Great guys to visit with. I took his yard truck out to a vehicle he pointed me in the direction of and attempted to pull the part I needed but it was too hard to reach for my bad back. He said to call back on Monday and he'd get his helper to remove it if needed. My mechanic in the meantime got the part from his source, but I will be back in the future as I have done over the last 25 years!
I had called earlier in the week asking about a transmission on a vehicle. He said that he had it and he was going to pull it for me. I then called back the day before I was supposed to come pick it up and he said "Don't have it, sorry, bye." Then hung up. Definitely won't be bringing my business back here and don't recommend other people do. Very rude old man.
I called to see if they might have a driver side front door for a Chevy van, the guy would tell me that they had one but he couldn't tell me if it was manual or power. I need a door with power windows and locks. I asked could someone look and let me know because I can get a manual one locally. The guy hung up on me. Really nice people, huh. They must be making so much money they don't need my business. Very rude.
I called looking for a part and the man is very rude! Before I finished talking he told me he couldn't help and disconnected the call!! Very unprofessional and rude!!
I called to see if they had a motor for my vehicle. Whoever the guy was said no than proceeded to say no we do not thank u for calling and just hung up. I thought that was so rude because he didn't even let me finish talking. I hope every customer don't get treated like this. He was very rude and I don't appreciate that so I want ever be calling there again.....
Rude and dishonest. Drove 1hr 20min to look at old truck he had. Add said it was a beast and engine was strong. Got there and it didn’t even run. Guy said he didn’t care if he sold it or not. No remorse for not disclosing the truck didn’t run. He’s a ornery old man that has no problem wasting your time
The nicest people you ever want to meet. If you need it chances they have it. If your into antique cars to fix up you can spend the whole day looking around in the yard.

The employee I tried working with was ornery at best and I even pulled the part myself and he would not even try working with me on a price. Would not recommend to anyone looking for parts. Try eBay or a parts store first hundred percent.

Scandalous. Makes a verbal agreement til he has your car in his yard then renegs. He had me in a bind. He knew it and took advantage of it. I suggest you steer clear. 78 years old and still dont know better. Enjoy my $50. Use it to buy a bible. I surely hope your heirs have some scruples. Jerk.
Great place, people actually talk to you, and take there time, so that you do get to understand #1 WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU VEHICLE AND NUMBER 2 THEN THEY EXPLAIN HOW IT MAY OR MAY NOT BE FIXED AND THEN #3 THEN THEY DOSE EXPLAIN PRICE TO YOU, AND WHY!!! DEFINITELY WOULD RECOMMEND "MARTIN'S SALVAGE " TO ANYBODY WITH CAR PROBLEMS!!!
