I hate to come to a business page and leave a bad review as I am a business owner myself but this transaction was just really really bad all the way around. I purchased a hood for a 2006 Silverado 2500HD from A&B. This was in their system and stocked as a 2006 2500HD hood. I picked the hood up in person (it was a loose hood, not with a vehicle) and took it straight to my painter. I spent another $700 on body work and paint on this hood to put it on my truck. We got it finished and went to put it on the vehicle, only to find out it is a 2002 Silverado 2500HD hood which looks very similar but it is different at the grill opening & where the hood bolts at the hinges and flat out would never work. I called A&B back and the actual owner of the company was extremely rude to me and told me I was wrong and their system was right. Offered zero help in getting me the correct hood or even refunding the original hood. I have almost $1,000 invested in this hood and have zero use for it. Going to have to sell it on marketplace for whatever I can get. Very disappointed with A&B & how the owner handled the situation.
A&B had a fender listed online as undamaged and in good condition. I called once to confirm it was available, they confirmed. I called a 2nd time to confirm it was in good shape, they confirmed. I live 1.5 hours away and made the drive. Upon arrival, they told me to wait a few minutes so the guy could take the part off the vehicle. The parts puller then told me I need to come see the part in person to see if I would be ok with the damage. The fender had a giant gouge in it across the top, totally unusable.
This location is very rude, employees have no good customer service at all, when questions were being asked to insure the part is good quality and what I needed . They were very impatient. I was told a certain amount for a rim which was $35 over the phone and I have the recording and then end up paying $50 when I get there. This place either needs to be shut down or new employees hired this is not acceptable for a business.
Part was listed on Car-Parts as "Undamaged", had someone else pick the part up for me going on that listing and this is what I got. When I called and asked about a refund I was pretty much told that I paid for the part so it's mine.
Every low star review is valid from my experience. From the moment the phone call took place I knew better than to drive an hour away based upon how rude they were on the phone. But they were the only ones who had what I need or so I thought. I called for a seat that was listed. It was tan. I called to confirm it was tan. Sent an employee to pick it up but before he walked out the door I gave them a courtesy call to let them know we'd be driving from an hour away and confirmed one more time that it was tan. Employee got there and they pulled a gray seat. I spoke with puller and he stated "thats the only one we have". Nothing like paying an employee and spending the time & fuel to drive there.
Michelle is SO RUDE AND unprofessional. They don’t give your money back and they string you along.
If michelle Continues to be the person of contact for clients- this place will go out of business.. I have never dealt with someone so nasty, mean, and unhappy!!!!

I need a plastic trim piece for my truck that covers a fuse panel on the interior. The gentleman got it for me and didn’t even charge me for it. Simply said “have a nice day.” I will be using this business for ALL of my used parts needs at my garage now.
I've had the displeasure of having to go here twice, and both times sucked. This place has the worst customer service I've ever experienced.
It's an hour's drive away from where I live, so the day before I could make the trip, I called to check if their actual inventory matches what they have listed on their website. The woman answering the phone was rude and unhelpful.
"Don't bother me, I'm eating lunch!"
Lady, it's 3 pm. Don't pull that BS on me.
Whatever, it can't be that bad in person, right? Wrong.
It's way out in the boonies. There's no parking lot, just a dirt pulloff along a fence next to the road. The customer reception area is a whopping 2 ft x 4 ft of floor space at the front door of their 3000 sq ft building. Customers aren't even allowed to walk in the yard to see if they even have the right car or part. While they pull a part for you, there's no concessions or anywhere to sit and wait.
The second (and last) time I went, I was guided to the yard by an employee so I could verify if they had the correct parts. Despite the fact I was allowed back there for that one time, the other employee pulling some other parts was visibly annoyed by it.
To top it all off, there's a high likelihood they will leave out important pieces for any of the parts you need (like screws, clips, etc.) and still charge top dollar for it.
I'd give this business NEGATIVE stars if I could.
If you need parts for your car, save your time and money and don't go here.
Great staff, and very reasonable prices. Had exactly what I was looking for, transmission. After they pulled it, it was waiting for me at the agreed time. They have tons of great stuff. Highly recommend to all car people. Well worth my 3.5 hour drive there.
Simply rude, unhelpful to the point where it seems deliberate. Simply trying to buy some parts and even that is too much trouble for them. I am not one for writing negative reviews, but these guys were really grim. Read their other reviews, it's eye opening. I take no pleasure in writing this.
