Why does the sign say open at 6::00 and it’s now 6:30😤

Great place but they do not receive green waste at all. There’s another review that is inaccurate that says that they do.

Not the most convenient location but they take green waste - from 8am-4pm. The woman who overseas the dumping watches like a hawk.

Easy to get in and out

This station is large with lots of space to drive around to and pays for recycling, it accepts mixed recycling drop offs, as well as 2 dumping bins allowing 4 vehicles to drop off trash at once. Of course, they've (the county?) made it so you can only dump using a personal vehicle.. no trailer, no vehicle larger than a pick up.. and this means there's an endless stream of pickups trying to get rid of their trash. I find the poor availability of hazardous waste disposal (from oil to coilant, you must attend the special annual event to dispose properly), and now increased difficulty in all waste disposal counter productive. People going to the transfer station, then being turned away is why the ditches besides the roads are filled with trash, and that unfiltered water is often right by the ocean! We need to make proper waste disposal easier, not harder.. this should be a key responsibility on our island, which means it should have full government backing and support.

I I consistently get FREE garden mulch from this transfer station. If you “self load” the quality of the mulch is good.

Pretty fast and convenient plus the guys were very helpful in making sure that everyone was taken cared of in the right order!

Please, TAKE your garbage here. Super easy to do. Fun drive. Pick up garbage along the road or beach, bring it here. It is what keeps paradise just that, Paradice. Hard working people, friendly staff

Never gonna find transfer stations with better views.

It was clean and the bins weren't over filled. Not smelly...nothing smoldering or smoky. The HI5 was up and running. Even the recycle store was open. Only two people are able to shop at a time. MASKS ARE REQUIRED @ all 3 spots

Love having this sevice. They keep everything clean and tidy. The workers there are very friendly and it makes my day to see them three to four times a week. Please respect the free trade rules. I would hate to lose a place like that. I’ve gotten some needed things there when I needed it and dropped off things that will be used that I no longer needed. Thank you to the ones maintaining it.
