My family and I went there today 3/7/26 6 adults and 4 kids for my special needs cousin’s birthday. when we arrived there was a few people we waited not very long we were trying to find out who we had to pay for and who had to wear swimmers and what not, the gentleman behind the counter (Guy we found out later is his name) was super rude as we were trying to figure out what was what (no one was behind us) so bad that 2 of adults would not swim because they would not be giving their money to someone that treats and talks to customers that way. But they stayed for my cousin. The pool was big which was nice but the amount of chlorine in there pretty much over powered the minerals that heal (so really it was just a big hot pool not a the healing water we had hoped for. But we stayed (mostly because I was trying to make my cousins birthday special and happy) The bathroom and changing rooms very small, out dated, honestly filthy, dirty diaper in one of the changing stalls. Just over all gross. But here’s really where things went south Guy was back by the basketball hoops and my 11 yr old Grandson was sitting in the edge of the deepest end of the pool with his feet in the water I think it’s 8’ deep and my Grandson was playing with a squirt gun thing and he tried to shoot me but got both me and Guy. I told my Grandson to be careful and watch where he’s aiming. Guy then walked passed me and as he walked past my Grandson he pushed him into the water (my Grandson can’t swim doggie paddle only) that’s why he only had his feet in the water. Of course we all said something because we were right there. He didn’t even acknowledge That we had said something, he just kept walking to the counter. First off don’t be touching other people’s kids period ! Second off You’re lucky he didn’t hit his head or any one of us had to jump in not that we wouldn’t have, but it definitely wouldn’t have been expected. it was bad enough for another person that was right there to also say something, and that person wasn’t even with our group of people. We decided then that it was best to leave due to the fact that this gentleman thought he could do whatever he wanted! As we were leaving an older woman, I believe she is the owner Was now at the front desk and my daughter-in-law and son explained to her what happened and she basically dismissed them. Until my son said this is technically a battery and we can get the cops involved. That’s when she asked for them to write their name and number down I’m not really sure what for but she did ask them to write down Their name and number. My cousin was so upset. He cried for 5 minutes in the parking lot as we were leaving. I had to get him back together before I could drive back to Boise. I definitely won’t be back. It’s sad because we’ve been going there for decades. I went when I was a kid and I brought my kids, and we stop at this visit with the Grandkids

Was my first time visiting this place. The price was decent. The pool was nice, but a little too hot for my liking. I enjoyed the soak I just wish I could have sat longer in the water before I had to get out to cool off. The changing room was good, just wish the showers would have worked a little bit better. But they got the job done.

I was extremely uncomfortable with my experience at this hot springs and would not recommend it, especially for families or anyone bringing children. There were no waivers or liability forms provided when we arrived, which immediately raised concerns for me. I was surprised that we were allowed to enter without being asked to acknowledge any safety rules or risks. Given that hot springs can involve slippery surfaces, hot water, and other hazards, this felt irresponsible and unsafe. There also didn’t appear to be any clear safety protocols or staff monitoring in place. A place like this should prioritize guest safety above everything else, and in my experience, that simply was not happening here. I won’t be returning and I would strongly urge families to think twice before visiting.

Feel like I should answer a few things as someone that has been going since I was a kid! It’s a wonderful family that owns it and it has stayed in the family since it’s inception. Water temp can vary because it is naturally fed by the spring but is usually around 100 degrees. They can’t control the ambient temperature outside so that can vary. Floors are crazy slippery! I got yelled at all the time when I was a kid and didn’t take it seriously until I fell. Not much can be done with wet floors. Food options consist of drinks, candy, and snacks but outside food is welcomed (just not in the water itself). People with disabilities swim for free, they do allow dogs now (on a leash or in an enclosure), and admission price covers the entire day. Accessibly: there is an entrance around back for those that have wheelchairs or difficulty with steps. You can park around back and there is a sign to tell you what door to go through. If you have need of a changing area that can accommodate family members, they can usually figure something out for ya..Bathrooms are not designed for wheelchairs but you can ask a lifeguard to stand watch if you need privacy. It’s cheap, it’s fun, it’s simple. Go swim and create some lifetime memories of an Idaho staple! This new year is a big one for this wonderful establishment. Ps. The thing about the cats…I’m happy to report that the vet visits were a wonderful success! Just keep the dogs on a leash!

