Excellent service at LexTechs of Atlanta! The staff is professional, honest, and very knowledgeable about Lexus vehicles. They serviced my RX 350h, used the correct oil, and finished right on time. Fair pricing and no pressure upselling. Highly recommend and will definitely return!

I had really high hopes in LexTechs of Atlanta from what I had heard from some other customers, but unfortunately, I can't say the same. I struggled in giving this review between an honest mistake or feeling like I could've been taken if I didn't do my research ahead of time....
But after much thought I can't help but feel that I could've walked out of there with an $8k hole in my pocket had I not known my vehicles Carfax history ahead of time, a service history that was completed by LexTechs the prior 3 years until I purchased the vehicle.
Almost $3200 dollars of the $8k was service they had done just over 20k miles prior, that included a timing belt, CV joints, brake flush, and control arms. How is it that a "seasoned" service tech does not know to look at a vehicle's history within their own system?? Adding that when I called out the items that were done previously, he pretty much shrugged them off and asked, "can we get started"?
No thanks, it was the reminder I needed in why I try and do things myself, which I did in actually servicing what I could, and will hopefully find a trusted service center in the future.Jan 27, 2026 -
I started bringing my vehicle to this location about a year and a half ago, once my dealer warranty ended. I trusted that maintenance was being performed according to the manufacturer’s schedule. Unfortunately, that does not appear to be the case.
Recently, I received a great oil change offer from Lexus and decided to take my vehicle there since the service light was on for the 5K interval service. I was surprised to learn that an oil change was not due because I had recently had service performed in September under a 5k mile interval. This was surprising, as LexTech had already changed the oil in March and then again in September even though the vehicle had not reached the 10k mile interval. This was never mentioned by the service advisor at the time.
Additionally, during the March service, I was informed that my water pump was failing and needed replacement. Despite having an extended warranty, I was told it would not fully cover the repair and that I would need to pay out of pocket due to labor time limitations based on the pump’s location. This explanation did not seem right.
I took the vehicle to Christian Brothers Automotive down the road, where the water pump was replaced in less time than LexTech quoted, and the repair was completed fully under warranty with no additional cost.
I initially chalked the water pump issue up to a misunderstanding; however, it has become evident that customer interests are not being prioritized here, and recommendations appear to be driven by the dealership’s bottom line rather than what is best for the customer.
Thankfully, I recognized these issues before running into any major problems; however, I would caution others against taking recommendations here at face value and encourage reviewing your manufacturer warranty yourself and getting a second opinion when needed.
Update: The recommendation provided was NOT very clear hence the review. My vehicle does recommend maintenance every 5k miles; however, it does not require an oil change at every interval. Because of this, the leak would have been identified regardless. Since the oil change was performed in March, the associate could have mentioned that it was not yet due in September similar to how the associate at Lexus handled it by explaining the situation and giving me a choice.
Regarding the water pump, the pricing difference ultimately came down to labor time, as I previously mentioned. Regardless of whether a non OE part was used, the repair was completed in less time than what your estimate indicated which raises the question as to why the repair time was inflated on your end.Jan 21, 2026 -
Took my lexus here for an oil change. Love the first experience. Very straight forward, no sleazy / scam feelings of added extra service to my car. Did the oil change, straight forward diagnostic. i had my car check couple of days before, so i was already aware of recommendations it would need. The person who helped me, said the exact same thing without throwing in other services that I know I don't need, so I can tell he was honest. Probably never going back to a lexus dealership for services again, now that I know about this place.

I did have some major repair work that needed to be done: tire controls, engine mounts, and axle. They provided pics of everything that needed to be done. The work was completed in a timely fashion. I was kept updated on progress and any delays. Very happy with the service provided and definitely less expensive then the Lexus dealership. Would highly recommend LexTech.

I thought the people at Lextechs were not only punctual but friendly as well. I would highly recommend taking your Lexus there to be serviced no matter what the problem is.

I brought my Lexus to LexTechs for service two weeks ago and was quite impressed! Ed made everything easy for a new customer and took the time to show me digital images of the car so I could see exactly what was being done. Everyone was professional and I felt that my car was in great hands. I will definitely be bringing my car back for routine maintenance from this point on. Thanks LexTechs!

Troubleshot issue with my Toyota Tacoma SRS airbag system. Was able to fit in on same day AND diagnostic fee was reasonable. Found issue and resolved all in one trip. Communication and explanations were spot on. Also reviewed the entire truck for other maintenance opportunities. Highly recommend!

I brought my Toyota Highlander in with a brake issue and these guys not only took the time to tell me what I needed but what could be put off. They also looked over my entire vehicle to see if there were any issues that could sneak up on me.
Everyone was super professional and understanding and had my vehicle repaired sooner than expected. They used genuine Toyota parts and left me feeling confident that they did top notch work.

After procrastinging to respond to my required maintenence light, I had a pocket of time one afternoon to get it done, yet hadn't scheduled an appointment days in advance. I was able to book a same day appointment with LexTechs. I prepared to wait at least 2 hours, but it only took just over 1 hour. When done, everything inspected was explained to me with photos. I was very pleased with the service.

