Their marketing stickers that they put on cars that are parked outside leave residue that you need a razor blade to get off. This company is awful and literally defaces/vandalizes your car.
I am deeply saddened to share that my father passed away at the Asbury Courts Senior Facility. Shortly after his passing, Lee Sartin arranged for Cash For Junk Cars to tow my father’s vehicle from the premises and had it destroyed without our knowledge.
When I contacted the company, I spoke with a man named Eric Dominguez, who confirmed that they had taken the vehicle. Initially, they offered me $300 for it. I reached out multiple times for clarification, but each time I spoke to someone new who claimed to be Eric Dominguez. Unfortunately, their voices and information didn’t match, which only added to my confusion during this difficult time.
As I continued to navigate my grief, they began to avoid my calls. I sought assistance from the Des Plaines Police Department in hopes of getting clarity, and they eventually raised their offer to $500. However, they still continued to avoid my calls, leaving me feeling frustrated and helpless.
After my lawyer made a more formal attempt to reach a settlement, he received no response. It has now been a year since my father’s passing, and it hurts to know that this situation remains unresolved. I truly wish for some closure during this challenging time.

My car broke down on I-90 so I called Cash For Junk Cars Des Plaines. Pickup was prompt, especially because of the weather. I didn't have the title to give to the driver so he drove my girlfriend and I all the way to downtown Chicago to pick it up which was amazing.
