We had our first experience of a child accidentally filling up a car with diesel fuel, rather than gasoline. After it stuttered to a stop and it was realized what had happened, we contacted Eagle Auto Repair. The entire process was great. They thoroughly explained all of the possibilities of what damage could have happened and the price range we could be facing. Communication was excellent throughout and the work was completed quickly. In the end, they were able to keep the cost at the lowest end of the range. We were so appreciative of their thorough and honest work. We will definitely return again when we have our next auto mishap!

Eagle Auto Repair has served my automotive needs for many years. They are sincere about wanting to zero in on my concerns and remedy the issue(s) in a timely manner. They are pleasant to work with, and have always been very honest in their dealings with me.
Once again Eagle Auto Repair has impressed with their service. I came in with tail lift shocks needing replaced. They ordered up the same day and I came back the next day and they installed for free! I can’t say enough nice things about their business practices.
Oh my goodness, the people at Eagle Auto Repair are terrific. I come from Weiser for the service on my 2012 car. They take care of the items that are needed and make recommendations of things that will be needed in the future. My husband passed last year so I feel very confident in Eagle to take care of my car without doing things that are not needed like most dealerships.

Excellent communication and exceptional service! Took my recently-acquired vehicle here that was having some electrical and transmission issues... they were very up-front with me that they may or may not be able to fix the issues, but were willing to take a look to see if anything could be done. Not only were they able to diagnose the problems, but they were able to fix all of them for less than I was expecting to have to pay. Walked away a very happy customer and the car has been running perfectly ever since. Will be back for all future auto repair needs – everyone there was super friendly, open and honest.
I needed my light bulbs replaced (that I purchased) on my truck head lights. I spoke with Josh and he said to bring it in and they would get it done in a few minutes. Dylan replaced my lights quickly no charge. Thank you so much!

Beware of Upselling and Questionable Practices
I’m willing to bet that this shop pays its service reps a commission, which might explain the overly enthusiastic welcome at the front counter. Unfortunately, when commission is paired with questionable ethics, the customer ends up paying the price—literally. They push unnecessary services just to pad their paychecks.
I stopped in for a free A/C check—saw it advertised on their sign—and expected a simple evac and recharge. As a longtime Uber driver with over a million miles across four cars, I’ve had this service done many times, typically for around $150. My AC was blowing cold, I just like to make sure it is freezing cold for the summer. Instead, they told me it would be $430, claiming there was a leak, all because my system psi was a little low (I had ran the AC constantly the last 2 years for 100k miles, if there is a leak it’s a very small one, I told them this). Also, the $430 price tag was just to identify the leak, not to fix it. An honest shop would put in fluorescent dye ($15) and have you come back if your system stops blowing cold air, and then they look at your ac system with a blacklight. Just do the service I asked you for, one that every other shop does and quit trying to force me into unnecessary repairs.
When I questioned the price and mentioned that other shops charge far less, the service rep (smiley guy with red stubble) got defensive and sarcastically asked if those other shops were “out of business yet.” No—they’re not. In fact, their bays are full. Unlike this place.
Five stars for sure. Very professional. Quick but thorough. Found seal leaks and repaired.

