I brought my car to Arndt Automotive after being with my prior shop for over 3 years, and I had the most amazing experience with this team, they’ll be my new regular shop hands down. I was initially very nervous, but they had me fill out a questionnaire about what I want for my car and what my goals are, then they talked me through everything they were going to do, and when we determined next steps would take longer than was worth waiting there for, they got me a loaner no problem.

Their customer service is amazing, they listened to my concerns and questions and I was fully communicated with through the entire process. My car drives perfectly after getting work done through them, and it was the lease anxiety-inducing car experience I’ve ever had. I cannot recommend this shop enough

These guys and gals are the top notch local mechanic in the county.

The two women I've talked to at the counter have always been straight with me about what I need to look out for with the wear and tear on my car. They charge a fair price and give excellent service.

I know that it's family owned and operated and that the mechanics work with care. If you're looking to start bringing your business to someone new you can trust, these are the people.

Most courteous. professional auto care shop I have ever been to. I was in an accident with their loaner vehicle unfortunately, and they made sure I was ok, and they would get a tow truck out to me free of charge since it wasn’t my fault. From the thorough inspection and transparent conversation, to the actual work on my vehicle, and personal care of EVERYONE involved, Arndt Automotive is top notch! Will be coming back.

We were driving our Jeep to Colorado and had engine failure on i-88. We showed up in the morning asking for help and the staff bent over backwards to get us in and got us back on the road late afternoon.

Very grateful for the empathy they showed us and also the great service.

I have a lot of anxiety about taking cars in for services after a few negative experiences with mechanics in the past. Everyone at Arndt has made me feel welcome and been friendly. So far, I've only come in to get my oil changed, but I will be returning for brake services this week. Thank you guys for taking great care of my car and being willing to work with me when I'm on a tight budget.

9:30 appointment for an oil change. Told them I’d pick it up at 1.
Walk in at 12:59 and the mechanic is “in a meeting” and they haven’t finished my oil change. They say they still need to do a quality control and then they need to go over paperwork. They refuse to give me my keys or let me pay.
Made me wait till the meeting was over.
Do not recommend.

The staff at Arndt Automotive has given my car the same level of care and attention that a dedicated health care team would provide -- consultation regarding my short and long-term goals for my car to determine which services to consider, a comprehensive status report of my car's health, and extensive follow-up since my last visit. All of which, I appreciate. I had my left front wheel bearing fixed for a reasonable price and will definitely be back the next time my car needs any major servicing.

I have been in the area for an 11-month work assignment. Friends recommended Arndt to me--and I'm so glad they did! My several-times experience with Arndt has been over-the-top excellent! From Amanda at the front desk to Jen, who was my service representative, to whomever worked on my car, my experience has been top-notch. I was able to get my car in quickly every time, the waiting room was very comfortable, the cost was reasonable and best of all, my car continues to run wonderfully. Thank you, Arndt!

My experience was awesome from start to finish. One of the best parts of taking my car to Arndt was the awesome communication from everyone there. Everyone is so friendly and patient and they explained what was going on with my car and what needed to be done to repair it. I felt at peace and anxiety-free knowing my car was in good hands. I also had a courtesy car, which eased a major part of the stress and inconvenience of car repairs. I also felt I could trust that the cost was fair and that’s rare. I highly recommend Arndt Automotive!

Arndt ran a test on my vehicle and found that my issue was less involved than I had anticipated. Because I spent the small amount of extra money and went ahead with the diagnostic test, it save me $800 over what I had been originally been quoted. I've found that I can trust these folks to do a good job. They could have just as easily went ahead and did the unnecessary work and charged me for it and I never would have known the difference. But, they didn't, they were honest and I appreciate that.

We’ve had our vehicles here a few times now and we won’t be going anywhere else. This is the place to go for honest, professional car repairs. They will be up front and tell you what needs to be done immediately and what can wait, and even take videos to show you. I’ve never had a repair place do that before. They also have loaner vehicles if you’re in a pinch for transportation while your car is being repaired. I can’t recommend them enough! A+ for Arndt Automotive!

Amazing all around! My check engine light started flashing a block away from Arndt’s and they got me in, set me up with a vehicle to use while mine was in the shop, and had me up and running in my own vehicle the next day! Amanda and Kim are incredibly compassionate, understanding, anmd informative; I am so grateful to them and the entire team at Arndt’s automotive! They have earned a new customer for life!!

Great customer service. My sprinter van alternator went out. They were able to get it towed to there shop. I love hours away from where my truck went out. They worked within my budget. I definitely recommend this place

Great customer service, got me in right away and had a loaner vehicle ready to go with a deposit that went towards my final bill. They fixed my oil leak which only took a day or two ( most of the time waiting for parts.) I will be going back for any other repairs or matainence.

Arndt Auto did a wonderful job doing diagnostic work on a vehicle that I inherited. As I am out of town, they coordinated picking up the vehicle that had sat for a couple of years and troubleshooting the repairs that were necessary to get the truck back to good working condition. I appreciate all the efforts that they made to thoroughly examine what the issues were. Would definitely recommend!

The technician and Kim were terrific in explaining that my brakes were fine, with lots of wear left and functioning properly. In the face of another outfit ready to sell me brakes this is very refreshing and Arndt saved me a bunch of money!

I’ll certainly be back when I REALLY need brakes.

