The BEST hotsprings i have ever been been to!!! Would definitely recommend as a family trip, big pool that is pretty warm, almost a hot tub. Very kid friendly

This is a family friendly getaway! I grew up going here, and we recently took our family of 8 for a mini getaway in December along with some friends. The roads had recently been plowed, and we came during snowstorm. The rooms were VERY cozy, rustic and we felt welcomed by the couple who own the place. We will be back again to enjoy the springs!

We've been running 2 days straight exposed to elements and they were nice enough to make us pizza and lasagna.

We arrived early, were allowed to go to our room (although, we were prepared to wait). Were given the biggest room in the hotel (5 beds), there were only 3 of us, my husband, myself and our grandson. The rooms are mediocre, you can see the age in them. The plug in the bathroom did not work, had to use a plug by the front door to charge phones AND curl my hair. The pool was full (and I mean FULL) of algae, my grandson and I cleaned some of it out while he swam. Got up at 5 the next morning, my husband waited until 6 to try to get some coffee. The office was locked, one of the owners came to the door and basically said it was too early and the coffee was not on yet. A couple of hours later, I took my g-son to swim and was told that the coffee was on. I grabbed close to the last bit from the pot, was told they would start another so I text my husband that coffee was on. Half an hour later, he came for coffee... there was NOT a fresh pot and he accepted the dregs from the bottom (with grounds). Before we left, about an hour later, he went for more coffee with his personal coffee cup and was met with "you're not going to FILL that up, are you". Mind you, it was NOT a large cup. To top it off, we were billed a tip on our final bill that put our bill OVER $300! (They tipped themselves over $30 with absolutely NO services provided!) All that for 1 night, for 3 people and I didn't even have a second cup of coffee! We did go down the road for breakfast (to another establishment) and another cup of coffee. I had been to Red River Hot Springs many times over the years, as had my family (my parents honeymooned there in the 50's). But this will be my LAST stay there which makes me sad...

Beautiful location new owners are making improvements and we are excited to see what they do! We have stayed there several times and they were so accommodating to our group made us dinner and breakfast. Lost stop on over a 900 mile ride with side by sides was the perfect location with a wonderful soak in the hot pools!

The facility is rustic and relaxed. Under new management. It cost $12 for general admission, $10 for senior and veterans. $8 for kids under 12 years, children under 4 are free. Beautiful lodge rooms and comfortable cabins.

Wonderful. Thier daily rate with no in and out is a little high and camping fee is outrages ($66 plus tax for 3 to dry tent camp, $15 for each additional in same campsite)

Red River Hot Springs has been one of my favorite places since I was a kid. Now, since my husband and I have a cabin nearby as well, it’s one of our kid’s favorite places to visit. We’ve stayed in the cabins, swam for the day lots, and even gone to a wedding up there. The most recent owners make soap, candles and all sorts of cool little things. If you’re looking for a nice place to stay, with hardly any people around most of the time, or a place to take the family swimming/soak in the hot tubs, Red River Hot Springs is place you’ll want to check out at least once in your life.

This is such a lovely spot to unplug for a few days. My family and I got a cabin and while they are a bit rustic it suited our needs wonderfully. The people were sweet and honest with us about a loft being warmer due to the heat rising in the cabin before we ever booked it which I very much appreciate! The pool and tubs were great to soak in, no disappointments. I can’t speak for the food since we brought our own but it smelled amazing when they were serving it in the lobby. No cell service for us and no internet at the cabins provided the much wanted getaway we were looking for! Everything was just what we hoped for. We will definitely stay again?

We were looking for a high mountain rustic 2 night getaway for Valentine's Day. Their location is awesome however management is very poor. When we arrived the parking lot and driveway needed plowed along w/ the steps being shoveled into the resort. The women's bathroom needed soap n 1 stall needed toilet paper.(Was not replaced during our stay) The public showers were frozen up, the neat wooden tubs had gross floating debree. (This was NOT minerals) Beside having to shovel our own path to the cabin and having to make our own bed, (mattress and box spring was 1980's technology) Our cabin had propane heat- which my husband woke with a heavy head. He checked his oxygen level with his watch and it was low. He had a red face when he woke. This was dangerous, he had carbon monoxide poisoning. We decided to check out for our safety, asked for a refund for the second night and was denied. She argued with us about the heater working just fine, when we mentioned there was no carbon monoxide detector (we deliberately searched for one) she was adamant there was one. This "resort" has real potential however needs management and a lot of maintenance. Sadly we will not be going back.

This is not a fancy resort, nor is it meant to be. Perfectly imperfect! Loved the rustic barrel hot tubs, pools were clean, water temps were perfect. Lovely location. Small bathroom, not conducive for changing but ample room in the changing / shower rooms poolside. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will def return!

The owners were really amazing. My boyfriend and I wanted to book here for our anniversary and they let us know they accidentally overbooked and helped us find other accommodations, but still let us use their hot springs. The lounge was nice and warm, and the tubs were hot enough for me and the pool was the perfect temp for my boyfriend. The place is set in the woods which are just beautiful and we really liked that it was in the middle of nowhere. I highly recommend staying here, I know we'll be back.