We ( my husband and I ) drove 2 hours to come pick up a cylinder head. They needed us here to start taking it off, we get here and we waited in our truck for them to take it off. A man comes and tells my husband to follow him. He went behind him. I realized my husband had took the keys so I go try to find him to turn on my truck. The lady inside says he’s locked back there and I said ok not thinking much. Then proceeds to say he’s locked he wasn’t supposed to go back there ( he was told by a man to follow him ). She had closed the garage door for him not to come out. Not sure what this lady expected out of the situation but she locked my husband inside till she was told by a worker he went back there because they had ordered him to. 0/5 stars for this place if I could. This lady is lucky that I did not decide to tell her something for locking my husband in the back of the yard! She needs to file for retirement!!
The receptionist needs to retire find a new job do something definitely doesn’t need to be in customer service of any sort about as rude as a rabid dog don’t do business here go to Johnson’s down the road ! Cheaper better and actually have a good attitude will not be returning
Asked for specific parts, they said they had them, however they don't have anyone to walk the yard to see what condition the parts are in.. You get there, and the parts are broken, and they want to much money for them... I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere...
Just got off the phone with the receptionist. She was very rude and explained to me that she could not run a total on 4 stock wheels and tires because she was busy eating lunch. I stated that I probably shouldn’t do business with them and hung up. 0/10. If you don’t like your job, find something else to do with your time!!!
I had to drive almost 40 minutes to get to this location and it felt as if "the hills had eyes." A typical mom-and-pop, back hills location. They weren't friendly at all. Their website showed they had 2 parts however when I got there, they only had 1. It took about 20 minutes to retrieve a part that should have only taken about 10 minutes and did I mention they weren't friendly at all? The part they had was in excellent condition and at least the woman said thank you with a half smile grin.
Ordered parts over the phone, they would not ship two pieces of plastic, so I drove almost 3 hours only to find a broken part. This business is listed on car-part.com. Use at your own risk when placing a phone order.
My experience was horrible very terrible customer relation. Very RUDE and UNPLEASANT front Desk lady. Proud and arrogant. I bought a car door form her, got the payment first and dump the door under the rain. Kept me and my daughter sstanding under the rain. BAD BUSINESS experience.
I rented a truck and drove an hour from Atlanta to Griffin to pick up a hood from A&B. Great experience - Michelle was awesome and even started assisting me before they opened. I tried to negotiate a price but she held firm - it was well worth it. Not only that there was another part that I don't think they had but she went out of her way to look up for me! She found it in seconds and I've been looking for two weeks! Rusty helped me get the parts and was just as awesome; he took the hood off and loaded it in my truck in what I believe to be record time. This is a great place and will always start my parts search here first.
They had the parts that I was looking for and at a good price. But it took a while to actually have them in hand as they were in the process of pulling other parts for another customer. So be prepared to wait. Or if you are around the area, maybe pay for the part and then come back once it's pulled. This would save time.
I called and spoke to the office manager, who identified her name as Michelle. I told her I who I was and asked for a specific part and if additional photos could be provided. She told me photos were available online l. I told her these were not good quality, and if she would provide additional. She refused and told me the only pictures were online and the part was offsite. To get to the point... BEWARE this place has unprofessional management and HORRIBLE
customer service. I will spread the word to all my dealer and repair shop network.
If I could give NO STARS OR NEGATIVE STARS as a rating I WOULD! DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY! I never give bad reviews. I know how important negative and positive ratings can affect a company. I ordered a driver side headlight. The woman I spoke to on the phone was very polite but made a mistake by putting an order in for a passenger side headlight instead of the driver side headlight like I needed. I’m not here to bash her. She obviously made a mistake. So I called them back after getting the wrong part and explained to her very nicely that I was sent the wrong part. She apologized and put me on the phone with a rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful man that told me I didn’t know my left from right and it was my fault that the wrong side was sent. Keep in mind that I never told them left or right I told them I needed a DRIVER SIDE HEADLIGHT! I originally paid $30.00 in shipping the first time. Than I was told that I had to pay for the shipping to return the part back which was $31.55 if I wanted the correct part to be sent to me. All I wanted was for them to own up to their mistake and pay for the shipping back to them. If they sent me the correct part in the first place I wouldn’t be in this situation. He than told me it’s too bad they sent the wrong part they don’t warranty shipping. It was their fault but too coward to own up to their mistake. Now the shipping cost is more than the part cost! I will NEVER BE USING A & B auto ever again. Go ELSEWHERE!!! This place is a joke! On top of getting the wrong part they sent me a headlight that was broken but they at least put the broken pieces in the box for me. All in all don’t go here. Save your stress level. If I could give them negative 5 stars I would for their poor customer service
