Then I met Johnathan in the Finance Department. Professional as well and explained everything fully. He was very informative.
The last person my daughter and I met was Nicholas Bless. This young man explained all of the gadgets and the operations of the vehicles. He also showed me in the Eqinox Manual where I can post all of my appointments. Wow, This venture at Ziegler made my day in so many ways. 10/25/25 is a day that I shall not forget.
From the moment we were greeted in the parking lot and assisted to a parking spot, we were treated like royalty. I've been to a few dealerships in my 64 years of life, but I've never been treated like I was SOMEBODY. It was not a "hurry up and give us your money" encounter at all. Everyone was courteous, friendly, and professional. Ethan, the gentleman processing our paperwork, was the model of efficiency. He made the entire process less grueling than it could have been. Don, the loan processer, was a delight. He gave us great advice on loan term decisions and even got the sales price lowered slightly to offset the price of an extended warranty we wanted. Nick, the last staff member we dealt with, (sorry, I can't remember his exact title) helped us navigate setting up the OnStar system and phone interface with the Chevy app. I'm so thankful for Nick, because this was a very involved task. He kept everything straight and was extremely courteous and patient throught the whole process. I would definitely buy a car from Zeigler Chevrolet again.
Typical. All went relatively smooth. I was fine with everything with the exception of the upselling. But that is so common today with almost everything. For example: If some magic coating protects everything interior and exterior foe life, I can't help but ask why GM doesn't do it at factory. Would be far better done to new car being assembled and far cheaper by doing it en masses vice individually aftermarket. Then offer lifetime warranties against spills and rust and discoloration and sun fade. Would not hesitate to use this dealer again. Nick was also helpful.

I purchased a vehicle at Zeigler Chevrolet in Schaumburg. Everyone I met there was very friendly and accommodating. My sales advisor Ethan was very helpful and knowledgeable about the sales process, and he made sure that the deal we made was right for me and that I would be happy. As part of the deal I was introduced to Nic their delivery coordinator. He reviewed the vehicles instrumentation and control features with me. This was a great benefit that I did not expect. All in all I had a great experience at Zeigler Chevrolet.

I went to this dealership to get the side sensor and AC repaired on my car. I was given constant updates. Communication with Irvin, from services, was always clear and concise so you never worry or guess about the progress. Car came back after 2 weeks and everything runs perfectly. My car was even cleaned spotless! Going here is always worth the hour drive!

Overall, I had a great experience at Ziegler, in large part due to my salesperson, Ethan McBride. Ethan was great to work with from the start. He was kind, thoughtful, very approachable and answered all my questions clearly and thoroughly. I went on to buy a used Kia and was concerned that his knowledge of Kia’s would be limited since he’s at a Chevrolet store, but I was pleasantly surprised that he was very familiar with my Kia. He also went above and beyond when I realized that I had left my Chicago city sticker on my trade-in. I called him as soon as I realized that and asked him to retrieve and save the sticker for me. He assured me he would and two days later when I went to pick it up, he handed it to me himself. He was incredibly kind throughout the process.
The only negative experience I had was with the Finance person. He was trying to sell me additional warranty for $5,000 and after going back and forth, I said I didn’t want it. At that point, he asked me if I was a member of Costco or Sam’s Club and after I said yes, he was “pleasantly surprised” and told me that I get $1,000 off because of my Costco membership. It was such a juvenile sales trick. He had been working there for 8 years and conveniently “forgot” to ask me if I was a Costco member at the beginning?? No, he wanted to scam an additional $1000 out of me. That left an incredibly sour taste in my mouth.
But overall, working with Ethan made me feel very comfortable and his kind demeanor really helped me feel like I was working with a partner, not a salesman.

I picked up my 2018 Chevy traverse on Friday at 6 PM. It is now Monday at 6:45 AM. I have a check engine light that just came on after receiving somewhere in the realm of $8517 worth of repairs, including transmission Fluid and the timing chains timing cover. I am concerned about this engine light. I wasn’t even planning on making a review necessarily because everything went so well generally speaking, but I know companies tend to take their reviews seriously so I’m leaving this in hopes that they will contact me or reach out to me and handle this in an appropriate manner. At which point I will be more than happy to Change my one star rating to something else higher.

I called Zeigler on a Friday morning due to my engine light coming on the day before. I was hoping to get it taken care of over the weekend. The woman I spoke with let me know they didn’t have any open appointments and that they probably wouldn’t be able to look at my car until Monday. However, she was so nice and helpful. She told me to bring my car in that afternoon and not to worry about getting to work on Monday. She told me they would give me a loaner. Rich helped me once I got there. He explained the diagnosis process and then walked me to the check out counter to complete the loaner paperwork. I believe the young lady who helped with the paper work is the same one I spoke to on the phone. I feel bad for not remembering her name because she made the entire process an ease. She even asked Rich to give me a tutorial on the EV vehicle I was given. I was kept updated throughout the service of my car and picked it up a few days later before work. I’ll definitely continue to bring my vehicle here for service going forward.

We came to Ziegler after a bad experience with another Chevy dealer in the area. We purchased our brand new car last weekend and our Salesman Joseph was amazing. We were deciding between 2 cars and he explained both of them to my husband. He was very easy to work with and did an amazing job. He mostly dealt with my husband and my husband has nothing but good things to say. Joseph gets 5 stars from us!!!
We did have an issue with the finance manager. He way very nice at first, but when we said we didn't want the extended warranty his attitude changed. He showed us what a warranty saved him on his BMW (which had nothing to do with our car purchase), which is comparing apples to oranges. We also asked to see the percentage rates for the financing and he refused to show them to us stating he can't show them to us. He said he could only tell us what they were, but if we purchased the extended warranty he could get it even lower (which means there was a lower rate, but he was using it to his advantage). He told us we would get them in the mail and we could check them when we got them, which we will be doing, but we are already in the process of refinancing the car. We were able to get a way better interest rate than the Finance Manager said we could.
