This place is awesome! So much fun, easy self guided walk through the rocks. Incredibly dog friendly on all the trails. Plenty of parking. Skip the guided tour there are plenty of cards around to explain things.

Amazing scenery, the trail was paved out and very convenient with clear directions. If thirsty, you could get a drink along the way. The staff were also friendly. At the end, there is a cave with old Germanic fairytale, which I loved. I recognised many of them as someone who grew up in the Netherlands, especially the music at the end was very nostalgic to me. Overall, it was a great experience with an amazing scenery, clear trails and an unique atmosphere!

This place is magical! It contains so much beauty on the top of Lookout Mountain. I came here to replace some bad memories with some great new ones and mission accomplished! You can spend hours here exploring all of the amazingly cool things that they have set up on this mountaintop wonderland. The views from here are amazing!

This had been on my bucket list for a couple years. Finally went and so glad I did!!! It was simply, magical! I went while the Christmas lights were still up and they had fake snow machines thru out the park giving it perfect Christmas Season vibes!

I have been several times and spent hours on each visit. The view from the top of mountain is beautiful. The park is full of amazing plants and trees. The history of the place is well documented and accessible throughout the facilities. From the swinging bridge to beautiful large rock formations and a waterfall. Several other whimsical features I will keep secret because I feel they are best discovered while exploring inside. Family fun at all ages. Will walk quite a bit inside with lots of steps. I think the price is reasonable!

We live on Lookout Mtn about 8 miles from Rock City and have season passes. It’s one of the most beautiful places to visit. We’re there around 7-10 times each year and it never gets old. Halloween and Christmas lights are both reasons to get the season passes.

We had so much fun at this location. We honestly had no idea everything that it actually had.And we were surprised by how much fun we had.And how many things they had to offer. We already wrote it down to visit again when we go back. We have 5 kiddos (3-13) and all of them absolutely loved our adventure here!

We went to see the enchanted lights at Rock City tonight. Went with our extended family, many of whom were from out of town. Everyone seemed to enjoy it from great grandma down to the great grand children. Really good assortment of holiday lights. The night atmosphere really made the trails seem mysterious and cool. Lots of good snacks including some tasty adult beverages … I hadn’t been in a few years but asked myself repeatedly tonight why I hadn’t come back with the family sooner. Really good time. I’ll come back, again

We weren't sure entirely what to expect, but Rock City Gardens at Christmas time was beautiful! The trails were easy for our crew and we were able to see everything in about 2 hours. We also stopped for kettle corn, which was delicious. The view from the top at night was the best one we saw all week. Highly recommend. We'd love to go back during the day on our next trip.

So… I have A-LOT to write about for this place. To start, when I came in, I was bombarded with festive lights that came in many colors (in a good way!), and despite that day being so busy, like the parking lot was packed with cars, check in was very easy and simple. First thing I did was to checkout the first light path that we saw (I forgot the name though), and we went and we saw the trees that were covered in purple, blue, and white I think illumined lights. It wasn’t so long ‘til we got to the Rock City Cafe 7, where you can get to see the view of 4 states (or 7 they say there are 7 of them but I’m not sure if you can see all 7?)! Once we got there, I immediately got the hot chocolate with the add-on of peppermint and white chocolate, if I never went here, then I never would’ve had the BEST hot chocolate ever! There are bathrooms consistently throughout the trails, mostly in between the next trail usually. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at Rock City and I’m looking forward to coming back, mostly for the special events! Also, please excuse my photo quality, it really lacked quality in the night, and I tried really hard not get to any people in my photos I took. Anyways, this place definitely worth going to, especially to see the lights and amazing scenery up top!

It definitely is not like it used to be because there were more attractions and different light fixtures plus there were some things that were interactive when I was younger. Now it's just lights everywhere, and that's pretty much it. Definitely not worth fifty dollars per ticket! If you're wanting to see christmas lights next year, then go right around in the neighborhoods to the people who have put their heart and soul and to giving a spectacular christmas light adventure. Last but not least the cafes or the food they have up there is way too high priced for what you get ?