I have a 2005 jeep liberty with a quarter million miles. It has been serviced here for at least 5 years. I have dealt with many repair shops in my 66 years and am incredibly happy to have landed here. Everything about my experience here has been top notch 5 star. I drive this vehicle as much as 5000 miles in a single week. It runs like it was brand. They even customized a bed platform inside so I can camp and sleep on my trips as well as maintaining my vehicle to top mechanical standards for my trips as well as everyday driving.

I just wanna give a shout out to Arndt automotive in Malta Illinois! My daughter is on her way home after her fifth day in a row of 11 hour shifts teaching in Rochelle. She realizes she has an almost flat tire 4% air remaining stops at the gas station in Malta in the middle of nowhere and their air pump is out of order. She has a spare, but unable to change it. I remembered about Arndt automotive being in Malta and call them to ask them to go to help her. They immediately said no problem! In the meantime, she’s able to drive to this location on the little bit of air still in the tire she had left only to discover her other front tire was so bald treads were showing through and dangerous to drive. It’s already their closing time and yet they stayed over, gave her a loaner car free of charge, ordered the two new tires for the following day for installation. Stayed past closing for close to a half hour just to be able to get her set up and on her way! These guys were truly amazing! This is why it is so crucial for us to support our local business partners, especially when they provide the most professional and outstanding service that these guys provided! Thank you with all my heart for helping my daughter! FYI they were even willing to set her up with monthly installment payments if she couldn’t afford the repairs, amazing!!

My tire blew on my way home from work. Arndt Automotive was prepared to meet me where I was, but I managed to make it to the shop just before they closed. They had the new tires ordered and me in a loaner vehicle heading home in less than an hour’s time. Every single employee I spoke with was kind and professional and provided exceptional service. They earned my respect and my business! I wholeheartedly recommend them for all of your automotive needs.

I've been taking my van here for a little while and I always recommend them to others. They are so fast! This most recent time I asked for a part that was hard for them to find and was going to be super expensive from the manufacturer. They found it for half the price and installed it faster than they estimated. They are always generous with giving you a rental car when they need to work on yours over night. They even accommodated me when asked for a rental car that could handle 4 car seats. They are always respectful and I never feel pressured to get work done. An honest auto shop for sure!

We come here to get our cars serviced, but not anymore. My wife took her car in for a routine oil change for which they've always had a promotion since we've been going. When she went to pay, she noticed that the total was higher than expected and asked if why it was so high and about the promotion. The lady working there lied to my wife and said they weren't running the promotion anymore. So my wife paid more than double for the oil change. As she was leaving she checked online and saw that they were still advertising the promotion on their website. The promotion doesn’t end until July 31st. Also to mention the last 2 times she’s taken our car to get an oil change they never asked for the postcard that states the promotion. My wife went came back to get refunded and overhead the guy in the office (assuming the manager) arguing that the promotion needed to be printed. Nowhere on the website or on the postcard does it say that it needs to be brought in. The lady even had the promotion printed/taped on her desk near the mouse pad in plain sight. They did end up refunding my wife but what a poor example of how to treat loyal customers. My wife was understanding that mistakes can be made but they didn’t even offer an apology and the way the guy was so rude about the situation really left a bad impression. Next time at least close the door or have the decency to be a man who cares about his customers. We won't be going back. If they lie about promotions they advertise what else do they lie to us customers about? Shame.

We have been using Ardnt for the last year, multiple vehicles, and have had a great experience each time. We have a 12 seater van that requires alot of "extra" attention. haha! They are the only mechanic who has completed repairs on it completely. We have never returned for a repeat problem. Great friendly customer service and easy to schedule. Highly recommend.

Very happy first-time customer! Came in regarding several issues with my Mitsubishi Mirage G4. The mechanics were extremely thorough in looking over my car, notifying me of several issues I had somewhat expected. All of the repairs recommended were in good taste and detailed, easy to read quote information was provided for me to take home. They also seem to have good connections for getting parts; I often struggle to find tires for my vehicle but they were able to find the exact same ones I have on for a reasonable price. On another note, customer service here is extremely excellent. The waiting room is clean and comfortable. I had a wonderful conversation and learned the business is proudly family-owned! I would highly recommend anyone come here for service, as I will definitely be returning for the rest of my car repairs :)

Yesterday was my first visit to Arndt Automotive. They did a full synthetic oil change that came with a complimentary inspection of my vehicle. They were incredibly friendly and kind. The waiting area was clean and quiet. They offer satellite television and an assortment of coffee pods for those who require caffeine. Very cute little gem I newly discovered in the backroads of Malta. Very family valued & orientated business with reasonable rates. Kind and respectful staff. I felt so at home I feel asleep in this leather chair in the sun. Will be back again for sure for my S class Mercedes. They also work on all makes and models of cars and trucks. Imports and foreigns. I saw an entire wall was covered with CSE certificates and business insurance documents. These guys are the real deal and will definitely be here 20 years from now. You can just tell, that this business will last. Well done guys, and thank you!!!

Everyone over at Arndt is amazing. I brought my ‘79 Pickup in for a frame de-rusting and undercoating treatment. They were able to get the work done quickly and were very thorough in executing what is a very tedious job. They even removed the debris from inside the frame and added an internal coating. While doing the undercoating, they found an issue with my steering system and called to see if I’d like it fixed. It was something I was putting off but decided to have them do anyway and I’m so glad I did, it made a world of difference
The work was completed right when they said it would be and for less than the initial estimated cost. Could not recommend more, Corey and Kevin totally killed it. Check out the before and afters
