THIS REVIEW IS FOR BUSINESSES THAT DO BUSINESS WITH GENESIS. Genesis Electronics Recycling hired me as a contractor to provide Web-content services earlier this year. Over the course of a few months, I did quite a bit of work for the company’s marketing manager, Alex Ligum, who then refused to pay me despite the fact that I’d followed his instructions to the letter and he was happy with my previous work. I finally had to send the bill to collections and was paid a fraction of what they owed me. From these reviews it looks like their customers have had positive experiences, but if you're a services provider, I strongly recommend that get your money upfront every time. They'd paid me for a few projects, and that's why I trusted them to pay, but they ended up stiffing me, for no other reason than being dishonest crooks. Don't be lulled into trusting them. GET PAID IN ADVANCE EVERY TIME.
They disposed of my old IT electronics quickly, securely and hassle free. I highly recommend using Genesis for any electronics you need recycled with secure data wiping. They said none of the equipment ends up in a landfill, and I believe them. Great people and a great company.
Missed our towns electronic recycling day and was looking for somewhere that takes out of residency drop offs. This place was easy to locate and the woman at the front desk was very helpful! They charge per pound for TVs and computer monitors but will take all kind of electronics. Highly recommend you use this place next time you want to dispose of your electronics.
