As expected from a towing service, don’t answer phones and the sign at the door (which it’s not visible unless you stand in front of the door) says it’s by appointment only. How can you make an appointment if they don’t answer the phone? Sad but, I’m not surprised. Be prepared to deal with…tow truck people. I would love to know the connection with the police department to get this business priority.
Do you guys ever answer the phones? Tried reaching you on an impound for at least 5 hours with no voicemail or answer.

They left our cash in the glovebox and didn’t steal it. Less than any tow I’ve had to pay before, only $260 to get my car back the next day. Very kind, respectful staff.

I was having a hard time towing my own vehicle and the guy walked up and helped your tow me! God must have been in his heart cuz he didn't charge me was very friendly helpful and recommend to anybody! Thank you again and God bless you
This morning I had battery problem with my truck and i was on my way home with my kids in the back. I stopped by the BP to pump some gas and unfortunately after pumping gas I tried starting my truck and nothing happened. I had a good friend tried to help jump my truck but no luck. I asked Terry's Towing if they could tow my truck home down the road from them. The guy that towed my truck tried everything he could to start my truck to save me the stress. I was so blessed I had people come up and check on me and tried their best. Even the tow truck guy. Thank you Terry's Towing Services for your help! I definitely love yalls friendly staff!
Known Darrel for years, and recently dealt with Rodney as well. Have towed a few of my vehicles in the past as far back as High school in 2016, always had good experiences.
I got in a wreck a week prior to this review. My car was taken to Terry's. I was just waiting on insurance to take over. I read the recent reviews of this place and was discouraged. Especially after calling and there's not a voice-mail set up. I did call on a Saturday though. I chalked it up to the office possibly being closed on weekends. I called again this morning with no answer. I did receive a call back though! I work in a busy office as well and I understand workload. I understand customers can be extremely rude because nerves are already shot. The office staff I dealt with was extremely kind. (I didn't catch any names unfortunately) I cut it close to their closing time to clean out my car and retrieve my belongings. I forgot to take a screwdriver to take my tag with me. They offered their screwdriver to use after I was done with getting my belongings. While with my car, I noticed it's not screws, it's bolts and I'll need pliers. When signing the paperwork in the office, I tell them this, they cannot find one. They were kind enough to offer for me to come back with my own tools the next day. I was still sitting in the parking lot and one of the women came out and said one of the drivers said I could use their pliers. The driver was kind as well and took my tag off for me. My experience was great.
I will just say this for others who may get discouraged when looking at the reviews as I did. All of the staff, from drivers to office, they are meeting most of you while you're going through so much. Can you imagine what they deal with on a daily basis? Alot of people need to point blame at others when things are not going well. They did not say it, but i could see it. The exhaustion and standing on high alert never knowing when the person in front of them will become hateful.
Treat people with kindness and you will receive kindness in return. We are all human.

Would give zero. The company doesn’t have voicemail and doesn’t answer their phones. They sat on my car an entire week after many attempts by my insurance company and myself calling to get it released and to a collision center.
This place was terrible! The only nice thing about it was one woman in the office when I went to pay the ridiculous amount they charge you ( not the blonde …. Rude as can be !) and the religious decor in their entrance which is kinda ironic considering they price gouge you when they know you’re already having a hard time and when you consider their demeanor. Like I said I only talked to one nice woman whose name I unfortunately cannot remember in the office when I paid but that was the only thing decent about this place . Call someone else ( if you have a choice , I didn’t ) although I’ve yet to come across a towing/wrecker service who didn’t try to get money anyway they can with fees and whatnot even for a short time and a SHORT way … I live like 5 minutes down the road and had to pay like $200 to get it to my house from their yard … plus all the fees from a weekend in their yard …. I believe the total was just under $700 …. Ridiculous! They only get one star for the ONE nice woman who helped me .
