my car was impounded on the same day 7/10 at 8:01pm, I had called around trying to first find out where my car was towed but no one could give me information same night kept getting excuses that I would have to wait until the morning to find out if they had my vehicle. Next morning I eventually found the towing company which happens to be one of the towing companies that I had previously called the night prior. I had asked to get an estimate of how much it would be to get it out and they stated that they couldnt give that info over the phone due to a "privacy act" so when I got there, I was told that it would be $868.00 and for one day not even 24hrs. Eventually they took at least $200 off but I still believe that the prices are ridiculous even looking at the receipt they charge a qty of 2 for storage when it hadnt been two days and what is a light duty wrecker fee for $400. They are adding all these outrages fees for a tow for less than 24hrs. Then after receiving my car my car was running kind of weird and was shaking took it to auto shop and was told that my tire was warped or bent and suspension and steering repair and that it could of happened when they tied the car down at the towing company stating that tying it too tight could cause it. Which now Im out of additional money. I reported them to the BBB and this was their response.

Was in a wreck was waiting on original insurance directed tow company that was going to be 2 & 1/2 hours away - police officer called Wrecker 1 - Steve and his team are amazing! They have helped me so much! Truly thankful for their assistance and their help navigating everything.
Our car was stolen in Florida and left crashed in Georgia. When we heard about what happened and the price we had to pay, we were a little shocked and thinking if it was even worth getting the car. But after talking to the boss, and having a genuine conversation with him, he understood our situation and helped us out. There’s nothing better than getting to talk and deal with people who help you out according to your situation. Can trust 100%!
SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! They will gouge you on pricing and falsify the services they provided. The lady in the office lies and advised an employee of our said they had a gun, which was FALSE (they don't even own a gun)!! The lady became quite nervous when we asked the police to play back the video in the office and then all of a sudden didn't want to press charges. GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE!!!
So the reason I'm even aware this company exists, is because my drivers parked at The Home Depot in Forest Park, GA. He said he had permission from the night time manager, but I'm been driving long enough to know that doesn't matter unless all management is on the same page. I don't park at businesses I'm not doing business with especially long term or for breaks. The driver is responsible for the ticket or paying for the release of the equipment which they did. Now the reason here is because my truck wasn't in the condition in these pictures prior to it being towed. Somehow the fairings having gone missing, they were giving a number for me to call instead of insurance information. All I want is for my truck to be back to the condition prior to being towed the proper way.
I’ve never experienced better service from any wrecker service. On top of help with me vehicle, they changed my tire and put air in my second vehicle IN THE RAIN!! No better service in the county.
Only 5 stars available but needs to be 10! They are all very helpful and quick to handle anything we need. Paul is special, very honest and brusk....but they GIT'R DONE!
This company is absolutely predatory and unethical. I was charged an outrageous $14,000 for a tow that was only a couple of miles. There was no clear explanation of the cost upfront, and when I received the bill, I was completely shocked. This kind of pricing is nothing short of a scam, taking advantage of people in vulnerable situations. When I tried to question the charge, there was no willingness to provide a reasonable justification. I strongly urge others to stay away from this company. If you don’t want to be overcharged and taken advantage of, find a more honest and reputable towing service!
The wrecker showed up promptly and resolved my trailer brakes locked up issue quickly so I was able to get back on the road quickly. Definitely recommend their service.

Safety Was The Priority Today In Henry County Georgia
I had the opportunity to do a ride along today with the folks at Wrecker 1, in Henry County Georgia.
I must say I was thoroughly impressed with not only the response to the scene but most importantly the safety aspect on scene.
Upon arrival on scene, advanced warning and precise blocking techniques were demonstrated to create the safest environment possible at the accident scene.
Reflective vests, reflective pants as well as reflective gloves were used.
The blocking units both utilized arrow boards to assist in directing approaching traffic and were positioned far enough away from the casualty to create a safe barrier for the wrecker operators.
Furthermore the jackknife tractor trailer was recovered in record time, the roadway was opened and traffic was able to flow in a timely manner.
Safety of first responders has always been and will always be a major concern. It was comforting to witness a company that does everything they can to ensure the safety of their employees.
No roadway scene can ever be 100% safe because of distracted and reckless drivers but employers taking the initiative to provide the safest possible environment needs to be an industry standard.
Unfortunately not every company does nor will they do the same and if they do not you need to voice your opinion to them.
Remember speaking up for your safety and fellow co-workers safety will ultimately save a life.
Companies that will not provide the necessary gear, training and advanced warning truly do not care about your safety. It may be their equipment but It’s your life on the line.

Horrible HORRIBLE HORRIBLE! Worst experience in my life. If I was you, I would run and never look back. I broke down today and needed a jump, I call hero did the whole 9 to avoid getting a tow. Hero sent another company who called PD because my bumper was in the road so police came. They insisted I needed a tow. And things just go down hill from there. The tower was Steve. He came and right out the gate he had an attitude. Very rude and was talking to me just any kind of way! Almost as if he was better/greater than me. Steve had no people manners and refused to answer any of my questions or would just said “I don’t know”. That was just the start of things. I ended up getting the car towed to wrecker 1 and got in the tow truck with Steve. Scariest ride ever! On top of being rude Steve is texting and driving!!! Refuse to put his phone down even after I said something about it. He tells me “this is an emergency vehicle, I can do that” completely lie! Steve was just HORRIBLE and if I could I wouldn’t even give them the 1 star!!!
IF you can help it DO NOT use this company!!! My truck lost air pressure in the center lane in Traffic at mile marker 221 I called the Henry County Sheriffs department to detour traffic to prevent any accidents …..Henry County Sheriff department called Wrecker 1 to remove the truck from travel lane to the shoulder which only took about 15mins!!!!

Full on blowout pulling 17k 5th wheel trailer. Could not find anyone to help me out except excuses. Somehow found Wrecker 1 and they are the Ultimate one stop take care of you with a smile people! They had the equipment and knowledge to get me back on my travels. I went from worrysome to really feeling taken care of. They had no excuses just solutions and delivered in a professional manner.
When I first called, the admin staff was giving such great advice that she almost solved my issue free of charge. What I'm saying is that they are more concerned about taking care of you that they will risk losing a paying job to help you out instead of just taking your money! Pure ethics here! I carry their number in my contacts now as my first call when I'm with my trailer. I'm a full time RV'er in the picture I'm the old guy on the left. Thanks to the Wrecker 1 staff!!
My perception of Wrecker 1 is that they have some sort of "racket" going on. They were called by the Henry Police without my consulting or agreement even though I was on the scene. They refused to tow the totaled car to my house 1.5 miles down the road and said their policy is to strictly tow to their yard 3.7 miles away. They wanted $654 the next day to release my car. Refused to give me a breakdown of the charges (how much to tow 3.7 miles? how much 1 night storage?). Barbara at first lied that they had to flip the car on its wheels before they could tow: I had pictures to prove otherwise. They got it on the tow truck in less than 10 minutes and I was there the whole time. My understanding is this shameless company gouges their coerced customers wrestled by the Henry Police Dept contracting them.
