I went to this locations 2 weeks ago and the person assisted me told me that the parts needed for my phone doesn't have specific time frame on when will the parts be available, I truly understand that however I got this feeling that he didn't even put my repair order in the system. I didn't get any paper receipt or any sort that i came to that location. Just told me to call them and follow up. Which i did. How will they get the request order if he didnt put it in the system?? I confirmed that when I went to another location. Go to Arlington, better service there!

Disappointing Service at uBreakiFix - Avoid at All Costs!
I recently faced issues with my phone and, after consulting my service provider, was directed to uBreakiFix for help with data transfer. Regrettably, my experience was far from satisfactory, leading me to believe their name should be changed to "uBreak, We Break Even More."
When I arrived, I was greeted by Devin, whose demeanor was less than welcoming. From the start, he was arrogant and unprofessional, which only worsened when I had to wait for days without my device. The lack of proactive communication was frustrating; I had to call for updates myself. When I finally reached out, Devin's response was to yell at me over the phone. I pointed out how inappropriate his tone and attitude were, to which he responded, "I'm a technician, I don't do customer service."
I decided to retrieve my device and have it fixed elsewhere. This turned out to be a wise choice. I took my phone to One Stop Repair, where they successfully transferred my files within 1.5 hours, without wiping any pictures from my new phone—a stark contrast to what I was told by uBreakiFix.
The unnecessary stress and loss of valuable files were entirely avoidable, exposing a glaring lack of competence at uBreakiFix. I cannot recommend this place, especially under Devin’s management. It may be time for him to reconsider his career in customer service or as a technician.

Excellent service! They've fixed my phone and now laptop twice!! Highly recommend, staff are trustworthy and professional! Really enjoy doing business with this location and they do quick work, and work around people's work schedules with the phone and computers. They are open at night and on Saturdays.

Gave me 24 hours timeline for diagnosing a laptop issue. When I called after 24 hours, I was told it will take 1 or 2 days more. On the 4th day, when I called they said the laptop cannot be repaired. I gave them a flash drive and asked them to transfer the data and was told it will be done in few hours. When I called for status, they said they have not been able to get to it and probably will be done in 1 or 2 days. When I asked for a more definitive answer, they hung up on me. Took my laptop back and got the work done at another place the same day. I rate them zero on customer service and technical skills.

I visited uBreakiFix in Schaumburg on Saturday, June 6 with my Samsung Galaxy Flip 6 due to a bad LCD, which should’ve been covered under warranty. I scheduled the appointment directly through Samsung’s site.
A woman at the front tried to process it under warranty, but their system wouldn’t let her. She brought in a tech named Anthony, who told me Samsung had already denied the warranty through Samsung portal they share and would only give me a $200 discount to repair it — all without Samsung even inspecting the phone. He also said Samsung would deny the claim anyway because the inner frame had wear… which of course it does — it’s a flip phone. The inner frame naturally touches when the phone is closed, so some wear is expected. But other than that, my phone is in excellent condition. Not even a scratch.
What disappointed me was there was no real effort to call Samsung or get proper authorization. I was just told it’d be $200, take it or leave it. I originally agreed, thinking they knew best — but thankfully they didn’t have the part in stock that day.
Later, I called Samsung directly, sent them pictures, and they immediately confirmed it should be covered under warranty. They asked me to ship my phone to them, and I just got it back today — fully repaired and under warranty — all within less than a week.
I’m not saying the staff is bad — the woman at the front was polite and tried to help — but the experience felt like they were more focused on collecting payment than actually supporting a customer with a valid warranty. No one was rude, but there was a clear lack of effort to do the right thing.
Great customer service, they keep you informed throughout the process, and they were even able to replace my phone battery within a couple of hours! A+
Brought my Alienware tower in because the cpu cooling fans failed. Still under warranty from Dell my options were to ship it back, wait for a tech, or bring it to a certified location. No way I would want to ship it and I didn't want to take off work to wait for someone! So as uneasy as it was I went to the location and they proved my skepticism wrong. Very professional, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Employees actually know what they are doing. They keep me updated through the whole process.
I just asked if they could clean out my charging area cause my cord plug in is loose and I got the no problem give me 10 minutes. Very kind understanding and everything was all fixed and better. The service and repair price was more than fair. The time they took to repair it did not take long. They called me when it was ready to be picked up. Quick, professional job - I was very impressed with how fast they we able to fix the shattered screen on my daughters Pixel 6a. They had it turned around in less than 2 hours. And the price was very reasonable. Friendly staff, who are very proud of what they do.
I would never recommend this location. The owner/manager will do everything possible not to do the warranty repairs. He will come up with totally unrelated reasons not to do it because the manufacturer "would not cover" his expenses.
Total waste of time to deal with unfriendly customer service. In my particular case I am trying to service a $1000+ samsung Fold phone. I am not sure if this is only this location, but I hope Samsung cuts connections with this company to keep their customers for future purchases.
I was very skeptical of this place at first, as on the phone I was connected to someone who did not actually work at the store and the website gave me appointments for... New York and Omaha. However with the back glass of my Samsung Note 9 broken I wanted it fixed ASAP. Made an appointment for 4:00 PM and got my device back within 24 hours not only with a new back glass but also a new battery. It's good as new now! My only complaint is that actually getting your phone in is a pain. Had to wait 30 minutes despite the appointment as only one "front desk" guy is working there at a time. Also, well, work on the web design. I've attached before and after pics of my phone.
