Cool place to walk around and look at the old cars but if you want parts don't waste your time to drive up there I wanted a few small pieces of chrome Trim and a hood hinge on eBay I could get it all for about $100 he wanted $250
Called this place a few times with no return call back. After reading all the reviews I can see why. I guess the people are rude and overcharge for everything. If I could give them no stars, that's they would get. Don't waste your time with this company. Go to Summit Racing in Ohio if you need replacement parts.
I was in market for a new car so I come here . Turns out they do not sell full working car here. I look for a long time but they do not sell new cars, only old broken car.
Most car do not work, it is only pieces of cars in pile. Some very broken and no working. It make me sad to see. It was still a very nice place for used car part, and if you want to buy broken car. But they have good parts.
I look for 3 hours in the yard for a working car. Some of them look crush and broken. I will come back maybe to see if I can buy tire off broken car . ?
Purchased both of my old Fords from Jessie and the gang. Friendly staff and tons of selections. Sometimes I walk around the yard to blow off steam and browse. There’s SO MUCH to look at. And it’s ALL for sale. 10/10 recommend
Have yet to actually go through the yard area but very excited to do so. Perhaps to get a project vehicle for just that, a project of thousands of possibilities.
Called them about some parts for a 72 GTS. They said they have many of them. I was terribly excited and could not sleep. On a trip from Minnesota where everything that age is long gone I thought I was dreaming. Turns out I was. They did have everything and I spent 3 hours pulling parts and carting them many acres back to the office. Only to leave with one 200 dollar inner wheel well. Bring your gold and someone else's.
A lot of people complain about prices but simply do not understand the reality. This is a small family owned business. Supply for the parts is extremely low. Buying “new” parts online is not the same as finding true genuine factory parts. The price for the parts match the value of them. They have done their best for years to expand the vehicle inventory. There is a strong chance that they have at least one of every part for any vehicle from the 50s-60s era.
A lot of people question how this place stays in business. The answer is that they hardly do. This place goes up for sale every couple of years, with no buyers. The current owner is further along in life, is ready to step down. If a new owner comes along, this place will turn into the restoration honey hole. They just need a good marketing strategy to drive up demand, and their prices will be able to go down. But for now, they gotta do what they gotta do!
If no new owners come along before the current owner steps down all-together, all of these vehicles will be separated & dispersed through auction. For this place to close down may just mean the end of true genuine classic remodels.
Total RIP off on prices they string you along with a bunch of xcuses owner is 80 years old dosnt give a damm. They never come thru on anything. Stroked me for rwo weeks for nothing. Waist of time
Great place to check out cool old cars and trucks, NOT a good place too buy parts though. WAY to expensive to be practical, but they don't care of you buy or not.
Be very careful with buying cars from them had a car I was gonna purchase from them came out the next day to find the car missing all interior items and trunk items and multiple emblems missing their prices are outrageous and high how this places survives is beyond me
Helped me get so cherokee parts for what I consider a good price so thank you and they treated me nice this yard is also massive there tons of treasures in here
Two tires blew on our car pulling a camper just outside Wendell Idaho. Jesse was amazing coordinating not only our pick up from the interstate but a place to camp for the night and ordering new tires. Thank you!!
The staff is very friendly! If you are looking for something that is no longer in production they likely have it. That being said you are most definitely paying above top dollar for it. No negotiation. This place is an awesome museum, they have amassed quite the collection. With the prices as high as they are it will only ever be someone’s collection.
My advice to whoever reads this is if you have a common classic vehicle with strong aftermarket support, order a remanufactured panel. At least that way you don’t get ripped off for a 65 year old piece of metal that’s been cooking in the desert since God knows when. Bodywork is a lot easier when your not also fixing rust.
Useful for museum value, I suppose, but useless to try to buy something. Had hoped the internet was just being cruel with their reviews, but I can't even attest to the prices being overinflated, since I couldn't even ~get~ a price. Seriously disappointed, especially after dragging a trailer for 800 miles, just to leave empty handed since nobody there is capable of setting a sales price!
10000 cars, 160 acres of rocky, difficult terrain that you're forced to walk. It's my assumption that you're either young enough to endure that level of adventure, or old enough to be able to afford their stuff. I'm guessing they don't get many who are "both"
The yard is very impressive, there is an abundance of great vehicles and parts. Unfortunately, the people negatively overshadow any good. They all seem very rude, and all the parts I inquired about were priced more than new... yes, old parts in a junk yard, costing more than new.
Don't waste your time here if you need parts!!!! if you just feel like walking around and checking it out go for it I drove almost 3hrs off my route just to come to l&l waited hours to hear from the owner that didn't call until an hour after closing just to be told some outrageous prices on parts that weren't even in that great of condition I got a couple small items even though it was way over priced but I figured I came all this way im not leaving empty handed! 🖕L&L
... if your looking for a part that you'll never find these guys probably have it... there's miles and miles of parts... you can't see the yard in one day... more like 4or5 days... just say'n... you pay for unfound parts but get what you pay for.... high five to the team at L&L CLASSIC'S .... I'LL BE BACK
Took 2 days to get an answer on a k member. Way way overpriced I'll never ever call them again .I can get a brand new after market one for that much lol ridiculous .not even a one rating
Well this place is awesome, not always the fastest, but it’s understandable when you see all the people there. They always have what I need and are quick to answer any questions I have. The gentleman that manages the establishment has a great respect for the owner therefore, doesn’t want to screw him by selling his parts for cheap. If you want parts here, be patient and understanding. Always a happy customer here !!!
If you want to waste your time go here. The guy in charge is Incompetent he is unable to price anything without a response from the owner who isn’t there. Waited 2 1/2 hours. Drove a total of 160 miles for nothing even though they had what I needed. Also prices are pretty far off for a junkyard. Expect to pay upwards of $400 for a tail gate. However if you are a tv series producer go for it. Probably the next Tiger King series in the making within this place. Bummed that I will never go there again.
I was traveling through Idaho on my way to Utah today and I hit a deer and totaled my car. A tow truck driver named Jesse showed up and hauled me & my car to a town called Wendell. He was very friendly and had an all-around positive attitude, I was so impressed. I just want to say thank you to this gentleman for his professionalism and great customer service that he provided to me. I don’t know who owns L&L Classic Auto but how lucky this owner is to have such a great guy like Jesse who knows how to help a customer who just got into an accident feel like his best customer. Went in to buy a Pontiac 455 engine, waited 40 min for the boss because the other workers don’t know anything about what’s for sale. Then while waiting one of the employees decided to tell a long story about how he picks up cars all the time and sometimes they have drugs in them... needless to say after 40 long miserable minutes Larry and his lackey boy showed up after introducing ourselves we asked a couple questions and was rudely cut off and told to “shush” and wait a minute.... that pushed my button pretty hard I highly recommend searching for parts and cars you need rather than dealing with these crooks/druggies....
This place Is the worst. Their prices are so high you might as well save money and buy a new car. They treat you and try to talk to you as if you don’t know as thing. Save your time and energy don’t go there you will be disappointed.
Ordered a set of 1979 Subaru Taillights through them, arrived within 48 hours and are in awesome shape.

Went There The other day, Guys have Every old Domestic part you will ever need, But These guys are a two over-priced, Non-customer service oriented Country Bumkins You will ever meet, Place looks like something out of Mad Max, Wasps attack you the whole time there and When you get to asking them what they want for the part They both give you different answers and them sticking to the ridiculously priced one..so if you want to deal with a couple of Bumkins with absolutely No Ambition to sell Anything and want to pay 1/3 to 1/2 over market value, This is the place for you!!!