We visit Rock City twice a year. Once for the daytime views and once for the highlight of our holidays to see the Enchanted Garden of Lights. We absolutely love it being a seasonal tradition with festive themes, joyful Christmas music and lights, amazing atmosphere and lots of family fun. Our large group of friends and family look forward to it every year and love the experience from start to finish. Advice: Plan ahead!! We always pick a date together and buy our tickets a month in advance. Plan on arriving 15- 30 min early to get a drink at Starbucks to enjoy while standing in line to enter. It’s so much more enjoyable when you’re not running late or stressed about entering. Then expect lines, but be patient and know they do move fast, but it’s just part of the process. No tourist spot better in the area to feel the Christmas cheer and have such a fun experience. A must do for both young and old.

Absolutely worth the visit. The views at Rock City are stunning, with beautiful overlooks, unique rock formations, and well-maintained paths. The Enchanted Garden of Lights is magical after dark—tasteful lighting, glowing waterfalls, and a great atmosphere without feeling crowded or overdone. Well organized, friendly staff, and an overall memorable experience. Would definitely come back.

My daughter and I loved this place! There are multiple paths through the gardens. We went at night for the light show. We especially loved the fairyland. The vignettes and antique dolls are amazing with great attention to detail. It was a cold night and I was disappointed that there were no hot chocolate stands, just beer and wine. The winding paths have lots of steps and some really narrow areas. I am pretty agile and I tripped and fell so be careful, especially if you have mobility issues. There are several areas to sit and rest or just enjoy the view. This is the location of the 7 states lookout, it is at Lovers Leap. The view is pretty incredible even at night.

Wow. This is an amazing outdoor experience. It was the dream of a couple in the 1930s to share their love of whimsical fairytales integrated seamlessly into a natural rock face. It’s ornate, wholesome and educational. Their Christmas light display is the best I have ever seen. I would like to make this a yearly tradition. I believe it’s worth the higher entrance fee. However, it is not very accessible for strollers, wheelchairs or those with mobility issues. Otherwise, 100:10 recommend.

?️(Tickets are cheaper online rather than purchasing at the gates) ?️ ??As with each season, we get an opportunity to witness the sites with different backdrops. After this trip, Rock City in the fall may be my favorite time to visit! The mountains were on full display painted with the most saturated and vivid colors. With the stark contrast between the blue sky, multicolored leaves, and the Lovers Leap waterfall altogether made the most breathtaking view! At the top, we all enjoyed hot cocoa admiring the view from Cafe 7 patio while our teens enjoyed getting local art surprise goodies out of the Art-O-Mat in the gift shop. As we ventured back down, we embraced the magical experience of walking through stone archways that guided us on our way through this enchanted mountain. We got glimpses of the gnomes and their treasures that are hidden in and along the mountainside. Lastly, we ventured into Fairy Land Caverns that transported you into a nostalgic fairytale that made us all feel young again with our eyes wide with wonder. This adventure is great for all ages! ⚠️A warning if you have any joint or ambulation difficulties, fear of tight spaces, or heights, be mindful you will have to walk through narrow crevices in the mountain, across a suspended rope bridge, and down steep stairs that may be slippery when wet.

??? What an AMAZING day! This location is absolutely incredible and truly magical. I drove for 3 hours to visit, and it was 100% worth every minute in the car. It deserves all the hype and the drive! Don't hesitate—go and see this magical area for yourself. I loved it!

Fantastic experience and the place is gorgeous. The panoramic view from the top is breathtaking and you can relax in the cafe while doing it. You can see seven states from here. I had a great time there exploring the area and see all the huge rocks and all the cool trails and the swing bridge. The fairland cavers was a nice surprise. So well done and beautiful inside, really feels magic. Definitely I want to visit this place at night while all the lights around are on, because must be a completely different experience.

I loved everything about Rock City Gardens. We went there on a weekday. No traffic and there were free EV chargers. Entry was quick and easy, requiring only your QR code if you purchased in advance. The trails were decorative and also short and beautiful. It has lots of different sightings. We went at 3PM and left at 8PM. At the summit, there was also a restaurant for people who are hungry to eat.

SO worth the trip! In my opinion if you want some amazing views and fun, absolutely recommend this place over many others like Incline Mountain or Anakeesta if you don't want the crowds. There's definitely a lot of walking, so be prepared, but the views of pretty much anywhere in Rock City are incredible.

