These guys sold us a rear hub for a Ram 3500. They went the extra mile and sent the bearings, an extra bearing, as well as the nut to hold the hub on. Great service as well as great price. Thanks!

I have been buying used parts from here since 2016. Great customer service. Also a great salvage yard that you can bargain the asking price. An A?C compressor was asking for $125, after bargain $75. And received 15% discount on top the $75, when I paid cash. Warranty term is great. Employee cleaned the part before get into my car.
I ran over a spark plug of all things. Yes, I am that 1% lol! I have difficult tire sizes that have to be ordered. So, I needed a decent used tire to avoid driving on a dough nut on the highway. They had what I needed!
Very nice staff of family members. I have dealt with Tony and his father for several years knowing honest and very knowledgeable about car parts, the best I learned. Got some used tires and rims that we couldn't find anywhere else but the dealer and they are perfect. The guys there were also very friendly and helpful.
Great junkyard/salvage lots of parts for hard to find cars. I got a full rear tail light assembly and wiring harness in great shape, for a 3rd gen Pontiac trans am for vastly cheaper than any other place I could find them (including online). Staff are nice no nonsense bunch, took awhile to get the parts as they were short staffed but what can you do when they were none stop trying to answer phones and handle the in building customers.
Great! Got what I needed. It was a wait, but everyone was helpful and nice. It also saved me a ton of money as opposed to purchasing the part from the dealership.
Absolutely horrible place to do business with. It took a dozen calls over multiple days to get an engine pulled and arranged for pickup. Once there they still had to remove parts off of it and I was there for over an hour to get the engine loaded and paid for. Then they did not drain the oil from the engine and it spilled all over the bed of my truck, draining onto my exhaust and almost catching my truck on fire.
Two employees were also being yelled at for smoking weed while I waited.
Several other customers had also waited over an hour for their parts which they were told were already pulled and ready for pickup.
Do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!
I called in and asked for a fuel pump with sending unit for a 2007 c230 and was told they have it and I asked to double check if it came with the sending unit and was told of course it does and came in waited an hour for the part the next day and was told the part was outside and they put it in a plastic bag for me paid the 107$ took it straight to the mechanic and come to find out after my mechanic tries to replace the fuel pump they didn’t put the sender with it.. very disappointed and will have to call on Monday...
Excellent service! I called to see if they had a cylinder head and Sam wasn't sure if they still had one in stock for my car but he checked and made it seem as if it was his pleasure to do so. And then when they took me to look at it, they made sure I was satisfied with it before I payed. They just don't know about cars and trucks, they really know customer service! Oh and the little kid saw that I had gotten my hands dirty and he went and grabbed me a paper towel. I can't make this up but this is thee very definition of Southern Hospitality!
They try to rip people off now I think it's sad because when someone brings in the car to pay their bills it's not because they want to sell it it's because they have to sell the car and they want to lowball you on the car so they can make more money I think a fair price for the 2011 Ford Escape was more of 1,500 but I was willing to sell it for $1,000 but he tried to lowball me for 500 don't go there if you want to sell a car it's not worth it anymore. If I could give them no stars I would that's how sorry they are now.
After calling a competitor and being told they have my part at another location, driving there and finding out they didn't have it, I was referred to Mitchell's. I called, they had the wheel I needed and drove up there. Sure enough, I bought the wheel and they had a used tire with the TPMS installed on it for less that the competitor's price for just the wheel. The staff was knowledgeable and helpful and the price was fair. I would recommend this place.
They had what we were looking for. The initial price was high but they negotiated with me and lowered the price. Only gave them a 4 Star and not a 5 because their sales office has a eye watering smell and initial price.
I called looking for a rear vent window . They had one available and I was able to come in same day and walked out within 30 minutes with the correct window I needed. Jeff and the other employees were fast and accurate . Price was right, too!!
Horrible customer service. I also don't expected to be greeted like it's chick-fila but I also don't expect to be treated like their doing me a favor. It's a mutually beneficial situation...with that said they are more or less the only game in town unless you want to make the drive to go to another junkyard. And that's probably some of the reason why they can be so rude and condescending and still stay in business....I see the owner just responded to my post. I didn't say anything about y'all not having the part and never said y'all were an "old junkyard". Your response to my post is a great example of your mindset. Your responding to things I never said. And just because you have 200 years of combined experience doesn't mean you have decent customer service. Clearly whoever owns it is intelligent enough to stay in business for a long time and it seems as if treating customers decently isn't necessary for y'all to stay in business. And your not helping customers, your providing a product in exchange for their money
Not sure why all the bad reviews. I didn't go to a junkyard and expect to be greeted like I would walking into a Chickfila. They were quick to serve me and friendly enough. Price was a little more than I was looking to spend but they had what I needed and it wasn't worth my time to drive an hour so to get a cheaper one. Was looking for a spare tire & rim for a truck I picked up. First rim they brought out had the right bolt pattern but center wheel hole was too small to fit my hub. They pulled another and it had the right sized wheel hole that matched my hub. No fault of theirs in my mind, they made it right, I left with what I came to get.