It's an old historic site and the water is great, but it needs some serious improvements

I love going to Givens, my friends and I have always had a wonderful experience. I love that the pool is deep enough to really swim, while also providing a shallow spot for younger swimmers to be safe. The staff has always been kind and helpful to us.

Staff was nice pool temperature was quite warm. Price went up to $12 each Could use more cleaning in the bathrooms and wall soap dispensers to shower with instead of used bar soap.

We camped 1 night. I was disappointed that they don’t offer WIFI, especially since they have it in the building. I was also disappointed that the inside bathroom/showers are only available during business hours. There is also a large colony of cats that lives on the property, some are sick & need veterinary care. At night you will use a porta potty in the back of the building. The land could use some care, there’s quite a bit of trash around the back of the building where the porta potty is. Overall it’s a place to camp if you are driving through, but wish we would have known these things before choosing it. No cell phone reception there either.

This was a 3 star review before I asked about pricing for a soak before noon, as in a morning soak before leaving the campground, was told it is a 200$ fee for pre hours soak. Even for 1 person, that is staying the night. For the price and inconvenience of not having an indoor bathroom after 9pm, one would think that you would have paid enough for a morning soak before hitting the road. Asinine. WHAT THE EVER LOVING HELL?!! NO WONDER THIS PLACE IS DEAD. While I have always enjoyed this Lil getaway, there are a couple things that I find note-worthy; the pool is so much nicer without the roof, the showers could stand to have the temp brought down (or at least adjustable, it is scalding, at female shower HOT), and if you camp overnight, it would be stellar if the pool was available for a morning soak before departure, 30$ for a single camper. Seeing as the facility opens at noon, it is NOT accommodating for early travelers and overnighters that want a morning soak to ease the weary bones. More early and late accommodating hours, especially in the full summer days, would not only boost profit margins, but bring a more consistent clientele. All said, the grounds are clean, ( minus the ONE, FULL PORTA-JOHN, had to drive 3 miles to use Bernards Landing bathroom) they rent swim wear if you forgot yours, a snack station and undesignated camping spots, some with firepits. Lots of trees for shade and pleasant service. All in all a decent getaway. Overall, NOT WORTH THE MONEY FOR WHAT YOU GET. Better off going to Miracle Hot Springs for your money and privacy. There are also about 20 cats on the property.

I've brought groups of 20 in and I've come with the kids. Worth every penny you spend but don't expect the Ritz. Fun place easy access can get busy but typically we find a lot of room to play.

Freaking LOVE THIS PLACE ‼️❤️ Absolutely fabulous warm, and soothing waters!!! The 3rd picture is accurate, no top over the pool, open air, which lends itself to the Warm Springs experience!!! Wonderful staff. The dressing room area is meh, could use some dressing up, but the cost of admission makes it all worth it. It was also closed for many years, so I’m so grateful ?? I discovered them and they opened while I was still in-state! EXCELLENT VALUE!!! ✨ HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Givens hot springs is a fantastic local treasure. The pool itself was clean. The facilities are rustic and dated and that is it's charm. It is not a hot springs resort. It is a great local hot spring swimming pool.

The water is amazing. Great place to bring the kids. There is a small park out back and picnic tables. Very clean but the dressing rooms have a smell not super bad but noticeable. My husband says if you’re a man be prepared to be grossed out by the men’s bathroom stalls poop on the walls of the stalls and the toilet didn’t seem to flush he stated. Other wise a great time went on a Saturday and it wasn’t overly crowded.

Definitely worth the $12 to soak. It was clean, and I like that there is no roof anymore. I wish there was seating lining the interior of the pool — something to sit and relax on, especially in the deep end. Everyone was crowding the shallow end and wading pool, where there are tons of little kids playing around. I’d also be super interested in a dedicated time for adults only soaking so that it can be a much more quiet and serene soaking experience. I’d like to try an evening or mid-week soak to see if it is a calmer experience. Still, I’ll go back for the benefits of a hot spring mineral soak from time to time. Maybe I’ll bring a noodle to sit on next time, too.

