Southside Wrecker Service was amazing! The dispatcher was very communicative and made everything simple. I was told a truck would arrive within 30–40 minutes, and Miranda showed up right on time. Miranda took great care of my vehicle. Since it sat low, Miranda made sure to unload it safely and placed it exactly where I wanted it. I would definitely use Southside Wrecker again.

My car got towed here. I paid $375 cash to get my car out of here, just for me to discover that my front passenger tire letters on the tire are half scraped off all around the tire with small slices and holes, causing me to have to get a new tire. I never thought I’d have to deal with my tire being mistreated here. This is unacceptable.

Southside Wrecker handled my vehicle with care, and promptly took the vehicle to the nearest tire shop for me. Angela, the dispatcher, was communicative and accommodating to my needs during the stressful time of arranging all the logistics involving transport.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If I could give 10 stars, I would! AMBER is the reason South Side Wreckers should be everyone’s first call. I had the absolute pleasure of speaking with Amber, and I cannot put into words how incredible my experience was. From the moment she answered the phone, it felt like I was talking to someone who genuinely cared—not just about my situation, but about making things right. She was kind, patient, professional, and lightning fast with answers. It honestly felt like she had a superpower for solving problems. She didn’t just help me—she completely turned my stressful situation around and made me feel like a VIP the entire time. Amber went way above and beyond. She followed up, explained everything clearly, and even cracked a joke that had me smiling during a tough day. You can’t train that kind of heart—Amber was born for this. I experienced a horrific accident on July 11, 2025, after a couple of days in the hospital I had to go by Southside wrecker to retrieve my belongings out of my car and I met Ms Amber at the window, she was professional and very compassionate but most of all very helpful for my needs and I just want everyone to know this is a very special company with helpful people to service me public, thank you, Anthony Russell

Unbelievably unprofessional ! Staff was rude, pushy, and nasty and not to mention the tow truck driver damaged my vehicle in more ways then one; they Tore my lower radiator hose in half, popped my back bumper out of place, and bent my front bumper. When I called back to address the issue with PROFESSIONALISM I might add they got nastier

Edit: I spoke to Jeff and he apologized for the bad service. He was super kind and offered if my plan didnt work out to contact him and he would arrange a tow on them. He kept his word and had a tow at my house within 45 mins of my call. James was very kind. I am very happy to see that the client does matter to this company and that they make it right. Worst company and customer service ever! We called at 5 am for a tow. We were told it will take 3 hours which was perfectly fine. Before the man hung up i specifically asked if he needed my address and he said no they will call to get all that info (which i thought was weird). 4 hours pass no call. I call them back and a lady answers and states she has no info about us. She said that call was made to the night shift and we are the day shift. I told her what happened and asked when the next available tow is. She stated early that afternoon. I asked so since it was their office that made a mistake is there not anything they can do for us, she responded with an attitude saying i didnt ask her if there was anyrhing they can do i asked her when the next available tow is. This is ridiculous. They're company made a mistake and i get treated with an attitude.

My vehicle was involved in an accident and was towed to this company ! The guy who picked up my car was very nice, as well as professional. When I began calling the office speaking to the representatives over the phone. The professionalism changed. They it was two of them! They were very rude, and unprofessional! The first representative I got she was very smart by her mouth. Then had the nerve to tell me “ ma’am I’m not getting smart with you” after I told her she was, she just instantly put me on hold transferring me to another smart mouth unprofessional representative. People if your looking for a tow company please go else where! This is not a place you want to spend your money! I wish I knew before my vehicle was taken there. Unfortunately, I wasn’t aware. All I know is a tow company pulls up and a nice polite gentleman gives me a card explaining where my vehicle would be taken.. People being unprofessional and just being ugly is not a good look for a business! Get some class in there!

Highly Recommended Tow Truck Service (Southside Wrecker)! I can’t thank [Danny] enough for the outstanding service. My vehicle broke down unexpectedly, and within a short time, the tow truck arrived. The driver was professional, friendly, and clearly experienced. He handled everything quickly and carefully, making sure my vehicle was secure and that I felt comfortable throughout the process. It’s not often you find someone who goes above and beyond, but that’s exactly what he did. If you ever need a tow, this is the company to call!