This place has hard to find parts. The customer service was horrible when they asked if there's a way if there was somewhere I can go to where things are more affordable. The person that answered the phone was most absurdly rude. SALVAGE YARD IS SEVERELY OVER PRICED. These guys want $3,500 for a used LS1 engine. You can get a brand spanking new LS1 from extreme Autos out of Florida for $3,800 brand new. With everything on it it's literally a drop-in motor brand new with an LS6 intake upgraded fuel injector. FREE SHIPPING & WARRANTY. Salvage yards are supposed to be about Salvage understand there's money to be made but people look to salvage yard for discounted prices not prices that you will get if you go to other branded companies.
We purchased parts numerous times for our 97 Lincoln Town Car EX and Mitchell's was fast, pleasant, very fair priced. Never a bit of trouble. I have back many times since for myself and other vehicles. A top notch outfit and group of guys that really enjoy what they do and are more than willing to help out the patron. Many shops also recommend this facility too.
I can not recommend more highly. I just left and they took great care of my boyfriend and I. They are closed and I pulled in the lot and explained my tire was cracked and I had children to get back to Marietta. They took their time on their day off to help us and they were professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. I read the reviews on google and felt compelled to share my experience, because all too often the negative experiences are the ones customers share and from what I read, the reviews do not accurately reflect what I saw there AT ALL. My son is biracial and I'm very sensitive to racial issues, however, I in no way shape form or fashion can even imagine these nice men being nasty based on race or creed. I hope the place stays around. There are far too few businesses like this in the country anymore and they are a good group of folks from everything I saw. I appreciate dearly them taking the time to help in their time off, and do it with a sense of kindness and in no way at all did they seem bothered. Just genuinely nice people. Thanks Mitchell's!
I called around 10AM and asked if they had a part, Jeff told me that the computer said they did, but he wanted to have someone check the lot to be sure. He called back about 20 minutes later and confirmed they did have the part, and quoted me $300 plus tax over the phone. When I arrived, the employees took me out into the yard to see the part and make sure it was in good enough shape (I was replacing a door on my truck, they had a vehicle that was the same year/same color as mine so I could avoid paint work). After I gave the OK, they quickly pulled the door and helped me load it into my truck. I paid the exact $300 plus tax I was quoted over the phone and got a quality part. Initially, I was worried about all the negative reviews, but I'm happy to say that the service I received was great, and I would buy from them again!
Worst service ever!!! First I was told, over the phone, that they had the part I needed already off, then had to wait about 35 minutes for them to take it off when I got there, while being told the parts are never taken off until you get there. Great, but tell people that on the phone, not some lie to get them in the door. Then after specifically asking if the hub bearing was good in the spindle I purchased, and was told it was, I got it to the shop in Monroe, only to learn it was in worse shape than the one that came out of my car. I had to drive from Monroe all the way back to Conyers and then back to Monroe. AND was treated as if it was nothing, just a simple mistake!!! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, unless you like rude people!!!
Lied to get us to travel to their yard and then didn't have the exact match part like they promised(different year) and instead of being apologetic or even showing sympathy, they where rude and told us we where full of it. Buyer beware! They change their warranty on parts to fit their needs, they will say one thing and do another. Get parts online, found mine at famous auction website for 1/3 the price (buy it now)and it comes with 30-day warranty. Not to mention it's the exact part I needed, not a similar part that "might work but we dont warranty it" after expensive dealer reprogram.
Entered Mitchell's Used Automotive junkyard establishment on 06-30-16 to purchase three small items, a stick shift cover and two twelve volt power covers (all plastic). In my mind about $10.00 to $15.00 dollars. In comes a 18 year old white female half ass naked wearing cut of jeans and a tank top with no bra. She wanted a tire and an aluminium Honda rim to fit a 2014 Honda Accord. She was asked to pay only $80.00 dollars, I was asked to pay $45.00. I said I wanted to purchase only the stick shift cover, it was still $45.00 dollars. I was told take it or leave it. Now I understand why the Google rating was only 1.8 stars. Every African American and Latino patron that entered the business was either asked or charged twice as much as the White patrons. I hope this resonates and makes a postive impact on whomever reads this post.
This place has been here in Covington forever, they need to be shut down, they are hateful, dishonest, and mostly racist towards people of color. They will make you sit there and wait forever on one part an hour sometimes. They will tell you a price on the phone, then when you get there they will raise the price twice or even three times what they first told you. I hate this place.
This place is a joke. When I called not only were they rude they were racist. I was looking for an engine and they told me they had it and would hold it for me till the next morning. I got there the next day as soon as they opened only to find out they had sold it. The only reason I actually went after they were so rude was because they were the only ones that had what I needed. I do NOT recommended this place. They are horrible and have horrible people working there with absolutely no damn manners.