I am glad this business bounce back after the roof collapsed, but unfortunately we did not have a good experience. When we visited and paid 36 dollars for our family of four, we ended up leaving after 30 minutes. The pool had so many people there was no ability to swim. The only place to be without touching other people was in the 8 foot section of the pool, which didn’t work for our small children. To top it off, the pool was dirty. There was a lot of hair that we kept pulling off us and other pieces of trash floating in the pool. I’m sure this could be a nice place on a day when it isn’t so busy, but we felt like we wasted our time and money.

I’ve been coming here since I was a little kid, not often, but consistently. I love the open air they have now instead of a roof. The mildew type smells that could bother folks before I didn’t smell at all, I think in part because of the open air! The staff working last night, Bubba, was awesome. Great water temp for every comfort level, just moving around to a hotter or cooler area. The only thing that could be better is having more sitting spots in the water, since the stairs often get sat on and filled up quickly!

I’ve always loved Givens and was really sad to hear about the roof collapse. Growing up in Idaho, it’s always been a special place for me. Last weekend was our first visit since the remodel—it was different but still beautiful, and we enjoyed soaking and playing. Today, my friend and I took our kids back again and after paying and changing, we got into the pool only to find the water was cold in the larger pool, I asked the staff upfront, and they explained there was an issue with the pump and parts, which I completely understand being how old this wonderdul place is. However, what upset me was that this wasn’t mentioned when I paid for " hot " springs, nor was any discount offered. There was even a birthday party going on, and more people were coming in, nobody was told and all were paying full price, and leaving after a few minutes due to the cold water. During our visit, we all had to huddle in the small pool next to the heater or the hot water entry to stay warm. With the cost of entry, I really hope this isn’t about profit over honesty. Givens, please let people know if the water isn’t hot the minute they come through, and teach the young lady at the counter, temperatures should be taken at the opposite side of the heater lol. —it’s only fair to your customers!

Just went to it after reopened has an open top now. They're not fully finished but the progress is really nice. The people are nice. Definitely affordable. Stayed there last night. Has fire pits. But probably need to bring trash bags to take the trash out. Also maybe something to do about going to the bathroom. Other than that, pretty nice and close to map rock/petroglyphs archeology site.

Fun and Nasty! This place could be awesome with some TLC. My mother in law came with us and she didn’t have a swimsuit so we rented her one for $2. They have life jackets for rent they were $4 each, but they are old and wet. You can buy snacks and drinks at the front counter. Kids 2 years old are free and over are $5. Adults were $10 each and there’s a $5 senior discount. There’s a kids pool connected to the main pool that was good for our 2 year old daughter. My 7 year old son liked jumping in the deep end (I think it’s about 9ft deep at the deepest. They have changing rooms for men and women with showers and toilets but both of the toilets in the men’s bathroom were not working. Be careful walking around the pool it’s super slick. I believe they use chlorine in the pool because I saw a container in the maintenance room but not too much because there was no chlorine smell. We spent 1 hr there and it was definitely fun and nasty!

This is a historic landmark. Nothing is new or fancy but everything is clean and well loved. I camped for 4 days with no trouble. The water in the spigots runs hot! The sprinklers are also hot. The hot springs pool itself feels amazing. I'll definitely stay again if I'm in the area. If you're a rockhound looking for a home base for your activities, consider Givens Hot Springs

It is a beautiful drive to get there. The prices are decent. It needs some upkeep done. I don't think it has wheelchair access nor is it elderly friendly- lots of steps, wet surfaces, uneven ground- a fall just waiting to happen. The water for the showers is almost unbearably hot (they warn you with signs) Still, it has friendly customer service, the pool is clean and accommodates plenty of people. There are private dressing cubicles and private tubs.

Been coming here since I was a little kid, and it's still great. There's a nice shallow pool for very young kids. There's also a deeper pool that goes to 9ft. There are separate changing rooms, showers and bathrooms. There are also separate hot "tubs" that you pay extra for. They are SCALDING. The swimming pool was hot enough for me. Be careful walking around the pool with wet feet it is incredibly slippery.

Amazing scenery and great isolated campsites. Indoor pool is hot spring water that has helpful minerals and the temperature was perfect

Fun American history with the covered wagon outside as you walk in. Owner was friendly, happy, showed us the grounds. The pool had several people, so we opted for a private room. In the private room, there's a big cement trough, but it was clean and the water was piping hot and full of minerals, which was what we came here for, not the plastic plant in the corner. The water had a silky smooth feeling, extremely enjoyable.
