A huge thank you to Sidney from Sidney Rigdon Towing and Rec. for going above and beyond. Hit a deer on North I75 in Valdosta Georgia. Very scary situation as we are from Ontario Canada and had no idea where we were and what to do…also still in shock. Not only was the tow pick up quick but he was so helpful in trying to get us safely to a hotel…when that didn’t work he invited us to stay at his shop for the night, until we can organize how to get home.
My faith in humanity has been restored.

Highly recommend! I was able to schedule and receive my toe all within LESS than 45 minutes! The team member, Caleb, was awesome. He even took the initiative to assess under the hood to see if he could give me any kind of indication on what he thought could be wrong with it. Super personable! Beware! Whoever is leaving these 5 star reviews must be his buddies that he doesn’t rip off. He overcharges and doesn’t operate per valdosta city ordinance and lowndes county ordinance. Chief of police had him refund me $180 after I did my research and sent a few nasty emails/ complaints.
Went to leave on my lunch break from work in the pouring rain whenever I realized I had locked my keys in the car. I called my local repair shop and they recommended Sidney Rigdon Towing & Recovery. They were there within 20 minutes of calling to unlock my car and they did not charge me an arm and leg like most companies in the area. Very professional and top notch customer service. Can’t say enough good things about the service we received. My 92 year old mom’s car broke down and I live out of town. She was so upset but I found Sydney’s on google and read the good reviews. They picked her up quickly and took her to her mechanics shop. He then went an extra step further and called me to let me know she was good and my sister-in-law was picking her up. My mom was upset and I was worried sick. He went above and beyond to take very good care of my mom and me. My mom raved about how kind he was and how clean his truck was and how professional he looked in his uniform. Highly recommend!
We tried to turn our pick up truck around on a small dirt road and the back tires went into a ditch as we backed up. We called Sidney Rigdon Towing. I had gotten my truck stuck decently bad in a ditch so I called Mr. Rigdon. He came out very speedily even with it being at midnight as well. He himself was very attentive to my vehicle in trying not to scratch my truck as it was up against a ditch embankment. He also is priced very well to boot. I will most definitely use Mr. Rigdon again and recommend him to anyone!!!!
tried to charge me 125 to pop a lock. also the guy was rude and extremely unprofessional. fyi the valdosta pd will come out and do it for free, so don’t call these a-holes if you lock your key in your car
Sidney's towing service is above and beyond excellence. He drove three hours to Eufaula, AL to tow my truck back to my mechanic in Valdosta. Top notch equipment, no nonsense service, a very professional job. Would use his service again without hesitation.
