Joey literally saved the day! Excellent communication and very fast response! I was shocked by how fast the process was, he hooked me and my trailer up in 5 minutes. Seriously was insane. My first time needing towing like this and I was worried about the hassle, but Joey really made the process easy and was very friendly in the process.

Dang, can’t give zero stars. Needed help and was assigned this company through State Farm. While State Farm was very helpful, S and M never even showed up to help (on the side of the highway) If you’re looking for a reliable company, look elsewhere.
I locked my keys in the car and my insurance used this company to help me. The service was outstanding!! Super nice guy, got to me relatively quickly and even brought me my keys to Kroger since I was shopping to kill time while I waited. 10/10 would recommend
This place was top notch . My van broke down on the way to Florida . They towed it from my hotel , replaced my alternator , and had me back on the road in two hours at a very reasonable cost. The office ladies were very friendly with southern charm and my kids loved the snake in the waiting room. All around friendly and knowledgeable people . Highly recommended !
I'm from Southeast Georgia near the Florida line. My tire went flat on I-75 and I had no jack. Thanks to S&M repair and towing for their excellent and friendly service. I give them 5 stars for GREAT customer service. S&M your the BEST!!!!! Thank you so much!!!
This company was sent via AAA for my vehicle at home which wouldn’t start. After several attempts to jump the car with tow companies equipment that was not charged, I decided to have it towed to my mechanic shop.
After a couple days, my shop informed me that nothing was wrong with the vehicle and they recharged the battery with no issues. The day it came in.
So had S&M properly serviced my vehicle and knew how to use proper equipment,I could have saved the $60 they charged me for towing plus diagnostic fee from my shop. Thanks for nothing.
S&M towed and repaired my 2017 Volkswagen Pissat. They had it finished and ready to pick up the next day. I would absolutely recommend this business to anyone who needs help with their vehicle.
From my personal experience, I do not trust anything that this business owner does or says:
On 8/20/2024, I called S&M to unlock my car. I had accidentally locked my keys in the car, in front of Planet Fitness.
They told me that it would be $65. I agreed. A man wearing slides arrived in a tow truck. He used something like a doorstop and an inflatable bag to push my driver's side door open. He used a bent metal rod to reach in and try to grab the handle of the door.
I told him that, on my 2000 Chevy Tracker, pulling the handle doesn't unlock the door. He continued. His efforts ripped the handle and its assembly off of my vehicle.
The man wearing slides called another person and he arrived in another row truck, with a different tool. They unlocked my door. The two men agreed that all I had to do was to come by the shop and present my broken handle and the part would be ordered and replaced. He said that he took pictures of the broken handle and that I had no reason to worry. I paid the agreed $65.
Roughly thirty-six hours later, I came to the shop and calmly presented my broken handle. The shop owner refused to repair it. I remained calm and polite, despite the owner's attitude. Attached are the pictures and video.
Due to my experience with the shop's owner, I cannot recommend any services from this establishment or its proprietor.
Daughter blew her motor took 6 weeks to replace motor was quoted $1700 after picking up the vehicle it was $2500 and the next morning the vehicle has absolutely no fluids in it no oil no radiator fluid and no power steering. The mechanic refuses to fix.
I am from out of town and needed my breaks looked out bc I thought there was a problem. They took a look and said it was just something on the pad making the noise. They are very nice and honest people. Once again I went here and they were so helpful. Told me what I needed to do in and emergency leak I had and where to get my tires repaired. That are always so nice. Thank you again. Another update. My ins company sent S&M out to tow my car. The guy was very nice and on time. Every time I have asked a question or used there services they have always been on point. Thank you once again
Do not use this company for repairs. They replaced a fuel pump on our dump truck and not only did it take months for him to complete the repair, they repaired it with another used, leaking, fuel pump.
After they changed the fuel pump, the truck no longer pulled as hard as it did before. So that tells me it’s not the same type of fuel pump that came off. They also refused to give me any of my old parts back.
Another shop suggested that I sue them after they saw all the “work” they did on the truck. Since they have refused to take responsibility, that’s what we are forced to do.
This repair company is in the business of scamming people & making unauthorized transactions on credit cards. Make sure you look at your receipt, because they will put generic things on the bill instead of what they are doing.
