I own a landscaping company and I had some misfiring in my engine on a Tuesday. I know these things can develop into severe issues if not handled immediately.
I asked my wife to call for an appointment and they were super busy. Since it was my work truck, I personally called and spoke to Bill and they got me in the next day.
Here’s one of the things that impressed me the most. I know that they close at 6 o’clock, but I was gonna call and leave a message at 7:30, and when I called there was an answer and when I spoke to the individual, I found out they were working on my truck after hours.
If that’s not exceptional customer service then no such service exists
Car Dr. Jr. fixed the issue, which was exactly what they had diagnosed and I was back on the road Thursday morning. I didn’t lose any time because of the graciousness that Jeff, the owner, showed in getting my truck back to me in record time. I can’t say enough about this.
They made my emergency their own emergency and got me back on the road. A+ work and, In my opinion, the invoicing For the work was more than fair.

I had a great car repair experience with Car Doctor Jr in Schaumburg! Bill and Jeff were friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. After coming from my local dealer looking to upsell me on unneeded repairs, it was a breath of fresh air to receive the care and honesty they gave me regarding a rather expensive fuel injector replacement job. Jeff conducted an outstanding pre-purchase inspection for me of a used car and caught issues that previous mechanics missed. He explained exactly what he found and made a detailed professional inspection report. He’s clearly very thorough; I’d certainly go to this shop for any repairs.

Awesome staff here. I needed a bracket put on my OBD port because emissions refused to test my car. This seemed like an easy fix, yet other shops looked at me like I was crazy when I explained what I needed done. These guys had it fixed in 20 minutes time.. (for a reasonable price too)….
I went in because the emission test facility improperly tested my car. I came in on short notice and the employee was able to check my car immediately and assure me that the obd reader was working perfectly fine. I appreciated his help very much and they seem very professional in how they take care of their customers.
Best experience ever! I brought my car in to Car Doctor to fix what another shop had screwed up on and first I was greeted by Bill and Jessica which was very nice to hear. Then the owner, Jeff checked my car, and not only was he honest, he added another quart of oil without charging me a dime. They were very friendly, professional and took their time in explaining everything to me until I understood. I will ONLY be taking my car to the CAR DOCTOR now and in the future. Update: 9/17/24. Used Car Doctor Jr. to perform a major repair to my ride. They were quick to get with my warranty company and get things sorted out. My vehicle was ready days ahead of what I expected and so far it drives as brand new. I cannot express the level of great customer service they demonstrate! The staff would call me at least twice a day and went above and beyond in explaining my extended warranty coverage. If you are wondering where to go for auto repairs, look no more, this is your stop. Very satisfied customer here, I Highly recommend!

Car Doctor is the best, not only is he the best at emissions fixing, he's a good solid guy....he always has a great attitude and never takes advantage of people. I brought my 2013 Versa there, under the assumption that it was one thing, that was going to cost me 400 (to get my check engine light to go off and pass emmissions). I brought it to the good doctor and he realized it was something else... he fixed it and was able to take it to the emissions center and get my car to pass emissions for under 200. I didn't even have to wait in line, he took it there for me. Thanks so much "Car Doctor"...you really are a "Nice Doctor"!
My wife’ SUV needed brakes and control arms and a flush of the transmission and a whole bunch of other stuff according to the dealer. I’m so busy with work that I let her do the oil change at the dealer. Then I took her 2016 Honda pilot to Jeff at Car Doctor Jr. and paid $4000 less than what the dealer was asking my wife to pay because I wasn’t sold unnecessary repairs and parts. Jeff is honest as they come. I’ll never go anywhere else.

I have to shout out to Car Doctor in Schaumburg. My battery died after pumping gas last week unexpectedly. Brad from Expert Auto Collision Repair just happened to be getting gas next to me and recommended Car Doctor because they were literally 1 minute away. Brad was also a good Samaritan as he showed us where they were located! Who bothers to HELP a total stranger these days??!! Car Doctor rep was super nice - changed bad battery in 1 hour and charged a fair price. I was very impressed with their honesty and willingness to help immediately. Hats off to Car Doctor and Brad/Auto Collision for helping this damstel in distress ! Wish there were more people like that them in this world !

