awesome guys they are quick with what they do and not only are they quick they have pointed out to me any extra failing parts and not to make a dollar off of me but to make sure I stay safe on the road Denny the owner is an awesome guy he’s honest he’s humble and wants nothing but the safest rides for his customers come to Anderson’s and get taken care of not taken advantage of great people over here I cannot say it enough they are really great honest and always fair
i needed a rim for my car. was told that it would be a few hours until it was pulled from another vehicle, i live 30 minutes away and drove all the way out and it wasn’t pulled. told them i was going to come back the next day. i showed up at 8:07 and the gate was still shut no one in sight to open it either. waited 5-10 minutes and still nothing. if you want to sit around and waste your time you’ve found the place to do so.
They were supposed to have a rim pulled for my kids yesterday they drove 45 minutes and they hadn't even started pulling it and told them to come back tomorrow. Well here we are its 9am says they open at 8am but yet they have a line waiting outside the gate. Before anyone asks yes I tried to call multiple times and got no answer.
My alternator went out with no warning, fortunately on the Thursday before a long weekend. Trying to get it fixed before I have to return to work on Monday. Called and was told there were three in stock, what I D number? Had called earlier to ask how late they were open and was told five. Couldn't tell me where to find the I D number so I took pics and called back to give them a heads up I was coming. It's a forty minute trip so thought the heads up would help since they'd know I was coming and why. Was told they couldn't help me today. Ok then, I guess you can't ever help me at all. How hard is it to sell me an alternator in ten minutes after I've driven 40 miles to buy it from you and you know I'm coming and why? If you want to pay a business to treat you badly, you've found the place.
Andersons worked tirelessly to fix my problem, searching up to closing time to find the specific part my van needed. I received a text when the part came and they were able to get me in on my schedule. They were able to get my vehicle in and repaired within a couple of hours. The office staff and mechanics all were very friendly and genuinely made me feel like I mattered and my problem was worth taking care of.
Anderson's is the kind of place that can turn a stressful car repair into a pleasant experience. I found them through car-parts.com, because they had the hood I needed at a good price. Austin picked up my call, patiently talked me through every aspect of the repair, checked his inventory, and called me back within a day. Turned out, they also had almost every other part I needed to repair the front of my car.
He set my cost and time expectations accurately, paid attention to the weather, and had the new kid drive me to and from town. The team worked diligently to get got me back on the road in time to pick up my daughter from school. That shop is filled with good people. Also, no small thing, their prices saved me the equivalent of a couple of months rent compared to the estimates I got in Chicago. 10/10, would make that drive again.
Denny is an outstanding kind of person, generous, and has fair prices and will go out of his way to help a person if possible. His staff are very friendly & knowledgeable. Mechanics are top-notch
So my kid crashed his Oldsmobile and it was impossible to find parts and a hood but Andersons Auto recycling had them and helped me figure out a way to get them thanks Andersons
I have known and have worked with some of the Anderson family. They have a work ethic second to none. The work completed on my vehicle still shows their continued quality and care. The work was done as requested and cheeper that other shops/dealers would charge.

Great service and quick response. Ordered a salvage auto door on-line and had shipped to out of state address. Part description and photos were helpful and accurate. Front differential went out on I-57 while heading home to Arkansas. Denny & the guys bent over backwards to help us out & got us back on the road in no time. Price was more than fair & we cannot thank them enough for all they did for us! We will definitely call them again for future needs even though we live 8.5 hours away!