Ps I had more pics of their entrance plastered with bible verses and more religious decor bc I just thought it was so wrong the way they treated people and displayed all of that but I must have deleted it as this was in October and I haven’t gotten around to reviewing it yet (which is also why my prices on here aren’t the exact amount but they are not far off I promise u that ) . I’m pretty sure it’s already pictured on here in another review I saw bc they thought the same thing .
I really needed assistance with getting my vehicle out of impounding during non-business hours. Heather coordinated a Sunday appt for me with Ms Sheila and I was able to get my car out just in time to pick up mu daughter across state lines! They really helped me when I needed it most. Thank you!
The worst customer service I have ever experienced. What professional company tells you to pay them $200 to not take your car when you only needed to go 2miles down the road? Keep in mind I called them, there was no accident. They told me that I had to pay them cash because it’s the only form of payment they accept. Patricia is who greeted me at the desk and said that I needed 3 different proofs of ownership for MY car and then proceeded to tell me they added 2 more fees when they brought the car to the lot. I am a Christian and have never seen so much greed and deceit from a company who claims to be a Christian business.
If I could give no stars I would. I had an accident and they picked up my car as I was being transported to the hospital before I could even call a tow truck. I couldn’t go get my car immediately but they told me that it was $350 to get my car as soon as they towed it. I asked if I could get my belongings and they said I could. I go up there to get my belongings and they added fees on top of fees because of the length of my cars stay and I told them I would cut the loss, I only asked to get my belongings. They told me to get my belongings I would have to pay $350 and give them my title. I asked if they had their policy’s in writing and the lady rudely responded “I said its $350 plus your title and that’s what it is” they are very unprofessional and to top it all off it took a them almost an hour to figure out where the paperwork for my car was. They are “legally” extorting people and getting away with it. Family owned just means they will never get fired for treating people any type of way. If you’re of need of a tow go elsewhere and please do not believe the fake reviews on here.

They towed my car from the scene of an accident even though we didn't call them and told them we did not want or need their service, the police called them instead of asking what service we wanted to use. He said he was taking the car, it would cost $350 or I can keep the car and just pay him $350. Pretty unbelievable. Should never be forced into using a service I don't want. Felt like extortion because he did take my car since I didn't have $350 to pay him not to. It would have cost little to nothing to rent a trailer from uhaul and tow my car home with my other car since I have a hitch. Just unbelievable.
Horrible service, the lady at the desk was very rude and then when we got back to my car (I have liability) she made a comment saying “shoulda had full coverage” to be rude and was very unprofessional, considering I’m dealing from injury from this very wreck. Then proceeded to make a mistake on the receipt that was %100 there fault demanding more money or they are not towing my vehicle to the collision center even though I paid and signed the release and receipt paid them and then get a call after I’m 30 mins towards home Then proceeded to deny me business even though my vehicle is in their tow yard. I asked to speak with an owner and they told me no would not even give a name or number. Save yourself a headache and avoid this theifs den.
They will not answer the phone nor return calls. After a tow from an accident, we received a business card with 3 phone numbers. One goes to a voicemail box that is not set up. It’s obvious this number has a person hitting send to voicemail and is screening the calls. The second has a voicemail box that is full. The third number is infinitely busy and must be an off the hook landline. They have 2 Google business pages, same business but the first one seen in search has more reviews and is highly rated. That phone number is the cell of Travis. I tried calling and texting and even left messages, no return call ever. They are running a game to get your business and sit on your car for storage fees. The last day my insurance would allow they finally processed the car. Invoiced my insurance for 3 days of storage and tow $710. This place deserves zero stars. Lazy, rude, disorganized, greedy. Family owned and run means no one gets fired for poor service. When I showed up in person to figure out what was going on, there were 3 visible people in the office. They kept passing me off to the next person, then the woman tells me, “You’re not our only customer “. What sort of business uses that excuse… one who client blames. I was as polite as I could be but upset. They obviously think customers are the problem. They have too much business to handle effectively or efficiently. If you can avoid using this company please consider anyone else.