Camping near Elk City and heard about Red River Hot Springs so we decided to go for a soak and relax. The drive to the springs is mostly paved until you turn off Red River road. A wide and well maintained gravel road leads you to the springs. The springs was terrific and the service was exceptionally. Bathrooms are clean and the pool water was perfect. Will stop by again.

Great hot springs in the middle of nowhere! ♨️ The hot pool is ?, the main pool was 98 near the source on the surface and two others that were running approximately 102. Love the wooden plunges! Little slimy feeling, but it's a hotsprings and the cleaning of wood without destroying it would be difficult! Cabin number 5 is the one my friend and I stayed in and it was in process of renovation, the inside was mostly done clean fresh inside with two queen beds and still working on the outside. No power or facilities in the cabin, never bothers me.. they did have to find lanterns that they said were in the cabins. #naturelover #travelgram #hotsprings #relaxation #hotspringssam #hotspringslife #hotspringsbuddy #ultimatehotspringsadventures

Have really enjoyed our stays here. The saying happiness is homemade comes to mind when pulling up, but doesn’t at all distract from the experience. The host are very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

Disregard the poor reviews. Haters gonna hate. This place is remote in central Idaho. I think some reviewers were expecting a gucci experience. Go to Quinn’s in MT and spend 3-4x the $. I loved my stay. Would/will go back. Owners are great

This place is a dump, don’t waste your money. Garbage around the pool, building materials laying around the half finished projects. Pool hoses everywhere. A broken fence board with nails sticking up on the deck. Algae in all the tubs and pool. Room was decent but hot. No AC and unable to open a window since there was no screen and the place was swarming with sweat bees. We burned our second night cost to get out of there.

Beautiful remote hot spring that we really enjoyed! It's not a fancy place. Recommend bringing your own food and microwaving it - the owner makes food in house but only certain days and hours, better to be safe. Knocking off one star only for the religious comments. The owner was friendly but also made some comments, and asked if we were married (I was there with my bf, no we aren't), then said something about how there's multiple beds in the room so we can sleep separately. Don't push your religious beliefs on guests.

We had to jump out to Dixie on a work trip and did not anticipate being so rural. Luckily, the owners are the kindest people! We got back to the hotel around 8pm and didn’t realize that there was nothing around for food. The owner helped us out and made us some food! Awesome service, awesome location if you’re in the area! Hopefully I can come back on vacation to enjoy the hot springs!

I've been wanting to come here for years and it didn't disappoint! The owners were super friendly and had a last minute room available for us. The room was cozy and clean and the pools were hot.

This place is an absolute gem. The family that owns and runs it is wonderful. Feels truly Idaho: historic and rustic. Breakfast burritos are epic. I've gone well out of my way to stay the night here, and will do so again.

Very friendly family runs this hidden gem. We have made 2 trips here last year. They are making improvements fast. They tiled one of their shower rooms and will be doing the same to the rest. Can't wait to get back and soak with our kids in February!

My friend and I had such a great time staying here. The views along the drive and around the area are amazing. There is a family style environment. The cabins are rustic and cozy. The meals are home-made, delicious with large portions. I would highly recommend staying here.

We were a little disappointed, the place looks ran down, the pool is dirty, the soaker tubs are green and slimy. The room was clean and comfortable, however there were people above us rough housing and banging around late at night. The tables in the lobby were occupied by kids that live there, just hanging out and we had to ask if we could sit down to eat. The food was good though.Don’t think I would go back

This is such an awesome getaway spot! It is located deep in the mountains. The scenery is beautiful! The family that owns it are very sweet and welcoming. They were very accommodating and made me feel like family. The big hot pool is the perfect temperature but they also have several other pools that are different temperatures. They keep the lodge, pool area, and camping areas very clean.

Absolutely amazing place. The pool is gorgeous and perfectly warm. The hot tubs range from pretty warm to darn hot, but you can easily move between them to find the right one for you. We had some bacon burgers and fries that were delicious, plus they bring them out to you. We accidentally got our small kia stuck turning around in a spot we shouldn't have driven on to. The owner was extremely polite and helped us pull our car out with his little bulldozer. He even got us a hose to rinse off some of the mud. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes warm water and good food.

The owners/managers, Tanya and John, are wonderful hosts. We stayed one night in the rustic cabin and really enjoyed it! Tanya’s cooking is awesome and the portions are large. The main pool is impressively big and deep (there’s a shallow end too), and we found the three hot tubs to be the perfect temperature. We felt fortunate because we stayed there a Thursday night, and the place wasn’t very busy that night or the next morning, so using the pool and hot tubs was very pleasant.

Went to Red River Hot springs and found very friendly people running it. The owners took time to show us around including taking us on a tour of the various lodging rooms upon our request. The rooms looked great including a very large one you could easily book for 10 people. We sat in the Hot spring and it was glorious!!! Ordered lunch off of a fairly large menu and were pleasantly surprised with how tasty the food was. Definitely heading back soon to stay the night...top notch.