Bill did a great job on helping me out. Could not pass emissions for my life. My sticker was expired since Dec2021 and could not figure out a solution. Bill took 20 min of his time and got me to pass emissions. Great guy, great shop, and will be back. Got my registration and sticker and 0 problem. He is the real deal check him out for all your car needs
Bill was an amazing rep and thoughtfully helped with my issue, can be difficult to find a reputable honest car shop that are mindful of people’s actual car situations, and ultimately that is what matters in the long run, having a great reputation. More than happy to support this business and will definitely come back soon and bring a family member’s car to get fixed. And being able to renew car registration stickers here is a plus!
Where should I start my review? First, Jeff is a highly skilled mechanic that has serviced over 20-25 different vehicles of mine since 1997. My entire family uses his services and we have never had any complaints. I really like that he listens to you as a customer and speaks directly to you. He always diagnoses the issue and then calls to let you know prior to beginning the work.
I work on my own vehicles a lot and restore vehicles as a hobby. It is really hard to drop vehicles off for someone else to work on them but I do not have time to fix daily drivers on my own. I would trust Jeff with the most complex of issues. He is honest, has integrity and best of all is one of the most knowledgeable repair men in the business. To be honest I haven’t actually had my car serviced here. However, I called them because I was having a lot of issues with my car. I don’t remember who I spoke with but he was kind enough to spend almost 20 minutes on the phone with me to explain what might be going on with my car and what a dealership would recommend versus an independent mechanic. Truly appreciated his time and honesty.
Every time i have a problem with my car I come here I'm blown away today I called for a quote 800 dollars so I called merlins just to see because there high in price they said 600 dollars then I called another place he said lower price 370 higher price 475 so omg iv been coming here every time I have a issues with my car and come to find out they were double the price of the place I'm taking it to ????? It's my own fault i should have been calling around with my car problems . Shame on them
Yesterday, I was on my way to sell my car to CarMax and after adding some gas on the way there one of my warning lights displayed on the dashboard. I was quite frustrated because I was 10 minutes away from selling my car. I stopped at the Car Doctor in Schaumburg and Jeff took the time to stop what he was doing to give my car a quick diagnosis. It turned out that it was just a minor tire sensor issue and not something with the engine which would have lowered the value of my car. He told me this issue should not reduce the appraisal value of my car. He turned out to be exactly correct because I had done an online appraisal before going to turn the car in and the physical inspection did not reduce the value I had already been quoted. Jeff didn't even charge me for the service and refused to accept any compensation when I offererd to pay him something. His reviews reveal that he has a great reputation and I can certainly say that I experienced it first hand. I would highly recommend him for any of your service needs because being fair and honest is his trademark.

My parents love this place. They say the owners are fair and don’t charge you extra for stuff you don’t need (unusual for a car dealership!) I’m in for my first oil change and everything I heard Bill say in the phone seems to be what’s best for the customer (for example, telling customers they don’t need to spend money immediately on a part but can wait a little while). He helped choose the best option oil for my car and didn’t try to upcharge. The honesty is much appreciated and hard to come by nowadays!
Edit: they’re all so nice! They keep apologizing for the long wait (they even had a special part delivered for my car). This wait is nothing compared to other places I’ve been! Very professional place.

I dropped off my work (Landscaping) dump truck to have the brakes looked at and a wiper hose replaced. Being a business owner I was about losing a day to the repairs being done. I was told I’d have it by days end. For me, losing a day means I have to double up the amount of houses that I maintain the following day.
The truck was repaired with appropriate charges that I would expect. It was ready when Jeff said it was going to be ready and all these things are of upmost importance to me. Now my big dump truck which hauls the trailer and materials is safe to drive. That benefits me and everyone else on the road.
I tell a lot of people about Car Doctor Jr. because it’s the best work and best customer service I’ve ever found. However, sometimes I think to myself, “I should keep him a secret because he’s so honest, hard-working and reliable.” But I still refer everyone who asks to “My Guy, Jeff”. Jeff and his crew are, without question, the best mechanics I’ve ever had the pleasure to have service my vehicles. I truly feel like they look after my vehicles like they’re their own. I’ll NEVER go anywhere else.
I have been bringing my vehicles to Jeff for over 16 years. He has always done right by my family. He is more than fair with his fees. Most importantly he has never, ever tried sell work our cars didn't need. In fact, quite the opposite. Having 7 kids and almost as many cars, Jeff has always helped us postpone stuff that wasn't urgent or offered alternatives to save money on a repair (used parts rather than new, etc.). I have referred many friends to Jeff who have had the same great experience.
Our family has been going here for years! Highly recommended, wonderful staff that'll always get you a fair deal for the quality work they do:) Great no hassle place to get your plate stickers too. We may have moved but I don't care where we're at, I'll have my car towed here every time. This staff goes above and beyond every time, I can't say thank you enough when 90% of my visits were stressful from my car breaking down (it was 19 yrs old) and they kept it going over 220k miles!
