I’ve been a long time occasional visitor to Speedy’s when the need’s justified the trip. Prices seemed to have almost always been determined on the spot when checking out and never really determined by a bona fide established price sheet like other U pull yards (think CTV in Moultrie). Unfortunately, during my most recent visit a couple of days ago I was informed that not only is Speedy’s no longer a “U Pull” yard, but customers actually aren’t even allowed on the yard at all due to the rise of insurance costs during the past couple of years. With that said, Speedy’s is now a “pay someone else to pull parts” yard. Disappointing and indeed the end of an era.
Had a great experience! I needed to replace a 2010 Chevy malibu wheel rim. True to its name, Speedy's hooked me up-quickly! An employee pulled the part & an unexpected happy bonus resulted: the tire was left in place + in perfect condition = saved some real ca$h! I'll definitely be back in the future if ever a need be. 🐸 (Their payment policy is *cash only* & theres a $1.00 fee just to enter the yard so be prepared accordingly.)
