Under new management! old school junk yard where they let you pull parts off yourself. not a Walmart where walk in and they hand your item. if you know your part and have your own tools save big bucks and walk the yard, maybe you get lucky maybe not but that's how old school yards are. there are other places on Oahu but for sure they charge more. this place is great for do it yourself kine folks. I recently found three old school rims to match the three I have. not made anymore. I have seen quite a few newer cars too. Unlike the previous management now there is great turnover, you may want to stop by often if it is in your way. right in the middle of pearl city easy access
went here to get a couple parts, apparently they’re under new management. The new owner “AJ”, young guy, had attitude straight off the bat when asked where the car we needed would be located. we come back with the parts we need two broken plastic pieces and a dented hood release latch, he said the best he can do is $60 when we asked if that was the best price because we compared the price of brand new pieces vs what he was offering his attitude got worse. AJ said “i’ll pull up ebay if you really wanna go that route cuz yk sounds like you’re questioning me” all pissed off, mind you we were nice the whole time. He ended up going down to $50, but we will not be coming back. I understand you’re trying to run a business but it’s a JUNK YARD and when you’re being rude to customers for no reason you won’t have business.
The first time, they said they had the steering knuckle assembly I wanted, but I had to remove it myself. Two days later, I asked my friend to help me, and when he went there, they told him to search the entire junkyard on his own. He spent two hours searching, going around three times, only for them to tell him in the end that they didn’t have it. It was a huge waste of time, and the service was terrible.
