We went with claspill. Because we were towed in there. He said motor was no good. We had him replace it. Got 100 miles down the road and it stopped running.we were towed again to another shop. Turns out we got a used engine. We paid $ 8,000 for the engine plus labor. Now we're stranded with a junk engine and no warranty to fall back on. Careful who you pick to repair your car. Don't get ripped off like we did. Would not recommend this shop.

Brent and Michele were the best!! They both went out of their way to help me when my truck broke down on the highway. Michele drove me to the local motel and picked me up when my truck was fixed. Brent not only fixed my vehicle but drove to Champaign to get a part that was very hard to get. I would recommend their garage to everyone!!
The past week I brought my car into a auto shop in champaign and it ended up getting broken into the driver side window which that company would no longer service it as they wanted me to fix the broken window first. I then took it to another auto shop and they told me the problems with my car would total over $5,000. After all this running around trying to find an actual reliable service, my car was no longer safe AT ALL to be driving. I then got a tow into claspill and they said all the repairs would be around $750 while other companies were charging very high. Claspill got my car in and taken care of it in literally just one whole day. They also pointed out other things that could eventually become a problem if not fixed eventually. There services made me much happier as I was struggling for at least a week trying to find a good company. Now my go-to auto repair shop. Would 100% recommend to anyone needing service done on their vehicle.

Claspill Automotive always does a great job for me. They are reasonably priced, and very nice people to deal with. Recently I took my car in and they diagnosed a problem and made special accomodations to repair it with my safety in mind. I appreciate that kind of small-town care and concern!
So very helpful! Our car broke down on I74 going to Indianapolis. They were able to calm us down and assess the situation. We had the solution figured out and were back on the road in no time.
