Truck was just fueled full prior to being impounded. Location of impound or pick up was only half a mile from their location building site. Only half a tank of fuel was left in my tank. The items I had In truck were stolen. My AC was set on Full blast mine you "I never turn on AC. " Radio stations were changed ? I Was charged $350.00 dollars to get truck removed from impound truck was only there 2 days. They stated that's what College Park police charged? After I called and was told something completely different? This was Moody towing. 3 blocks down from College Park police station. Oh yes they leave the keys to the vehicles in the vehicles on the dash? College Park Georgia. I was robbed and flushed Royally .

Our recent with Moody’s Wrecker Towing Service was disappointing. After my clients car was towed, he found it had been damaged and broken into, with his music equipment stolen. was given multiple conflicting stories about what happened or could have happened. The amount was also disputed on how much the equipment was worth. While the owner wasn’t unpleasant, my clients concerns weren’t properly addressed. Instead, was just told to contact the police. Overall, a frustrating and unprofessional situation.

Tonight, while flying home from Orlando, I needed a tow for a 100-mile trip home. I had originally booked another company but was unsure if the driver would arrive on time. Although my original driver did show up, Moody's Wrecker Service was incredibly kind and understanding of my situation. I truly appreciate their professionalism, and I would highly recommend their service.

I can’t thank this towing company enough for the kindness and understanding they showed me during a really tough time. My car was towed while I was in jail, and when I went to pick it up, I was $25 short. They didn’t have to help me, but they did—and they took that $25 off the total, no questions asked. In a world where most places are strictly business, it meant so much to be treated with compassion and respect. They were professional, fair, and most importantly, human. I’ll never forget how they helped me out, and I highly recommend them to anyone needing a tow or dealing with a tough situation. Thank you again for your generosity!

My vehicle was towed by Moody's Wrecker Service on Friday, January 10th, at the request of the College Park Police Department. Upon arriving at Moody's to retrieve my vehicle on Tuesday, January 14th, I was met with a series of infuriating and unacceptable events. First, I was forced to endure a freezing cold wait outside for over 30 minutes, as Moody's inexplicably prohibits customers from waiting inside. Then, the AAA tow truck driver, called to assist me, discovered my vehicle was dead. Apparently, while in Moody's custody, my car, which was running when towed, had suffered a dead battery. This suggests a complete lack of care and potentially negligent handling of my vehicle during their possession. To make matters worse, the customer service at Moody's was beyond appalling. Staff were dismissive and unhelpful, refusing to acknowledge any responsibility for the dead battery. When I requested to speak with the owner, I was met with the astonishing response that they do not speak to customers. I was then forced to pay the towing fee using Apple Pay on my rapidly dying phone, as they offered no alternative payment options. My phone subsequently died, leaving me stranded with no way to contact an Uber. The representative, seemingly more concerned with expediting the process, urged the AAA driver to quickly load my vehicle, citing the presence of another tow truck driver who allegedly worked for the local police. To add insult to injury, on Friday, January 17th, my dealership called to inform me that the battery was completely dead and needed to be replaced at a cost of $550. This confirms my suspicion that the battery issue originated while my vehicle was in the custody of Moody's Wrecker Service. This entire experience was a nightmare. Moody's Wrecker Service demonstrated a complete disregard for customer service, a lack of accountability for their actions, and an overall indifference to the inconvenience and financial burden they caused me. I strongly advise anyone to avoid this company at all costs. I will be pursuing legal action through small claims court to address this issue and ensure they are held accountable for their negligence. EDIT - RESPONSE TO MOODY Lets be factual and not just spew out things as a reaction! Had you looked at my paperwork it should have noted my car was towed because I didn't know my insurance had lapsed and the officer gave me a short window to get insurance/get a tow. I obtained the insurance and the tow coverage within 45 minutes -- $600 -- but by the time I finished Moody had arrived. I was there for the entire process - never left - never abandoned my truck. Moreover, my vehicle had a FUEL LEAK which does not equate to a dead battery according to Dodge who currently has the vehicle. Payment was not the issue but ubering around and getting to my final destination with no way to stay warm or charge my phone but need to pay using my phone is a little unsettling, no? None of my personal is your fault. That said, you said a lot but all you proved was that Moody placed a rude, unprincipled, unconscionable representative at its front line... proving my point. Lets go back to your version though -- I left my 2021 Dodge Durango on the side of the road with keys in it and the police towed it so Moody came to save the day. It was leaking fuel and running but in the process of this, Moody made sure said vehicle was off in its entirety but when another tow truck picks up said vehicle battery is now completely fried because of the customer. Ok - got it. Thank you for your time and understanding. Have an amazing 2025 and please try to do better business in the process.