IF you can manage to get Terry’s Auto on the phone you will experience the worst customer service in the business. My car was towed 3 miles from the scene of an accident and was given a $330 tow bill, not to mention the outrageous storage fees. The debris from the accident was swept up and poured into the backseat. The lady at the desk was incredibly rude and refused to allow me to sign paperwork, demanding I give her the names of other towing companies that were cheaper, as I had mentioned to her there were many. PLEASE do not become another victim of Terry’s. Their reviews speak for themselves.
Abysmal service. Returned my vehicle with mud caked on steering wheel, all over the interior and everywhere they put their filthy hands. They took offense to me pointing this out then refused to clean it. SHAME
My car was involved in an accident yesterday morning and taken to this company’s lot. I called them twice yesterday informing them I planned to come get my personal items. When I arrived this morning at nine, I was informed I didn’t have the proper paperwork to access my car. At no point was I ever told I would need more than my license. After the 1.5 hour round trip to my house and back, I arrived to find my car being moved to the salvage yard my insurance uses. Now I’m going to have to spend all day chasing down my car just to get a few things out of it due to the horrible customer service of Terry’s Towing. Thanks for nothing.
My daughter was in an accident and Terry's Towing was the towing service on call. I was given a card by the driver with a Flowery Branch address, he never mentioned that there was also a Gainesville location, which is where he towed her car to. You can not go on a Saturday or Sunday to clean out your personal belongings without an appointment, we were never given this information by the driver. She is a college student and works full time. By the following Wednesday, they had released her car to the insurance company without consent, with all her personal belongings inside!! She had to miss more time from work to track her car down! The lady on the phone never apologized for the inconvenience. I would not recommend this towing service.
Well all the stuff we have went through this week I just wanted to say that they were very helpful and nice the nicest people that I have meeting that worked for a towing company! Every time I called never got an attitude! And when we went up there to get the car stuff handled the lady I can’t remember her name blonde hair . She was very helpful and kind I’m sorry I forgot your name! And there was another person u there about his car also. She handled everything wonderfully! And just want her to know thank you if she sees this ! And if the boss sees this she was awesome and five stars from me!!!!!
Called today to get an estimate to tow my car to the body shop. I was asked to call back in 5 min. Weird but ok I called back and got the estimate. I asked if we could schedule the tow for Wednesday morning and was told to call back Wednesday and see how busy they were. I explained that I was going on vacation the next week so confirming a tow was important so I could have my car repaired while I was out of town. I then asked if they could schedule the tow for Thursday morning and I was told to call and see how busy they were. Needless to say I was not very confident about this company towing my car. I called another towing company and scheduled a tow for tomorrow with one phone call. They were also cheaper.
I have to give the highest compliments to Terry's towing. I haven't met such helpful and humble towing family as Terry and his family. Rodney you helped me more than y'all will ever know. Not only did they tow my dually, but they got the tools and hammers out to fix my truck and charged my batteries so that I could get my truck home. And then Rodney had the decency to follow me to take my car home and then brought me back to my truck.
I don't like to bash companies, but other companies that I called didn't even care to know information and didn't want the tow. Terry's Towing Services went above and beyond to help me. So if you are looking for a respectful, safe towing experience and humble towing family call Terry's Auto Towing Services. Thank you for your respect Rodney, Terry and boys, you will be the only towing company I'll use in the future.
Best family owed business I have come across in a long time. They picked me up after I had been wrecked headed home to North Carolina. I was treated like family the whole time. Being 300 miles from home it was great meeting everyone and knowing they truely cared about my safety and let me stay there till I was picked up. If you need a reliable towing company don't hesitate give them a call they will take care of you.
There is no other Towing Service than Terry's Towing!! I've used them a couple of times whether it was for towing my vehicle, unlocking my vehicle, or just calling to get some good advice. They have always been very Professional, Trustworthy, and are always very willing to help out when in need! I love each and everyone of them and I thank y'all so much!!
Terry's Towing is one of the most professional tow services I have ever used. I have never had to wait long for them to come and assist me. They are the type that will give there own shirt off of their back to help someone in need. If you ever need a tow call Terry's!
