As a woman, I completely approve of this place. Usually, my dad takes care of anything car-related for me, but sometimes I have to handle it on my own — and in the past, I’ve gone to places where I felt taken advantage of.
This experience was totally different. Tony was amazing! He got my oil change done during my lunch break and even filled up my tires. He was honest, respectful, and efficient.
It means a lot to know there are places where women can feel safe, respected, and not taken advantage of. I really appreciate that, and I’ll definitely be coming back.
Great experience here! Easy to make an appointment and Tony was easy to communicate with while they were working on my car. Informed me of a big problem I was having with my car and even gave me a heads up about something I’ll need to fix in the near future. They had the work done same day as promised. My car is running so smoothly now. Will definitely be back
I've been here about 4 times. I've had no issues getting my car worked on fast and no issues with traveling here. Easy to find with a big sign and pleasant workers. Peaceful atmosphere, comfortable seats, and the manager is very helpful with explaining the process. I will definitely be coming here for all my auto repairs.
Even after years of coming here, this place is still one of the best places for auto repair, I can't recommend it enough, and it's more affordable than most places I've been too.

Tony is amazing. He shoots straight and tries his best to keep prices reasonable. He modified a muffler for my car to save me $200. After 4 years, it's still doing its job. Ace Tech has done about half a dozen jobs for me, and I haven't been disappointed.

I took my car in for a complete engine replacement in addition to many other repairs. Tony was very responsive and took good care of my car from the beginning. Hopefully the car will last me many more years. So far it's looking good and if there are any problems with the repairs during the warrantee period, I'm confident that Tony will take care of it!
Took my Prius in this past winter after my catalytic converter was stolen off the bottom of the car. Tony was able to get a cheaper replacement and put a lock on it so that it couldn't be taken. When I went to the dealership for a test the other week, they said they had never seen anything like the lock and that it was incredibly creative. Even though I live out of the area now, I will drive the extra distance to take my car here. Very highly recommend.
I have to say I have found my mechanic. Tony is just AMAZING. Very straight forward, good prices, quick and professional work. I'm usually very skeptical about bringing my cars in for service, but after hearing several friends and family members speak highly of Ace Auto Repair and Tony, I decided to bring my car there a year ago. Since my first visit, I was really impressed by their work, honesty and integrity and have continued going there ever since.
I am very happy with their services and highly recommend them to many of my friends and coworkers. If you use them once, I am confident you will continue coming back.
If you want great customer service at a great price, you will find it very hard to beat Ace Tech Auto. I've been having my car serviced for years at Casey's Automotive in Palatine, which is very professional and does a very good job. However, the last time I brought my car in was to deal with cupped tires that were the result of bad shocks. Casey quoted me $2,600 for the front and back shocks and 4 tires. My brother told me about Tony at Ace Tech so I went there. And, boy am I glad I did. Tony did my back shocks with tires for $750. He said my front shocks and tires probably had another 15,000 + miles before they would need to be taken care of. So, if I do those at the same price (or roughly), I'm still looking at the total price being nearly $1,100 less than Casey's. That's a lot of money. I have been recommending Ace Tech to everyone I know and whoever has gone there has had nothing but great things to say.
Tony has been my go to guy for several years now. He has economically kept two older high mileage cars on the road for me. Always on point and there for me when i have an issue. Tony is a solid, straight shooter and you never have to look over your shoulder and wonder if you're getting ripped off. Great mechanic, prompt and very reasonable.
Tony is my favourite mechanic now. I have referred him to atleast 3 of my friends and all of them are happy. I find him to provide the best service with a decent price and no upselling.
I did my Mitsubishi transmission and brake fluid flush with the same fluid my manufacturer recommend for a price that's way below my dealer quoted.
My friend who got a advised by Firestone to replace all the brakes went to Tony and he said brakes can last another 6 months and when he is up for next oil change we can decide to change brakes or not.
Tony has been working on my vehicles for close to 5 years. From simple repairs like brakes on my Lexus GS300 and Toyota Sequoia to a complete suspension and steering rebuild on my Mercedes SL500. Tony does high quality work, takes ownership of the repairs, and stands behind his work. His rates are very reasonable and his schedule is flexible enough that I get work done when I need it. I would recommend Ace Tech to anyone needing vehicle service.

Tony has repaired for me everything from brakes, to valve cover gaskets, to timing belts to tie rods, ball joints, axels etc. He gives me options for the repairs and is honest, knowledgeable and timely. I've taken my Honda cars to Ace Tech for the past year and have not been disappointed. They have very reasonable prices and do excellent work. The owner is honest about the work that needs to be done and has integrity. I'm extremely happy I found this place. Ace tech auto surpassed my expectations! Initially I came in for an oil change and that’s exactly what I got for an awesome price, but I also had some major issues with my car prior to me visiting this shop. The owner ordered the pieces through his shop and received them in just 2 days. He replaced both control arms and I also received a courtesy service; all of which were done for AN UNBEATABLE PRICE, especially for a Mercedes Benz . I’m so appreciative of the ace tech auto team! I would highly recommend them. THANK YOU AGAIN! Be back in a few months for an oil change.
Went to this place because my nephew recommended it and was hesitant at first. Honestly, it's hard to find an honest mechanic and of course, someone that fits the bill. And let me tell you, my experience was wonderful. No scam, no pressure. Tony was so helpful and give us suggestions. Some mechanic don't bother fixing my 1988 Chevy but he took good care of it. Now, I don't care driving all the way to this place. Tony is the Man !!.. Hands down...