Terrible customer service . Police had to be called just to dissolve a situation that could have been avoided with proper communication skills and professionalism. Would not recommend this company’s services to anyone.

Terrible reception staff. Very combative and unwilling to help customers- very rude. We had a very complicated time trying to deal with the receptionist in the front behind the glass in the front. She told us one price and once we were able to get the money together, she changed the price. Needless to say, we called the police, and it was resolved.

Thank you so much for responding to my earlier review. I’m sure you can recall the review but just in case you can’t I included a screenshot of it under this review. If you would like to receive proof of what I said earlier regarding the “lies” send me an email and I’d be more than happy to include the necessary documents. Ordinarily, I would not respond to these allegations but seeing as your “Customer service” representative earlier was so rude to my family I have time today. Also my car being left on the side of the road as less than nothing to do with the lies your service told my family. Again feel free to email any request for the necessary details. Btw please tell your receptionist with red nails and braids to NEVER call my family stupid again.

This is an unfortunate post, because I've been on a streak of being about to post good reviews. The only positive I experienced was the level of security to obtain my car. However, the fact that this place does not offer an alternative to pick up a stolen vehicle and I was out of the country for over a week, I think no longer aligns with protecting the customers best interests. Some may say, why would you want to do, because if I can authorize my car to be picked up by my father or the method I used, the insurance company so assessments and repairs can begin, then why not, allow the insurance company to verify and do so. Companies must move with the times. Even worse experience, I read in the reviews, about a lady with a nasty and imprudent attitude. How is your job forward facing via in-person and over the phone and you are what appears to be, consistently upset with customers who enter a distressing situation or circumstance. Yeah, it's not lady rudeness fault a car ended up there, but it never killed anyone to show empathy and compassion in a situation. She must be related to the owner, there's no way someone else would allow lady rudeness to bring their business down in such a way. What I would say to her and the owner, related or not, you're only going to behave traumatized towards others so long, no one has to hurt you, God can, you can have a heart attack, trucks confiscated, lady rudeness or the owner could get sick, a paperwork mishap could land you at a loss or in jail, lose a kid and never be the same. I want people to stop mistreating others and trying to get over on others, just because they have a business or contract. No one is invincible from God, karma, university or whatever you believe in. Be kind to people lady rudeness, bc that could be the doctor, nurse, surgeon, lawyer, judge, or the sibling of said people, and what if they treated you and your family the way you treat people daily. Owner, get her a Bible and some therapy, bc there is no way 1 person should suffer in that type of anger and project it daily. I don't wish this business the best. I wish the people who have to experience lady rudeness, a better experience. She was even rude to my adjuster, and didn't even know I was on the phone.

My mom Audi broke down august 7th at 3pm on her way to work so she caught a ride to work. After work she went to check on the car and notice they stole the battery to keep the car from moving! So she ended up having to catch a ride all the way home.she came back to get her car the next day and noticed her car was gone she called the police to report it stolen! come to find out moody stole her car the next day and claimed it was there for over 24 hours!! Who help with suing companies like this or know a lawyer who can help sue them? inbox me asap!

My mom had her car towed to this business today and the woman she had to deal with was the rudest and most disrespectful she’s ever had to encounter. When my mom asked for a detailed explanation of the charges, the lady at the window proceeded to yell at her and say, “People like you don’t belong here and you should go back to your country.” My mom’s battery was dead and when she asked for help to jump start it, the lady at the window told her it would be $90. My mom was not willing to pay that amount and walked out. Luckily one of the tow truck drivers in the parking lot checked on my mom and proceeded to help her out, when she asked about the $90 fee, the driver told her the lady in the window was “just bluffing.” I’m disgusted by this business and their lack of human decency.

Unfortunately our car was towed for parking in a wrong spot. Didn't find out until 6am and immediately called Moody's Wrecker Service. The lady that answered the phone was so very nice and told us to make sure to bring our ID, provided the address and told us it would cost $230. We went there provided the info and got the car. Had a nice conversation with the guy in the Wrecker yard also. Several hours after leaving I discovered I couldn't find my debit card. I knew she gave it back. I called and she said she would look outside. Sure enough it was lying on the ground outside. My second trip there was just as pleasant. These are the nicest people ever.

