The store manager’s conduct was completely unacceptable—rude, condescending, and dismissive throughout the interaction. Customer service was severely lacking, and the overall attitude of the staff suggested that customers were an inconvenience rather than a priority. Additionally, employees demonstrated little to no automotive knowledge, which further compounded the poor experience. This was, without question, the worst experience I have had at an Advance Auto location. The level of unprofessionalism was disappointing and has significantly diminished my confidence in the brand, solidifying my decision to take my business elsewhere.

This would be a 5 star, but the outside was completely dark, so i thought it was closed and nearly kept going. I mentioned it to the very friendly and helpful staff, but they informed me the lights were not working. Seems a business like this should be able to keep the outside lights working, at least for safety purposes.

Rude Store Manager my daughter was trying to get a job there called and showed up just very disrespectful if you don’t like your job please stay out the field of dealing with customers cause had that been me taking her there you would see what MamaBear really is in Realtime 💯‼️

This advance auto does not install batteries according to the 2 girls behind the counter so the website is misleading.

Went to get a battery charged they told me 35 minutes we come back battery wasn't even put in the charger and almost gave me the wrong battery🙄 advance needs to do better and customer service was terrible lady gave us massive attitude

Very friendly staff I don't remember the man's name but he helped me and my father remove the pulley off my power steering pump. Amazing place and great staff.

My husband coasted our van (and its ten passengers) into the parking lot with a totally dead battery after a few miles of fritzing electrical power. It was 8:40pm on a Saturday evening. George (literally) ran out in the rain with his test equipment ready and happy to help us. He quickly located the new battery and replaced it, then tested again to be sure it wasn't the alternator before sending us on our two hour trek home. In an age when customer service has taken a backseat and our expectations are at an all-time low, we were blown away by the helpfulness we received moments before closing time at the Advance Auto in Sylvania. Kudos, George! We are so grateful!

Mike Bragg had excellent customer service. I showed him a picture of what I needed and he went to get it. I’ll be coming back for future purchases

Gonna say this place is hit or miss as far as service went there the other day and a gentleman named Ed helped me. I would have to say this was the best customer service I have received there in several years. People like him is what gives makes people want to come back to the store

The staff here have absolutely no clue on what is in stock nor how to accurately tell when a part will be coming in...today was the 3rd time they have told me they had a part and when I drive 20-25 mins to get it they can't seem to find It and then when asked to order it for next day they say they can but then realize they can't cause for some reason it'll take 2 days to come in. So after yesterday I won't be doing business with Advance Auto in Sylvania Ga until they get there act together.

Customer service was spectacular. Helped replace a battery when my Harley broke down. Great experience in Sylvania. Thank you and I cannot recommend enough.

The customer service was great.

The hiring manager obviously having no requirement for basic knowledge of cars.. but at least you won’t be gouged by the prices. They have stopped offering free installation with basic purchases such as bulbs, fluids, wipers, etc. Major disadvantage if you’re someone like me (car-tarded). I go to an auto store for not just products, but for the most basic knowledge and help.

Fast friendly service. The guys are very experienced in there job. They are very helpful. My heater core went out back in March. One of the guys that works there explained to me how to tap it off so my vehicle wouldn't over heat. The way he told me to do it worked. My vehicle is not over heating anymore two thumbs up to a good experienced customer service crew. Very helpful Thanks advance auto

You will not go wrong with this group of people.

These guys really know their stuff! Especially that guy with the beard, he's a really swell dude.