Michael, the owner, told me our dump truck would be fixed within a day of me bringing the parts. They were supposed to replace the leaf spring equalizer. (I’m buying the parts for this job, because the last job he over charged us for every part) After 3 days of not hearing from them, I went to the shop. When I got there, I noticed they had TORCHED the entire leaf spring hangar and CUT the equalizer in 2 places. After they noticed I was outside taking pictures, they came out to tell me all the problems they have had getting 1 nut off. Michael was using a battery powered impact and said he can’t get the nut off, so he’s cutting everything off. After a few days it was “done”. Well, after 2 hours of driving the dump truck I noticed the nut was now backing out, which could’ve killed someone’s if I didn’t notice. I took it back to them immediately to fix it, well they “tightened” it back up. The next day I noticed it backing out again, accept its the entire bolt, not just the nut. So I decided enough was enough and took it to another shop. When this shop saw the work done, they suggested I get an attorney and sue S&M because they torched and melted all the threads on every nut and bolt in the area of the one they were trying to get off. So now I sit here $5,000 in a leaf spring equalizer change because I had to have a company redo what S&M did and fix the additional damage they caused.
Do not use this company for repairs or towing.
Awesome towing company. We had to get our car we just bought towed from Dalton all the way to Chattanooga and the guy we had was great at reassuring us that if anything went wrong while it was in his possession then the company would pay for it. He was careful putting the chains on and hooking it up to the body instead of the axles and even double checked everything before towing it home.
I called in for help with a flat tire. Bryce went above and beyond. He not only helped me take the tire off, but he was also able to answer a lot of my questions and provide advice. He made himself available to help with whatever my “next steps” happen to be. I was beyond impressed and grateful for Bryce!
We had such a wonderful experience with S&M! We broke down on the way to Tennessee. So, we googled some places near us and they popped up. So, we decided to call them and they was able to come get the vehicle within 30 minutes or so of us calling. Which was amazing. We was thinking the worst and the tow truck driver could tell what was wrong right away and put us at ease. They was able to fix the vehicle in a timely manner and at a excellent price. I highly recommend S&M.
We used their triple A towing, and the young man was extremely fast and very kind. He quickly got my kids and I safely to a tire shop that could help us since they did not have our tire size. It's a difficult size.
I had a great experience with S&M. The woman I spoke to on the phone was nice and helpful. They came out when they said they were, and the price was exactly what they told me it would be. The tow truck driver was very professional and nice, as well. Will use S&M again!
At first my outlook on S&M was not bright. Used roadside twice to get assistance the first driver (with someone in the tow truck who was not an S&M worker) arrived. Barely assisted with getting the spare removed. After removing the spare I used roadside again for the same towing company. After calling dispatch twice to get an ETA and being advised both times it would be a hour. Received contact from Joey at S&M and he advised he was in route. After Joey was assigned he had a wreck to attend to but still came back around to assist us with getting our flat repaired. Joey saved the day and was able to help get me back on the road. If it wasn’t for Joey this review would be a one star. Dispatch needs better and honest communication when it comes to time. (Michael)
Had car trouble and were stuck on the side of the road. Called S&M and Joey helped us out and dropped us off at a safe location while we waited for our ride. S&M then repaired the car and we were able to pick it up. Highly recommend.
Wish i could give 0 stars, fellow car enthusiasts avoid this place. Was told 30 minutes wait time, but ended up waiting almost an hour with no special treatment to lowered cars at all; even after specifically stating it was a lowered car and getting quoted! Maybe call them if you don’t care about your vehicle and want your bumpers scraped coming off.. driver was a total smarta** as well! 100% AVOID AT ALL COSTS
I believe it was a Saturday and they arrived in less than 15 minutes. Driver was friendly. My car needed a new alternator plus a new battery and it came out to $601, which I thought was fair. It took about a week and yes they were very busy it seemed like. Great service all around, will definitely call them should I break down again in Dalton.
I didn't get the guys name but I wish I had. My ETA was set for 90 mins but he arrived in five. He did everything he could to get my completely dead battery going and get me back on the road! He was extremely professional and kind. If I could give more stars I would. Thanks so much for your help S&M!
I needed a tow to a battery place and my initial AAA tow truck never showed. So I was reassigned a driver from S&M, and I’m so glad they sent over Brandon! He was quicker than the estimated time, communicated when he was on his way and was very skilled at his job! He advised my husband and I that is issue wasn’t battery like we had thought. Which was so helpful! He then towed my car directly to a garage. He was so great to work with, and made a very tense situation a lot better. Thank you Brandon!
Had to have my car towed and S&M we're the only company that answered my call on a Friday night. Sam their driver was prompt and friendly. He responded quickly and was very knowledgeable of my car troubles. Definitely will recommend in the future!
Friendly service! I needed to have my car towed and the gentleman on the phone was super nice. When the driver, Sam, arrived to pick my car up, he was very informative. Sam was also friendly and talkative! Thank you, S&M for helping out and having great staff!
My sons truck broke down and the first 3 places we called wanted obscene amounts of money to tow it 5 miles. And the average wait time was 6 hrs to 2 days! I called S and M and their prices was less than half of what the others wanted and the driver was there in 20 mins!! He was very respectful, knowledgeable and friendly!! We have a new Tow company now and will use them for auto repair as well if they repair as well as they tow. Thanks yall!!
