Big thanks to Pep Boys Johns Creek. My skid plate came loose while driving because the last oil change spot didn’t reinstall it properly. They squeezed me in right away and Kevon was awesome. Super chill, very knowledgeable, and he even used bolts from his own car since mine were missing. Got everything tightened up fast and I was in and out in like 20 minutes. Maggie at the front desk was also really nice and helpful. Definitely glad I came here.
Took my vehicle to Pep Boys for the first time. Check engine, light on, vehicle, shaking, poor acceleration. Pep Boys charged me $2400 for a bunch of work they did which didn’t fix the vehicle and actually made the vehicle worse. The vehicle didn’t even make it out of the parking lot before the check engine light came back on vehicle started shaking so I immediately took it back. They stated they were unsure and advised they were going to contact their Chrysler representative. Paid $2400 and got nothing out of it. Long story short I actually need an engine replacement and one new catalytic converter. Very disappointing their job knowledge.
I brought my vehicle to this shop for an unrelated repair. Before the service, the A/C system was working.
After the repair, the A/C stopped cooling. When I returned, the shop pointed out abrasion damage on the A/C high-pressure refrigerant line and explained that this was the source of the leak.
The abrasion appeared very recent, with clean, shiny metal visible rather than long-term corrosion. We have only serviced this vehicle at this shop for the past two years.
Pep boys said the damage was not on them because in both 2024 and 2025, we brought the vehicle here for A/C service due to reduced cooling. The services performed were refrigerant recharge (over $200 each time), and no leak inspection or diagnosis was mentioned or recommended ever until this time.
This type of line should not normally be rubbing against other components. I was told the line needed to be replaced at my expense (over $600). The shop stated they had not worked in that area and declined responsibility.
I’m sharing my experience so others can be aware. I was disappointed with how the situation was handled after the issue appeared immediately following the repair. The easy conclusion is this shop cannot be trusted.
I called Maggie to check if they would be able to check my tires, and when I arrived there 20 min later, they refused to start the service. Got the same service across the street for ⅓ of the price and awesome service!
Very rarely do you feel so at ease leaving a car somewhere and know you’re getting honest, quality service. Maggie was exceptional is explaining our issue, the pricing, and time to repair. This was our first experience at this shop but now we will always take our four cars here. Car runs beautifully now! Thank you Maggie and Pepboys!

My car broke down all of sudden two days ago and I towed it to Pep Boys Johns Creek.They charged me $99, while my dealership asked for over $200 for the same diagonis. It took them less than two hours to find out my starter needs to be replaced. I was able to get it fixed within another two hours or so. I was thoroughly explained on what my options are and I felt very comfortable with their honest and professional recommendations. Up until now, I always had my car's repairs and maintenance services done at the same dealership for the past six years. But I am switching to this shop from now on. The service staff were very courteous and the technicians were very knowledgeable as well.
This location is truly fantastic! The staff is so helpful, kind and knowledgeable. The service to my car was great and they have some great specials too - which was truly a life saver.

I had a great experience at Pep Boys (10965 Jones Bridge Rd, Johns Creek, GA 30022) today. My car had a leaking power steering pressure hose. Thanks to Tom, he worked me into his schedule, and his technician Keith replaced the pressure hose quickly. The steering feels much better now. I highly recommend Tom and his technician Keith.
Excellent shop, very punctual. I went in for an oil change without an appointment and they were able to fit me in the same day according to my schedule. The place is full of history and you can tell they really know what they’re doing. Highly recommended!
Just got a new set of tires. Maggie took such great care of me. She was so sweet and very professional. Both Maggie and the tech Mirue stayed late to make sure myself and a few other customers were taken care of. I definitely recommend this shop

When Car broke down and had car towed to Pep Boys and Meggie gave great, friendly customer service. She Went above and beyond making sure I was satisfied with auto service and pricing.
Keith repaired my car, test drove it with me explaining what he fixed, and the repairs I need to get in the near future. He was very skilled and knowledgeable and after telling me he had over 20 years auto mechanic experience, it showed. Most definitely recommend and will be back.
I found a HUGE screw in my tire while leaving work and called and spoke to Maggie. She asked where I was and said come right in. It was about an hour before they closed for the day. I made it and they got my car right back and the tire patched. The team was great. Thank you so much for helping in a pinch and on the spot like that. I will definitely be back.
I was a walk-in for an oil change and these guys promptly put me on the schedule. Very nice, accomodating and courteous staff! Had bought windshield wipers and they offered to replace them for me for free. Definitely will be back. Great attitudes!!
Very good experience. Manager was helpful and informative. Her team was helpful and honest on their findings that I did not need to replace my brake pads at this time and showed me why. Scheduled an Oil change the next week with them and they were very helpful.
If you want qualified trustworthy technicians to work on your car then this is the place to go. Keith is good at fixing cars. The customer service here is also good. Also, if you are buying used cars, get it inspected from them before you buy.
Ray helped me with my vehicle after I went to the Toyota dealers for my brake pads and brake fluids. Toyota told me I needed to have this done and would charge me over $600. But I took it to Pep Boys as they always did me right, and come to find out that my Brake pads were fine and I did not need to change my brake fluids. Ray and the team are very honest and even took the time to show me. I recommend this place to anyone who wants quality and honesty.
This was my first time visiting a Pep Boys, and I am glad that I chose this location. I had nothing but a positive experience. Margie was also very sweet and informative about my car. I would definitely recommend going to this location!! Also, Margie was kind enough to add coupons to lower the cost of my total! A+++!
5 stars for this Pep Boys location! it was my first time brining my car here for some stalling issues and they immediately made me feel like a valued client. Ms. M at the front desk was patient, polite, informative, and very funny. Keith and the other gentleman were knowledgeable, they took great care of my car and went above and beyond to make sure I wasn’t without it for too long and that it was safe to drive. No more check engine light, no more oil leaks! Will be coming back to this location for my car needs.
Beat my Costco price for 4 New Tires Teplaced my shocks and did an oil change and a diagnostic that detailed everything going on with my car. Sent the time with me so to understand what it all means. So I was able to make the best intelligent decision. He was very professional and was patient with my ignorance. I have just made Pep boys my go to place. Or at least this one. Jhe'rell and crew were very busy that day as all I needed was to resurface 2 rotors that I brought in. They worked me in and were very hard working that day and by end of business they completed the task and the rotors turned out great. Be patient and courteous and the guys will work you in if they can. Thanks Pep Boys.
My vehicle takes synthetic oil and if you’re aware, synthetic oil changes are not the cheapest. Pep boys was running a special (I believe I paid a little over $60 because my car took an extra quart) so I decided to try it out a few weeks back. Like any mechanic shop, it wasn’t the cleanest as you can see. They did have a tv in the waiting area which was nice because it did take awhile. Connor was helpful when it came to questions I had when I called the shop and when I was leaving. Very professional. However, the shop seemed as if they were short handed on help and the employees that were there did not seem as if they knew what they were doing.
