I brought my truck into dealer of Schaumburg and I got a chance to talk with Phil. Let me tell you about this gentleman. He was amazing. He called me every time to let me know what was going on with my car. I never had a problem or an issue he was very knowledgeable about everything and I know that my truck wasn’t very good hand. I know I have to fix a couple things on my truck, but the only person I will have a look at my car is Phil. I would recommend anyone that needs any repair to their automobile to go and ask for him. I brought my 2015 Traverse into Ziegler Chevrolet to have the airbag recall taken of.

I had an extremely early service appointment for an oil change at Ziegler Chevrolet in Schaumburg, Illinois on Friday, February 6, 2026. As always the Service Manager took great care of my vehicle and got me in and out before I had to go to work. I always appreciate the stellar service here. I am not sure how long I will keep my Chevy as I am thinking of gifting it to a family member but I will definitely tell them to bring the vehicle to Ziegler Chevrolet in Schaumburg for service.

Very unsatisfied with the oil change service I received. The oil filter was tightened so hard. I could not get it off by hand or by belt tool had to take it to Midas, which was amazing and they were very helpful. Also wanted to bring a car here because squeaking was in the brakes. This car had under 9000 miles on it and it’s not even under warranty if there’s a manufacturers defect with the brake pads or rotors, they only cover up the 6000 miles which is garbage a car isn’t even properly broken until almost 20 something thousand miles. Will never buy another new car under these conditions

It was very, very cold the day I picked up the car in Chicago, but Zeigler is a great, great place. The car was as described or better actually, and I am overall pleased. Didn't replace the oil cap. Oil all over the engine bay. Including the underside of the hood. I call the dealer at 5:18 pm after I discovered this, the woman who answered forwarded me to a general voicemail box.

Chuck contacted us when we inquired about a car on the website. He was very flexible of when we could come in to test drive. When we got to the dealership, Chuck was the friendliest salesman I had ever dealt with when buying a car. He let us test drive four different vehicles since we were not sure which vehicle we wanted and explained the pros and cons of each. That made it easier to make our final decision. When we finally decided on which vehicle we wanted, he not only explained the entire process so that we could understand, but he crunched the numbers for us also on the spot. I would recommend Chuck and Ziegler Chevrolet any day!! Thank you.

I had a deeply disappointing and frankly concerning experience with Ziegler Chevrolet Schaumburg when purchasing a used vehicle.
I came in with a pre-approval from my own credit institution, knowing my exact budget. I was very clear that I would allow the dealership to run my credit one time only to see if they could beat my rate. Despite this, my credit was run four separate times without my consent. That alone felt unethical and completely disregarded my explicit boundaries.
I was also misled about the condition of the vehicle. I was told the car had 68,000 miles, when in reality it had 79,000 miles—a significant discrepancy that I did not discover until after the purchase.
Shortly after buying the car, I got a flat tire while traveling for work, which caused major inconvenience. When I went to have it replaced, I was informed that all four tires needed to be replaced, that they were the wrong size for the vehicle, and—most alarming—that the tires had been installed backwards. I was told this is often done to make worn tires appear to be in better condition at the time of sale.
I was also told by the tire shop that I was extremely lucky the tire went flat when and where it did. Had I been driving on the highway in the condition the tires were in, I could have been in a very unsafe situation, especially considering I was traveling far from home for work at the time. That is not something any customer should have to discover after the fact.
In addition to the safety issues, there were several clear signs the vehicle was not properly inspected or prepared for resale. The Bluetooth/Apple CarPlay does not function, as it is still linked to the previous owner’s phone and cannot be removed without that device being physically present. Despite spending hours attempting to resolve this, I have been unable to connect my own phone. This is something that should have been addressed before the vehicle was sold.
Additionally, the gas cap cover was not properly attached and flew off while I was driving on the highway. While cosmetic, it further underscores the lack of basic attention to detail and left the vehicle looking damaged through no fault of my own.
A few months later, the battery died, and I learned that the vehicle was still using its original battery—on a 7-year-old car sold at a very high price point. Selling a used vehicle without replacing something as basic as an aging battery feels careless at best and exploitative at worst, especially when the buyer urgently needed reliable transportation.
Purchasing a car is a major financial decision, and I expected honesty, transparency, and basic ethical standards. Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite. I would strongly caution others to be extremely careful here and to verify everything independently before signing anything.Jan 16, 2026 -
My vehicle was repaired in a good timely fashion. My only gripe is the communication. The service person didn’t return any of my calls. When I finally got him on the phone. I said I only need a time line as I need to rent a car . He said he would get back to me and let me know. He said you will need one tomorrow. I call the next day. No response. Finally , at the end of the day he responded it should be ready tomorrow. I gave my email and the car was finished the next day. Alls good.

So I bought a Camaro ZL1, site unseen, over the internet. Sales guy I worked with was nice. Customer service was great, up until I had the car delivered, then nothing. Signed the paperwork and sent it all back. Its been 4 months and I have yet to receive any documents, loan paperwork or registration from them. I have left 4 messages for someone to call me back, nothing. The sales guy I worked with said he would look into it, nothing. Maybe leaving a bad review will get some action from them...

Amber’s warm feeling and comfort towards my purchase was very reassuring. We also shared a lot in common with me personally so she fit perfectly for me. I also walked in with a great welcoming feeling in general. After my purchase, I was taught more about the features of how to maneuver my vehicle etc. They showed me around the service department and that department also made me feel very welcomed! I met everyone who I would be talking to over the phone and scheduling appointments with for future service appointments and such. Zeigler Chevrolet definitely feels like a family and cares about their customers!

I have been a loyal chevrolet woman since 1980. I had a 2015 Chevrolet Sonic that has been in another place getting fixed for over a month and a half. I needed a car that would be dependable and in my price range. When I pulled up to the dealership, I was greeted by Ted and he helped to get the people who were involved in my situation. I spoke to Chuck F, who picked out a car for me and helped me through the process. I spoke with Michael R and Rich G about my old car. Ethan McBride made the finance part of the sale very easy, understandable and explained everything. I spoke with Nick on delivery. From the moment we were greeted in the parking lot and assisted to a parking spot, we were treated like royalty. I've been to a few dealerships in my 64 years of life, but I've never been treated like I was SOMEBODY. It was not a "hurry up and give us your money" encounter at all. Everyone was courteous, friendly, and professional. Ethan, the gentleman processing our paperwork, was the model of efficiency. He made the entire process less grueling than it could have been. Don, the loan processer, was a delight. He gave us great advice on loan term decisions and even got the sales price lowered slightly to offset the price of an extended warranty we wanted. Nick, the last staff member we dealt with, (sorry, I can't remember his exact title) helped us navigate setting up the OnStar system and phone interface with the Chevy app. I'm so thankful for Nick, because this was a very involved task. He kept everything straight and was extremely courteous and patient throught the whole process. I would definitely buy a car from Zeigler Chevrolet again.