This place is magical. It is a unique combination of hiking and breathtaking viewpoints and a botanical garden with enchanting and thoughtful decor worked into the natural landscape. The trail system all connects and leads one into the next, so you can see and experience everything. There's plenty of space to stop and enjoy the viewpoints. There's also plenty of comfortable spaces worked in to stop and take a rest if you need. We visited in late October, so got the added bonus of the enchanted pumpkin patch. We visited in the morning, but I can only imagine it would be stunning in the evening with everything lit up. I also imagine in Christmas, it is wonderful as well. I was very much looking forward to visiting here on our trip and it exceeded my expectations. I would love to come back in the future. My only recommendations are to wear comfortable shoes and to buy your tickets in advance (for a bit of savings). Parking is free.

This is a must see if you are in the Chattanooga area!! I’ve lived in East TN my entire life and just now made it to see Rock City. The views are spectacular! We absolutely loved the multiple trails and hidden gems throughout the scenery. This is such a unique place with a ton of history. The price is fair and the staff are all amazing. We didn’t get to try any food while we were here but it looked great as well. I highly recommend visiting!!

My husband and I went just the two of us this month (October). We had a great time. We loved walking around. We loved the decorations for Halloween. We were really impressed with our drinks. He ordered spiked cider, apple cider with rum. I had the Harvest Mule and both were delicious! Don’t pass up on the seasonal drinks. We did not eat there but the food did look good. We went later in the day so we were able to explore in the daylight and after the sun went down. We enjoyed all it had to offer and I would definitely recommend going in the month of October!

Absolutely great place to be a child. Imagination coming to life. From the rock formations and the natural surroundings to the decorations, lighting, and displays added by the business, such a cool place to check out. I went during Halloween, and it is very packed on the weekends. With that in mind, bring your patience . . . And your wallet. The admission is expensive. The parking is free but the beer and wine ain't. If you follow the trails on the map, it is one big loop. This makes most of the trails one way, which makes sense. Especially the very tight areas. Some people don't, lol. The fairyland cavern is pretty crazy, and wild. It shows displays of children's stories as dioramas in blacklight. Vivid colors and good detail, but some of the scenes are . . . interesting. All in all a fun visit, bit one start off for price.

What an amazing experience! Even though we didn’t get pictures of Rock City, we managed to snap a bunch while at Ruby Falls. Both places are fantastic for creating memories and having some magical moments with your family and loved ones. I highly recommend both places!!!

Pretty awesome views. Very intentionally designed area. I didn't like the spooky music playing all over--I'm guessing that's an October specialty. The paths through the rocks and the bridges are beautiful. The little dwarf doors and rainbow windows and rocking chairs and arches are delightful.

We were pleasantly surprised at how neat this place is. You can walk a couple short trails through the rock formations and find the gnomes hidden throughout. We also walked through at night during their Halloween nights and enjoyed the lights and pumpkins. The staff around the trails were all nice. Definitely worth a visit!

If you're into relaxing around beautiful stone formations, twinkly lights, and fairy tales, this place is for you. If you're not into that stuff, try to be and enjoy using your imagination :) I love things left of center and this quirky and fun for sure. If I was a little kid, I'd have lost my mind. Price is worth it but purchase online, day of are twice as much. I got lucky & went on a rainy day so hardly anyone was there. It was the perfect mix of magical and relaxing, and the stunning views & mountainside were a bonus. Honestly, I was there for the gnomes & fairies, didn't expect to see a gorgeously foggy view too. The only downside I could see is that on a busy day, their trails could get crowded (they're not wide) and loud (with kid's laughter, of course). Other than that, I highly recommend a visit

This place is so unique that I can't really think of a way to describe it...it's like an amusement park without the rides meets botanical garden without the flowers meets hiking without steep inclines? At its base, you're just walking through trails and rock sculptures, but the fantasy-themed decor and relaxing music turn it into an experience. There are multiple snack shops and restrooms throughout the park and it's fairly simple to navigate overall. The nicest surprise was that it wasn't too busy on a Sunday afternoon. I have absolutely no idea why I enjoyed this so much, but I've already been recommending it to people if they ever vacation in the area.

This is my second visit. I came alone the first time. This time I brought my -8 yr old niece. She LOVED it! Absolutely beautiful and fun all around. Great views, fun trails. The food was okay but to be fair we were there in the evening so not sure how long my pizza was under the heat lamp.