I believe documentation beats conversation! My vehicle was towed on 3/29/24 around 4pm. My vehicle was picked up on 3/31/24 at 6:30. My vehicle was just released from the body shop (was rear ended previously) to me on 3/27/24 with a new bumper, new paint, new trunk, and before/after pictures. Noticed damage under rear bumper on 3/31/24 on the impound lot. Noticed odd charges on invoice that same day. Was told to talk to Mr. Kevin Green. This morning I spoke to the ladies in the office who very respectful and we agreed that some on the charges were incorrect. She then proceeded to address Mr. Green then he eventually addressed me. I asked him were chains used to pull my vehicle and he said cables were used, no problem. I asked was my vehicle pulled from the rear he said yes. I offered for him to take pictures he declined. He wanted me to get 3 estimates and bring them to him no problem. He refuses to refund me what’s owed to me unless I get 3 estimates and let him get a copy of my ID. He stated a copy of my ID is needed so I won’t come back in 30 day to dispute the charges from a credit card that may or may not have been used (iykyk)(wink wink)! My ID was provided in order to retrieve my vehicle. I would never bash his business privately or publicly, but his business practices are definitely sketchy. I would like to address Mr. Kevin directly since on here I can actually get a word in and not have a man yelling and being belligerent to me. The condescending manner in which our brief interaction I got to see for myself was not needed. Leadership starts from the top down. The lady in the office was fair and understanding contrary to some of the previous negative reviews. Mr. Green everyone that addresses you with (legitimate) concerns is not trying to scam or squeeze money out of you. I know you would try to respond to this review with the blame game, the denial of wrongdoing, etc but this is not a blame or accountability post. I went to your establishment with zero expectations and left with zero expectations. I teach consumer law, credit repair, and civil litigation. Now watch me work!

If I could give zero stars I would, very unprofessional, rude, and using explicit language towards( me) the customer. Who ever this lady is that answers the phone need to be terminated, because if she stay there this business will be dragged to the ground. I honestly can't believe the how she just spoke to me over the phone. I will be taking things further, this was uncalled for. BBB will definitely get this review. Wow!!!

Fast, Friendly service with a smile! Tabatha was able to book towing service quickly, efficiently, and we were fortunate to have someone out with only the drive time to get to us and no further wait time to remove an abandoned vehicle left on private property. The tow driver, Kalel arrived promptly and did a very professional job in picking up the vehicle taking the utmost care in handling it as it was loaded on the truck. No one ever wants to be in a place of needing a tow but if I ever do, I’d totally use Moody!

Brad was awesome! I waited 3 hours for AAA, but then called Moody’s and they were there in 10 minutes..Moody’s will be my first call next time! Brad took care of my car, and made sure I was safe. I believe he would have even given me a ride if I needed it. He will be working on the holiday and will be someone’s angel! Thank you, Brad!

I was in a car accident on the 29th of October. My car was totaled and it was towed to Moody’s. I went in a few days later to retrieve my items and all of my money and personal effects were missing from my car. I filed a police report and few days later I called to speak with Mr Greene the Manager and a woman answered and stated that she was the manager. She has a bad attitude and asked what did I want her to do about it. I have not spoken to Mr Greene. Please do not take your car here. Of course you would blame me instead of taking a look at yourself and the people you hire. Your reviews alone speak volumes about your company. Everyone can’t be wrong in these reviews.

This place definitely doesn’t need any stars not even a half of a star if it’s my choice. All I wanted was my car literally. The big sloppy chicks in the front both were rude and nasty they attitude was uncalled for. They MOODY just like they name is, it doesn’t make no sense. They slammed the door in my face and wouldn’t take my money then called the cops and lied. This is a very unprofessional business 10x. This is a black owned business and make black people look bad!

I see why this business has a terrible rating, The most unprofessional and rude people you will ever encounter. Notice how all the reviews are saying the same things. The lady who told me she was the manager had a bad attitude over the phone and in person, not pleasant at all. The owner is just as unprofessional and rude. Staff is untrained, even though it was an accident by a young kid they have working there, he hit my company work truck while still in their lot. Didn't do much damage only scratched it but he clearly hit the car. The owner came out saw the picture of him hitting it and was unprofessional about it. Attitudes are terrible! First review I have ever done in my life, they are black owned business and I’m a black business owner myself running box trucks here in Atlanta so I hate to say anything negative towards any business but they are terrible. I never complained once about the fees or anything, I just wanted to pickup the company vehicle without the attitudes. I wouldn’t recommend using this company. Customer service is not there at all.

Just called to get my information on my sons vehicle that was stolen and the lady that answered the phone the second time was really nasty and rude cussing at the other coworker about fees that she not dropping which is fine and had a whole nasty attitude about it. Im just trying to see what's the cost to get the car lady. Get a new job if you don't like the one you have im sure someone could do better. I wasn't nasty to you and the coworker either so why ne nasty .