After less than satisfactory experiences with the dealership for basic upkeep of my RX350, I found LexTechs and I’ve never looked back. I really appreciate how they treat me from the moment I walk in the door - very friendly and respectful. I also appreciate that they take pictures of everything they find during the appointment so you can have eyes-on to see for yourself what they’ve found during an appointment. That has really helped me figure out what I need to do over time to keep up with maintenance on my car. It also helps me plan out work on my schedule and makes it easier on my wallet. The LexTechs guys are the best!

Always a great experience. Why you ask? I ended up at LexTechs because of a terrible experience I had at a Lexus dealer after only being there for 10 minutes. From my first phone call with Joe (with LexTechs) to now having several services performed successfully. I can say they offer an exceptional experience. Everyone is courteous, even the technicians. You can tell they want to get you in and out as quickly as possible while still doing a great job. The place is always clean. But most important to me is honest communication. When I ask questions I expect for people to do their best to give honest answers, not answers that will make them the most money. Example: I asked them to change a transmission filter for me and they refused to do so because they didn’t feel it needed to be done. Most places I have been to would have agreed to do it just to make more money. I have great respect for LexTechs and I hope they maintain this level of service and integrity in the future.

I had my 2014 ES300H serviced about two weeks ago. These guys are total professionals. I live nowhere near Johns Creek but I plan to make the drive again. It was worth it. It's 800 miles between Atlanta where I live and Dallas, TX where I'm from. I need to know that my car will get me there.

I took a Lexus GX in for a pre-purchase inspection to make sure I knew exactly what I was getting into before buying a used vehicle. Joe was really helpful, communicative, knowledgeable, and professional. They caught things that the dealership's mechanics missed as well allowing me to avoid a large repair right off the bat. Would not hesitate using them in the future for maintenance/repairs or PPIs.

I discovered LexTechs when no other shop could fix my suspension issue. These guys went above and beyond to rectify the problem! Have always had great service by LexTechs of Johns Creek. Several years ago I had a brake issue misdiagnosed by the local dealer; they said I needed front brakes to eliminate a vibration that, with a second opinion, LexTechs diagnosed as a rear brake issue. Had I gone with the dealer diagnosis the cost would have been greater and the issue unresolved. They won me over that day. We use them for both our Toyota and Lexus that are still under manufacturers warranty. If they discover a warranty issue they will send you to the dealer for the repair.

Love this place and these people. Fair pricing, excellent work. I’ve never had an issue. They always work with my budget. Everyone on staff is kind and helpful. Joe is my favorite, but he’s been taking care of me and my truck for 3 years now. Once I started coming here, I didn’t stop. The hour drive has always been worth it. Decatur location is also just fine, I just prefer the John’s Creek location. Once you bring your car or truck here, everyone else will seem inferior. Thanks everyone who has taken care of me and my partner (customer for over 5 years) while we lived in Atlanta! We made sure we had our trucks taken care of before we moved to Pittsburgh and we will be back for any issues.

Outstanding Experience at LexTechs of Johns Creek.
My experience at LexTechs of Johns Creek was nothing short of exceptional. I brought in my Lexus with a rather unusual issue—after accidentally driving through a road covered in wet tar, my tires were ruined, and the tar had lodged itself throughout the wheel housing and struts. Even after replacing the tires elsewhere, I continued to hear an unsettling rumble beneath the car, which I suspected was due to remaining tar.
From my very first call, Ed was incredibly helpful. He encouraged me to bring the car in, assuring me they’d take a thorough look. When I arrived, Ed and the other service advisors welcomed me warmly, as if I were part of the family. They explained their process in detail, including their plan to inspect and test drive the car.
What really impressed me was their transparency—they sent me clear, professional photos of the extensive tar buildup they found. Their knowledge and professionalism were evident throughout the entire visit.
The cost to get everything cleaned up and back to normal was surprisingly affordable. The facility itself was spotless, and the waiting area was clean and comfortable.
I’m beyond grateful to have found LexTechs. I had been hesitant to return to the dealership, worried about being overcharged. At LexTechs, I felt completely at ease. They truly treated me like family.

I love LexTechs of Atlanta. I own two Lexus vehicles and have always taken them to a Lexus dealership for scheduled maintenance. But I learned of LexTechs while looking for other service options and thought I'd give them a try. Wow, what a difference! Not only do they do the normal maintenance like changing the oil, but with every service, they check and test fluids, tread depth, brake pads, etc. At the Lexus Dealership, they will normally suggest additional services, like brake fluid flush or changing transmission fluid, or cleaning your fuel system based solely on your car's mileage. But at LexTechs, they actually test your brake fluid and inspect and image your throttle body for carbon buildup and image your cabin filter and tread depth on all tires. Then your service advisor sits down with you and goes over each image and only recommends these additional services when they are actually needed, not simply based on mileage. Great attention to detail, they only sell you the services your car actually needs, and the at a lower cost than dealership service.

These guys know their stuff. I had a full blown alignment done on my 2000 tundra SRD 4X4. No one else could do it because I modified the suspension. Ed made sure it was perfect for me. My frame off restoration can now move forward to its completion. They will be the (only) ones I use from now on for anything I need done I can't do myself. Triple A's guy's!
