Came by to check my battery and run codes. Ray was super helpful and was knowledgeable and provided me with parts options and what he would recommend. All within like 15 minutes....super awesome!!
Brought a product & needed assistance with it’ asked an associate nicely if they were able To help but was told by a lady associate stating the product was “idiot proof” smh no help . I would never deal with her & her wise remarks ever!
Buuuuuuuut the men there is spectacular with there services, manu came out to help second time we asked & was great + gave us more information to better understand even when she was calling him to help someone else. Thank you manu for all your hard work and effort overall kindness!!
I’ve been in and out of this O’Reilly’s for about two years now and can honestly say it’s consistently the best experience with automotive care I have ever had, purely due to the high quality customer service. Many employees go above and beyond to help, have good listening skills, and give sincere advice within their expertise. Extremely fair with item warranties and have never tried to push products. Trustworthy and helpful for both women and less confident DIY mechanics. I’ve witnessed employees assisting with installs/servicing in lots many times over the last couple of years.
Today, Manu watched me pull up in my truck in the rain. He pulled my battery + new battery to the counter, and came to my door with an umbrella before I ever had the car turned off. Helped carry the batteries to and from the vehicle as well over the last two days. Sincere kindness that was greatly appreciated — you’re treated like family here and it keeps me coming back. Manu is the nicest and most helpful employee I have ever met! He was quick to help us find the correct headlight for our car and even offered to install it for us which was incredibly appreciated. Great place and employee overall!
Huge shoutout to the manager at O’Reilly’s who basically saved my whole day. I came in thinking I just needed a serpentine belt, and not only did he help me find the exact one I needed, he noticed my tensioner was shot something I had no idea about. Total expert vibes, super friendly, and honestly went above and beyond without making me feel dumb. If you want real help from someone who actually knows their stuff, this is the place.

great service, especially getting parts from other stores...same day! solid counter help and car smarts helps speed the repairs i do on my jalopy. so far all the parts are just as good as any i get at other places and many have lifetime warranty's which is funny if you saw my jeep.

Conrad is the reason this is the only parts store on island I go to. Excellent customer service going out of his way every time to make sure you make the right fix the first time. Extremely knowledgeable and generous with his time.
The customer service is really good, unfortunately that's not what this post is about. I've purchased two parts from them in the last 3 months, one of the parts just didn't work, the other part I purchased was missing a piece. I still go to O'Reilly's because they have a lot of things I need, the parts seem to be hit or miss.
Amazing service from Zachary- I went in needing a new battery after jumping my car and getting at it turned out to be more complicated than expected. He helped me identify the right battery type for my Audi and I was able to use their tools to make sure it was installed properly. I’ve had great service at this location before but had to post a review after Zachary went above and beyond to get me back on the road on a Sunday night!
Rosie is an amazing employee! I called up this morning after facing some car trouble and she encouraged me to come on over. We hooked my car up to their OBD2 computer and explored some simple solutions for my issue. She was very knowledgeable and helped me plan my next steps moving forward. Thank you Rosie!
My 15 yr old Mustang GT 's Alternator failed several days ago - No help from dealer (part is obsolete) - NAPA had difficulty in identifying which part to order - Rosie at O'Reilly's Kailua was able to research & order part via UPS - Great Service ! Will use them in all future transactions.
Where to begin!!! Zachary you are a life saver!!! I came in stressed and left feeling like family! Not only did he come out and help me check my oil levels, He taught me how to check it in for future!!! He took me inside the store and helped me pick out every item I would need and he explained each item and when they were used for! He answered all my questions to the point where I felt Confident for the future.If these issues arise I would know how to fix it. He help clean my Imaginary terminal that had blue stuff all over it, he help me put in the oil and checked it two times after to make sure it was perfect!!! He helped me put in the coolant that was hardly there. He helped me fix all the wrongs that GMC had did not even 1 month and half ago when I paid for a oil change and for Fluids to be topped off Instead, my car didnt get the oil nor the fluids and it had caused so many issues that I've never had before and thanks to Zachary, everything was fixed today.Thank you so much O'REILLY.You really came through and helped me and my family out today!! Thank you so much!!
It was ok. They do the bare minimum of trying to go out of their way to help a chic..it seems like most O'Reilly's are the same..no aloha but they do have reasonable prices and stocked products and will do all they can to get you what u need in regards to tools, fluids, parts and so forth.
The most rude, unprofessional auto parts store I've ever been to, please don't go here, if you need an oreilly's go to a different location. Been in Hawaii for 20 years and this store has disappointed me every single time. I wish they would just close this location, a horrible representation of the Oreilly brand and company.
Conrad is the best!! Customer service there was phenomenal, after purchasing a quart of oil and a windshield wiper blade, I mentioned I had an engine light on, he let me borrow the reader and a code came up with “too high airflow”and he said go out and make sure the air intake hose is on securely, after checking…of course it was loose and he came out and actually tightened it for me! Truly great service
Folks are good and knowledgeable at this O'Reillys. Visited them many times and they are focused on getting you out the door quick and easy. If you are not sure about what your needing or doing go ahead and ask them and they are all willing to slow down to help folks out!
Their location is very convenient and is on the main street of Kailua. They're very helpful and patient. There's a sign that saying you can work on your vehicle in the parking lot and they'll lead you the tools you needed to fix your problems. Well my problem was that my turning signal was not working, so I went to get replacement. When I asked about someone to help me. At first I was told he couldn't, but then he realized I was a female. So we went a head to the car and he decided he would do it for me. He struggled to get the light off. After all that work the light was working fine and it didn't need to be replaced. So I put the bulbs in my glove box, so I'll have the part when I really needs it. After putting everything back together. I thanks him and he wasn't upset/angry after doing all the work. I would recommend this store for future situations.
The polite and friendly staff is awesome. Very knowledgeable on parts and what you my be replacing when it comes to your automotive needs. Bring the part in and they definitely match it up before you walk out.. they have helped to test my starters, dead battery’s and or replace it all together With the right replacement parts
It’s never fun when you wake up to a car that won’t start. With a ton of errands to run & a tight budget, this made our positive experience at O’Reillys all the more appreciated.
We stopped by on 7/29/21 as a good friend of ours told us they will test your batter for free. We were greeted by Nick, who was kind & professional from the get go. He gave us the good news that the free diagnostic test also included the alternator. Huge relief!
The test came back and said everything looked good, at which point the stress kicked in. Surely we would have to take our car to a mechanic and spend a fortune to diagnose/fix the problem.
Nick was so thoughtful to look up our past transactions, only to find that our battery was still under their 3-year warranty. When it comes to days where your car is giving you a headache, good news like this seems few and far between.
He also took the time to help us install the new battery, and within 5 minutes, lo & behold…the car started up like a champ.
We are so grateful for Nick, and are happy to say that we’ve also had a series of positive experiences at this location. Little deeds like this not only saved us a fortune, but also made our day so much better.

Very helpful staff! I not only looked up parts wiper motor (older vehicle hard to find) that they had in stock without going through the model /make system but, they worked with me in finding what would be a better choice outside of what the might sell in store. Another great experience where the people on the other side of the counter will address you needs as a customer!
