I had a flat on my trailer when I got to North American recycling on customer appreciation day and they were very apt to help me lift my trailers so I could change the tire. They're very nice people. They have very good prices and they're very dog friendly.

Great place. Everyone was helpful as I was a firsttimer. Even on the busiest day of the year I was in and out in 15min. They were happy I was there as a customer, very rare these days.. well be back!

I started coming here a few years back. The reasons 1) these folks post their prices where everyone can see: 2, They've always been courteous, and willing to help me unload and 3, I got jammed up in traffic today & by the time I finally got here it was 10 minutes to 5pm. They guys weren't grumpy w/me, helped me unload and even made sure to sort out my metals so I could get the best price as well as thanked me for coming in. Who does that anymore. Most places would have thrown everything in 1 pile while giving me the dagger look, that is if I didnt get told I was to late. Thanks guys I really appreciate the service!!!

I normally don't write reviews but as a small business owner I have learned how important it is. I own a small junk removal service and recently had the pleasure of working with your team. I came in with a very 15 cubic yard trailer full of various metals, including two refrigerators. I did not know at the time that you guys could not take them without proper paperwork. No problem though. The guy running the big claw said dump it. I did. He then, with extreme skill selected the two refrigerators out of the pile and carefully put them back in my trailer. He then advised that he would have the gal at the desk give me a place to take them. I then went inside where I was met with the always smiling and friendly front desk gal. She quickly processed my payment and gave me directions to Appliance King. I asked about a small pile of copper wire I had and she asked if it would fit in a shopping cart. I advised it would. She then got on the radio and called another guy who brought out a shopping cart for me. He would not let me push it. He brought it out to my truck, collected the wire and pushed it back. Also asked me, "is there anything else we can do for you". I don't know what you guys are doing there but your employees on this day were exceptional. Looking forward to coming back.

Have used these guys repeatedly for many years. Our business has a few trailer loads a year of scrap. Pulled in today with a trailer load of mostly clean aluminum, probably two or three hundred pounds with a small amount of dirty but mostly mixed cast, extruded and sheet. The guy comes out and says he's not sorting it out and is going to just give me the dirty price for all of it. BIG price difference between the two so I left with my load and won't be back. In the past the guys were not only willing to sort out the different types of aluminum but would pull the copper, motors and other more valuable metals out of my tin and iron without even being asked to give us the best price and keep our business! We don't really recycle for the money but it's nice to have a few dollars to buy donuts or lunch for employees once in a while. If he was too busy I would have come back at a different time but it seemed like any other time would be just as big of a bother to him.

I ripped all the aluminum sheeting off a broken trailer and instead of spending $5 bucks i got $20 for dropping it here all the guys in the yard were friendly and quick i wish i could shout them out specifically but didn't catch any names. The woman at the desk also redirected me to other recycling centers for wood. How helpful amiright?

This is the place you want to go to recycle anything this place will take. They made my visit super easy and super fast. They were helpful up front in the office getting me started and the employees in back made it even easier from there. They basically did it all for me, then even gave me tips on how to make more money off of my recycled metals. When they say they pay top dollar they truly do . I went on a Saturday to try to recycle at another facility and I honestly left laughing at the prices they were trying to pay me. the prices and service from american recycling are worth the wait.

These guys put United Metals to shame. Their webpage design is beautiful and navigable and at the yard they have a way of doing things that inspires confidence rather than skepticism and they manage to pay better for scrap than elsewhere. And yes it is disappointing that they aren't open on Saturdays but that just means the owners care about their employees more than making an extra buck.

Great folks to deal with, and best paying in the valley for metals. Always courteous and friendly, and willing to help unload. I have been a customer for a few years and wouldn't go anywhere else to recycle my HVAC scrap.