I had a mixed experience with this repair shop.
The good:
They were gracious enough to get my vehicle in and worked on (due to it being a work vehicle and needed) as soon as possible. They didn't have to get it done so quickly so that was much appreciated.
The bad:
I put gas in a diesel vehicle and needed the tank drained (it was never started after I realized my error at the gas station). I had to have the vehicle towed to their shop after hours. Before it was towed I was given an estimate for the work at between 2-3 hundred dollars. I had the vehicle towed to their shop and in the morning when the vehicle was on the lift was told it would be 450 dollars (it ended up being 500 dollars). They didn't call me either, I called them after the vehicle was on the lift and work had begun. I mentioned that was quite a bit more than originally estimated. It seemed curious that in the course of a few hours you could go from an estimate to knowing exactly what it would cost. They already had the make, model and year at the time of the estimate. When I went to pick up the vehicle I asked about this discrepancy and a minor upcharge on fuel (had some in the truck I was going to use) and was given a snarky response "we're in business to make money". I have no problem with making money but wasn't asked about adding fuel or the replacement of a gasket until after the fact. Those weren't major cost items but when asked about it I was dismissed. My real frustration was that I was given an estimate that was half as much as it ended up being and when I brought this up was told, "I let you know how much it would be this morning." The problem was it was on the lift already and I would have had to tow it elsewhere and was in need of the vehicle as soon as possible. Towing it elsewhere and finding a different shop was more time and more money. I would have preferred the option of looking elsewhere before towing there in the first place had I known the estimate would be half as much as the actual cost. That seems deceptive considering it went from an estimate to actual cost in half a day. It's hard to believe the guy I spoke with didn't know his estimate would be so far from the real cost. He's a mechanic too (by the looks of it) and couldn't have been unaware of the actual cost. I wouldn't bring any vehicle of mine back to this place for the simple fact that I wouldn't trust them to be honest.
Awesome service as usual. They do great work on my 2012 BMW X5. I come in from Weiser cause they are dependable and always go above and beyond.They fix what is wrong and don't try to upsell like the dealers.

They make sure both sides are aligned with the issues to be solved and their plan of action. They completed an additional fix when the original work done didn’t correct the issue. Also, they listen to my goals of balancing budget and safety/longevity of my old car.
Our A/C went out & we stopped at Eagle Auto Repair where there were many cars, but they started working on our car immediately. We are from out of state & had planned to leave Boise the next morning so the technician said he'd come early, at 7 a.m. if we wanted to bring it in. We did & 2 hours later it was done! The men were so helpful & cordial. We recommend them to anyone & everyone, as going above & beyond.

I found Eagle Auto Repair as I was looking for a second opinion on some work the dealership said I needed done and then changed upon re-inspection. So as a shop with good reviews I wanted Eagle Auto Repair to give me their opinion and a repair price quote! I feel confident in their assessment that certain things did not need repair and they are going to watch the last item the dealership thought was an important repair. Additionally, Eagle Auto Repair’s quote was significantly lower than the dealership. I’m very fond of honesty and integrity and this repair shop has both in abundance. I took my 2008 F150 here and the guys did such a great job, they assessed the problem and went above and beyond, they communicated with me and were very honest about what needed to be done. I can’t thank them enough for the job they did on my air conditioner and transmission. I would highly recommend Eagle auto repair.

Took my wife's 2017 Expedition here for a couple of issues. They were communicative, quick, and their prices were reasonable! One of the issues they could not duplicate, and because of that they didn't charge us to look at it! I ended up having them perform a couple of the services they recommended. We will definitely be coming back!
We've taken our vehicles here a few different times and each time, they've been incredibly fair, used common sense and always communicated with us. We recently had our truck in with them that needed to be moved to a dealership due to warranty issues. Even knowing they wouldn't be getting the money to fix the vehicle, they were incredible to work with and helped coordinated with us and the dealership. Dylan is who we've constantly worked with and he's a solid guy. He is easy to communicate with and went the extra mile to try to track down a part that is on a massive back order. He went above and beyond to do the right thing. These guys are honest and do great work. I'm beyond impressed each time we work with them.
I could not be happier with the service we received from Eagle Auto Repair. Our check engine light came on while driving on highway 55, the car was running so rough we barely made it to Eagle. They took the car that day and had it done and ready to go by Friday. I was kept informed the entire time my car was there and I was treated very well.. They were able to work with my warranty company and get much of the work covered under the warranty. Josh and his team are top notch!

2015 Vette. Had an electrical problem over July 4 weekend & left car in lot. Josh had it scheduled the next Monday morning & it was finished in a few hours. Mechanic Dave did the work & car runs perfectly now.

They did quite a few repairs on my old 86 Chevy, I am very happy with the work they did to the radiator as well as fixing the rear differential leak. My only complaint would be they forgot to tighten the nuts on the carrier bearing of my driveshaft after they replaced my U-joint. Which caused my driveshaft to fall at an angle. I’d like to write it off as an honest mistake but it definitely put me in a tough position since I was hauling hay. Overall they are polite, professional and didn’t charge me an arm and a leg for all the repairs they did.