I wouldn’t even give this place a one star rating if I had a choice. The lady working the desk is rude as hell. She gave me no opportunity to speak before hanging up on me. I called back again, trying to speak to her and talk to her about the situation. She hung up on me again. She said nothing mattered. I didn’t matter nothing I said mattered. When my husband went to pick up the car, she cussed him out. She is the definition of poor customer service to the absolute extreme. Do not use this towing company. We will be spreading the words all of our military, friends and families that this wrecker service has absolutely zero customer service.

The staff is friendly, but the fees are very high. Don’t mess around and wait a day or two when you find your car- go and get your car. The staff is knowledgeable and aware of all of the vehicles and their condition in their yard, a rare thing for wrecker services with large yards.

$477.00 for 4 day impound when receipt clearly stated $150 for the first day and $25 every day after. Just pray they don't impound your car they going to handle it the way they wanna even if that means ripping you off. Lady at the desk was extremely rude when talking to her respectfully. Then I just noticed Moody's came back to comment please don't lie there's no way a 4 day impound should be $400 and the receipt doesn't show all the supposed fees I will post it so everyone can see also better yet I'll bring it to you

Horrible Place. While towing my car, they hit my bumper and hood. After getting my car out for the ridiculous price of 335$ I noticed the bump and instantly called. I was met with a highly reluctant manager lady who didn’t want to shelve out the money in order to fix it. They are definitely shady over here. They also don’t do good business. If you are in the Camp Creek/College Park area and unfortunately get towed by these ppl I feel very bad for you. 10/10 do not recommend. Tow Truck Companies are already hated but these ppl make sure you hate them 10x worse. Whatever scheme/tactic they try to hit u with reject and and if you have to call authorities

Rebecca was one of the best operators I've seen! She was on-scene in 20 minutes and was even showing care to my 2006 BMW 325i, regardless of the shape she was already in. Great service all around! My car was left and they towed it by request. I called them after 2 weeks trying to figure out where my car was. My bill was $710 I already been through it and the lady on the phone was very rude & not sympathetic at all. Never would recommend this place to anybody! Very disrespectful and non negotiable with anything. No comforting and no good customer service at all. *Edit* the response as a business is exactly why I do not recommend this business at all I’m a customer and I am supposed to be satisfied with understanding personnel which this response clearly shows how unprofessional and wreckless this business is. I hope new management will take over one day or someone will eventually put them out of business for their very rude nature ! & no I was actually in the hospital and my vehicle was on the exit of an highway & I get it it might just be Atlanta since nobody could tell me who towed my vehicle in the first place

Our car was outside of the airport in a zone where you couldn’t leave the car for a long time unattended. I understand it could have been towed or was supposed to be towed, but when I was heading outside I noticed the car on the tow truck. I was able to stop the gentlemen and kindly ask what I needed to do to avoid him taking it. He said I had to pay $125 no exceptions. After a couple times of going back and fourth I paid the amount, he said he only accepted cash. I asked for an invoice and he sent me one via text but the price paid said $25. I tried asking him why that was and he stated it was already in the system and the company was expecting the $125. At this point I was done arguing, paid and got the car retrieved. Now 4 hours later. I try to view the invoice again and the page to the invoice cannot be found. I called and a rude female answered and she resent the invoice with the correct amount, I asked how long would the invoice be accessible for and she rudely responded “I don’t know I never had my car towed before” Unacceptable service on both ends!

My car was taken here after a wreck. I was rushed to the hospital from the scene so unfortunately I could not have anyone to pickup my things until the very next day. When they arrived, my brand new $260 Sony headphones that were still in the box were REMOVED from the box and they left it empty. I proceeded to complain to a gentleman that answers the phone and of course, no remorse and I'm sure they know who did it. It is SAD that you can not have your things taken care of for 24 hrs without having to worry about HORRIBLE employees that clearly care nothing about people! I HATE IT HERE!!!!!! Please do not allow anyone to take your car here! Added photos of my car just so you can see... they PREY!!!!! They didn't have to take from me! I already have a lot to deal with! ** Update: Aftet going back and forth with the general manager, Kevin Greene (very RUDE individual). Turns out, they turned away my insurance company's tow ppl stating my car was already picked up. I'm calling trying to find out how and who picked it up. Although the information was provided through multiple calls.... IT WASN'T EVEN MY CAR!!! His response to this is "Give me an hour to look for your vehicle... it's not going to make a difference to the insurance company bc they're not going to send someone right back out.." Just completely rude and not empathetic at all to the fact that THEYYYY made the mistake!!!
