Pā'ia is a small town 15 minutes away from Maui and next to the beach. Great for sightseeing, eating, having a coffee. Beach is good for surfing or relaxing under the sun. Rough waters for a swim

Awesome waves to surf/body surf, boogie board or just play in. Seems very family/kid friendly. There are toilets and an outdoor shower/foot wash area too.

Beautiful beach. Not very busy. You want to go around the youth center to get to the beach. There are bathrooms there. Lots of walkers on the beach. There are also allot of homeless. Especially in the trees.

Visited early September in the early afternoon. Way too stormy to swim and rough surf. Pretty Beach to look at but very hard to enjoy with the strong wind.

Beautiful and easy to reach beach. We went there for the sunset, after dinner. It was quiet and we also saw turtles!

Great place to watch the sunset over the mountain while letting the kids play in the gentle waves

Nice clean beach and not many people. Looks like a local beach location.

Good beach area but had a few people floating around that might have some bad habits. I was fine but wife and kids felt a little uneasy.

While this is listed as a park, it is basically beach access closes to Paia town. The park does continue down away and does have facilities. Many local families, few tourist. very laid back vibe......really Màui! The waves kicked up on my second trip as video shows. The kids were out on their boogie boards ripping it!

Beautiful beach. It was very wavy the day we were there. Definitely not safe for anyone that isn't very experienced.

This beach was tops for us while visiting all of the Hawaiian islands. It has a private beach feel to it and is just a quick 6 minute walk from downtown Paia. The views are remarkable, and we even saw a couple of sea turtles swimming close by! There was not a lot of people at this beach, but the atmosphere was very welcoming. Recommend taking the family using Uber as it is only a $20 one way ride from the Maui mall. Take lots of pics as everything will be postcard quality!!

Fun surf but can be windy and choppy. Most the time not good for beginners

Really neat place for a great beach experience Waves at times..but clean place.. Love the outdoor shower and a reasonably clean restroom. If lucky, you may find this huge turtle...looks like sick and need some attention from the local conservation department

Always a great time at the Beach. The surf can be really big sometimes. Sometimes you can see turtles passing by, not a lot of tourists which is nice for a more local vibe. Highly recommend Paia Bay Cafe (ten minute walk) for breakfast and a Bloody Mary.

We did a quick drive by on our way back from cliff jumping. Super beautiful and loved how may sea turtles were hanging out on the beach. Truly would have loved to sit on the beach.

Great beach that's quite laid back. You can walk from the town center area or there's plenty of parking available. Restrooms are also available. There's also a youth center and a park area. Possibly one of my favorite beaches on Maui

My Daughter found this beautiful beach, while we were on a helicopter tour. The water and beach are beautiful. We even seen some sea turtles sun bathing. They have plenty of shops and restaurants just two short blocks away. You can definitely spend the day.

Really nice Beach. Waves were decent from what my crew said. The parking situation can be difficult in the afternoon. Restroom available, but dirty. A few homeless people inhabit the area.

We absolutely love this Beach! Seeing the huge Sea Turtles coming ashore to sun was amazing! The waves are strong and excellent for the boggie boards. The shore line is Beautiful and soft sand.we highly recommend this for a visit when you hit Maui.

Gorgeous beach! The waves are hard though so I didn’t feel comfortable swimming although plenty of people did. This place is great for surfing!! Sometimes you can see a turtle or two here so don’t assume all black circles at the beach are rocks. The park is walking distance to Paia town where you can lunch & shop.

A cute little beach, but the surf was much to intense to venture into the water. Murky and brown, but still nice. The public bus stops right near here so really easy to get there if coming from a cruise ship

Little do most people know, all beaches are public in Hawaii, and thank god they are for this little spot, nicknamed "turtle beach" it lives up to its name, where at least one or two turtles can always be seen lying on the beach, especially in the afternoon. A great place to take the kids or go hang out with a couple of friends, with public parking within walking distance for those who can't be dropped off.

Such a beautiful area! Public bathrooms are as expected and there are outdoor showers to clean off! Very popular area for any type of surfing! Or just viewing those courageous people!!

Good beach park with pole shower and restrooms, limited parking. Good place for body-boarding and some short surf breaks. Has a basketball court with lights that stay on until 9PM. Often windy, and NOT a good place to snorkel.
