Went to go get some parts for my car. They're out of business there's a bunch of for sale signs everywhere. Site says they're open And their phone is disconnected Don't go here ever for parts.
If I could put a no star that be equivalent to how business like these people run their operations,very unsatisfied and don't appreciate being lied to either my grandpa use to say your only as good as your word
I’ve been calling for a rear end for almost a week, everytime I call they tell me they’ll give me a call back and never do, I showed up there the person at the front desk was rude seemed like he had no customer service whatsoever but tells me it’ll be out today, I called the next day and they tell me they can’t get it to me. Wouldn’t recommend going here for anything they’re not any help.
Not even one star! Asshole said he would call me right back with an eta when the tow would be there, after I waited in the cold for an hour. Never showed up and ghosted my calls. Now I have to pay an extra $300. I could have had another company come and get it. How do you do that to someone. Horrible horrible horrible!
I have conducted business with Peter and his family for many years, and I cannot express enough positive feedback about them. They dedicate time to listen attentively and then respond with exceptional care. Their expertise in all aspects of automotive knowledge is flawless, and I wholeheartedly trust them for all my auto parts and salvage requirements.
Must place order for parts. They never have anything pulled. Then they get mad and claim to toss the part if you don't pick it up on their time. Good pricing but bad customer service.
This place understands great customer service. While they didn't have the part I needed, they actually checked their system and find an alternate junk yard in another city that did. Now that's service! Way to go above and beyond.
I found this unto part store on EBay, so I sent the owner a message about a part that my husband needed for his truck. So the next day, someone there emailed me back.. so I had my husband to call him, he did and he asked the guy did he have a Rear Drive Shaft 2WD for a 1998. The guy said yes, and that he will call us back to see if the part was still on the truck. He called back a few minutes later and said he had a two piece Drive Shaft, so my husband asked him will it fit, he told him yes. So my husband told him we will come to pick it up. But we had to pay for it online first. Which we did. My husband also told him we are a hour away. So we drove all the way out there just to be disappointed. When my husband went inside and told them he was coming to get the part. A different worker told my husband, that.. the two piece drive shaft will not fit. Smh so sad. That most ppl who works in Auto Parts doesn’t know to much. My husband truck needs a one piece. Make sure you ask someone who knows more about cars and the parts. It was a waste of our time, money and gas.
Waste of time very unprofessional i called snd asked for a 2008 nissan quest windshield they said 100 bucks and a day to pull i call the very next day to see if they had a filler neck off of the same vehicle windshield was coming out of i was then told they didnt even have a Nissan quest...wow lol
Rude service when first came in. Just when in yesterday and stood there as everybody walked around us and wasn't helped for 15 minutes. Ended up leaving because it was clear nobody was going to help us. Went in again today to get the check for my junked car and instantly was greeting with a rude question about the phone number I put down to call because they couldnt read it apparently. Even though they called correctly and I just missed it and called back not even 15 minutes after I missed it. Also tried to give me a check for $85 instead of the $100 I was told I was going to get over the phone. Definitely tried to screw me over. Never EVER going back. Get that it's an auto shop so customer service isn't top priority, but seriously it is so unnecessary to just be blatantly rude. You have to have some sort of customer service to keep your business running.
Only 3 Days from Order to Receiving the parts on multiple occasions. Had one questionable situation that THIS company went out of their way to resolve for me. You Guys Have truly earned my business. If you've got the part then I will be trading with YOU! Many THANKs
All the reviews are correct about this place being a sham and shoddy customer service - (If I was able to give ZERO STARS I would) - Purchased an engine from them on ebay and their freight company lied about me telling them to deliver on a certain date when I specifically called them to tell them I would be out of town until said date and they told me to call them when i got back. WELL... got no help from the wonder seller here at JAP. What I did get was a bunch of BS and JAP told the freight company to send the motor back to them from TX to IL. The seller thought he was going to charge me for the shipping both ways but he was severely mistaken - PAYPAL of course refunded me the funds in full - and the seller was responsible for the shipping to me which was 193.00 and the shipping back to him which who knows what the dollar amount was... IF JAP was so customer service oriented and provided honest reliable parts - then why would the seller not have tried to communicate and see if we could work something out that would have been the least cost to both of us. Instead he accused me of setting an appt up which I wouldn't have done because I had contacted the shipper and told them I would be out of town said days and then failed or ignored my responses and while I waited (an entire day) behind my back the same morning had the shipper return the engine to him. He failed to communicate with me at all telling me what the resolution could or would be - did not even have the courtesy to tell me that he had directed the freight company to return the engine to him... I contacted the freight company and got that information from them.... DUMB MOVE and a COSTLY ONE TOO!!! -- The seller did not even try to work with me or even offer suggestions to get this issue resolved. I offered to go pick up the item from the freight company terminal - they told him it would cost 89.00 to pick up the item - which is a bunch of BS....The seller is obviously not capable of working out issues with customers and did not do his due diligence to have the freight company fix their mistake - I would have even offered out of goodwill to possibly pay half of the pickup costs so the seller wouldn't have to bear the expense of shipping both ways. But instead he chose the sneaky way about it.. ignored the customer... had the heavy engine sent back to him, and in the long run - he ended up with almost 400.00 in extra expenses (shipping, paypal and ebay fees) and had to refund me the 560.00 paid for the ebay auction. Lastly, to continue his shady practices and lies - he leaves a response to my feedback that is backed full of untruths and does show that he is not to be trusted - SO BEWARE purchasing anything from Junction Auto Parts -- IT could cost ya!! - Fortunately for me - I was able to avoid this by proper documentation and calling his lack of customer service to the forefront - I hope this helps further peeps from having to deal with this type of BS and will prevent you from getting bad parts from this bad business....
Hands down, best salvage yard from Madison to Chicago. Low prices, quality parts, and staff were friendly and helpful. I honestly can't say that about ANY of 10 - 20 other places I called looking for parts. Everywhere else I called was rude *and* more expensive on the rare occasion they could be 'bothered' to confirm the color and grade of the parts I wanted.
Junction is absolutely a place I will be back to in the future.
This was my first time here and delt with Dave who was very knowledgeable and a big help. Would recommend this place to others and I will be returning.
Found possible replacement parts on their eBay store and called the directly to see about making a modified purchase (only interested in specific parts of the item listed on eBay)
Shipped was excellent (had them the next day).
The parts ended up not working, so I contacted them to check on returns. I spoke to Dave and he provided excellent service.
I was a little hesitant based on the google reviews for this place, but I would definitely buy from these guys again with no fears whatsoever. Also, Dave is awesome.
The owner Pete is the worlds biggest hypocrite....he hands out Holy communion at local hospital claims to be such a holy man but yet if your truck has a flat tire in the parking lot of this business he will tell you to get the heck out. Lol the Irony people !! where is your car suppose to go with a flat tire??? I am at a junk yard where else can I go. Its not like he can tell me nicely to go screw off lol it comes with threats like I I'll get that car impounded, ill have the local sheriff come tow it. DO NOT SHOP THERE