Called these folks earlier the lady was so nasty. Typical behavior from one of our "sisters" when they in a position where they think someone need them. I know she live a miserable life. Just rude as hell. Update: yesterday March 28, 2025 the hold the police had on my vehicle was lifted. I drove all the way from Columbus to southside just to see my vehicle had been COMPLETELY STRIPPED. mechanical parts, personal property, and sensitive personal information. The vehicle was positioned in such a way I’m almost positive it was an inside job! All while being on hold by the police. I spent MONTHS ON TOP OF MONTHS trying to get information on my vehicle. I need ANSWERS. Update 4/16/2025: why you lie like that? Your employee told me theft was an issue at the lot and LITERALLY TOLD ME the people who run the lot will not try to help people like me. And I’m sure you know what I mean when I say “people like me”. I’m a senior advisor for an insurance company so I know how this work. Even the women who answer the phone should know I been calling and every single time they wouldn’t release no information cuz the vehicle was on a police hold. I been in contact with the police dept forever but come to find out the officer who put the vehicle on hold is no longer on south Fulton police force. THATS WHY IT TOOK SO LONG FOR ME TO GET ANSWERS. and today this lady tell me that management refuse to talk to me and I “need to” come get my car. Don’t worry we can take it to court. And I’ll repeat it again. YOUR EMPLOYEE, OUT THEIR OWN MOUTH TOLD ME “YOU DIDNT HEAR THIS FROM ME, BUT PEOPLE CAR GET STRIPPED HERE ALL THE TIME, THE OWNERS ARE..(of a different race) THEY WONT HELP PEOPLE LIKE YOU” now yall can respond with all the bs you want. If I could give these people 0ZERO stars I would. I was mislead about a towing service. My husband was VERBALLY TOLD that the towing service would be $226. We was VERBALLY given the TOTAL OF $226. We booked the services. My husband took off of work to make sure he was at home, because we was told VERBALLY that someone had to be home when the car is dropped off. We just received a phone call stating that we was MISQUOTED and the service would be almost $600. After we ask for a manager, we was RUDELY told that the car hasn't been picked up yet and they caught their mistake, and there's NOTHING THAT THEY COULD DO, AND THEY WOULD NOT HONOR THE PRICE THAT THEY GAVE US. THIS IS NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! YOU TOLD US THE PRICE AND WE AGREED! YOU SUPPOSE TO HOLD YOUR END OF THE BARGAIN EVEN IF THERE WAS A MISTAKE MADE ON YOUR PART. ITS CALLED BEING A BUSINESS OWNER AND HAVING CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND AND WILL TELL EVERYBODY ABOUT THIS TRANSACTION. THIS IS VERY FRUSTRATING ESPECIALLY WHEN SOMEONE MAKE ARRANGMENTS FOR A CAR DELIVERY AND TAKE OFF OF WORK. This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with a professional company. My vehicle was sent to their facility after a collision and I immediately called the next morning. I was told there was no record of my vehicle after giving all the information . My car was supposedly located once they had my tag number, however I was updated that that was not the case and the car was still not identified. I went back and forth for 3 days with the workers explaining that it was sent there, confirmed with police at the scene, and went in person to get it rectified just to be sent away with a nonchalant attitude from the employee and zero empathy or assistance. Instead of waving the fees of the days my car was “lost” in their own lot, I was informed it would cost $300 to have it released and sent to a shop for repairs. Completely unprofessional company that takes zero accountability for their errors. Please do not use them!!

Quick and easy impound database search by the after-hours dispatcher. However he couldn't tell me how much per day cost is for vehicle hold. In addition, they're closed on Sunday so I really hope they are not charging me for a day they aren't even open for me to retrieve the car! Does anyone know about this?

Terrible! Only reason I was able to post was because I had to give one star. Now the tow driver was awesome. The lady who answered the phone was awesome. Once you get in touch with the woman who deals with vehicles that were brought there because of an accident, that's when everything goes downhill. They are trying to make up fee charges which is 100% against what the certified document stated, which by the way was undated. How can you charge a gas fee for a vehicle that has been sitting at the lot??? The lady was very rude and was unable to answer basic and general questions because it was not my car. All I know is if you get a bill or in this instance and notice telling you the charges and outlining additional charges that will accrue, how can you all of a sudden tell me we owe more fees than was listed? And then the lady hung up when I pressed her on this! Terrible customer service.

I expected nothing less from you in your response. Thank you for confirming my complaint concerning horrible customer service! My insurance have nothing to do with your service. The truck was stolen off a vacant lot while I was on vacation and the truck have insurance. I didn't lie or make up anything in my review as you stated in your response, everything I stated in my review was the truth and I didn't omit anything. Yes, I spoke to the lady at the Department of Transportation, she explained to me the law that I was asking you to explain which no one could that's why I called her. Once she explained the law to me, my husband came to pay for the truck and the bill still wasn't correct and the same rude lady at the front desk was there still being nasty. Why wasn't that addressed in you response? She was arguing with another customer when we came back. There are other reviews on Google complaining about the same person but no response to they're reviews. And yes the internet was down when we came to pay for the vehicle, i was not going to pay 100s of dollars without bill or receipt especially from a company that has already changed the bill twice. The same rude lady was still nasty about the internet not working as if it's the customer fault that your internet isn't working. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Outstanding start to finish! Driver got to me in record time. Your driver handled my S550 like is was his own. Man was he knowledgeable. The power was gone and the rear wheels locked but he handled that like a true professional. I believe I got the absolute best person for the job and the experience left me totally satisfied. They are so professional, the tow truck driver did a great job towing my truck to the nodyshop. He came and did his work fast and easy and he didn't need any help on anyone to load my truck on to the towing truck. The driver went under the vehicle to tied and secured everything under the truck to start pulling on reverse. Days before I had called a different towing company and the driver that towed my vehicle back home had to ask my son for help. Southside wreck your driver was so professional, I really liked the truck driver did hes job. 5 STARS FOR THIS DRIVER. Thank you Southside Wreck.
