Dwayne rescued my daughter from the should of I85 (over an hour sooner than the company our roadside assistance was going to send) and brought her and her car 45 miles home. My daughter said he was very nice and I can't put a value on the relief of knowing she was safe.
We had one of our box trucks go down with a DEF code while driving through the Atlanta area. Luckily, we looked up Dixon's and they took excellent care of us. They got our truck back on the road quickly and charged a fair amount. I really appreciate you guys looking after us and doing a great job! If you need a mobile mechanic, call them!
Dixon Mobile Mechanic came through big time for me! Showed up right on time and got straight to work on my 3500 Dodge Ram 6.7 Cummins. Extremely knowledgeable—especially with diesel engines—and had everything needed to get me back on the road fast.

My AC went out on a hot day, thankfully I came across Dixon’s Mobile Mechanic and contacted them. I was able to get an appointment for him to diagnose the problem and found that my compressor had stopped working. I didn't have to wait long to get the parts replaced and AC working perfectly. Knowledgeable, professional and Excellent service was provided. I would recommend anyone to bring their vehicle there.
I’m very pleased with the service I received. It was last minute but right on time. He went over and beyond to make sure my car was fixed the right way compared to other mechanics. That just do a Rush job.

The mechanic is very thorough and performed a great inspection. However, communication is horrible. We were told at 9:38 a.m. that the mechanic would be there in an hour. However, the mechanic did not arrive until 11:38am and explained that it was due to stomach problems, which is understandable. Life occurs, but no one informed us that the mechanic would be running late. When we contacted them after an hour to find out where the mechanic was, we were told they would be there in 25 minutes. 45 minutes after being told the mechanic would be there in 25 minutes we called again twice. The call rang and went to voicemail, twice. However, the mechanic did arrived within 2 minutes after the call.
The only reason we went with this company was because they were recommended and they had a better eta, than other companies we contacted, who were less expensive. We also assumed that the price, would provide a better quality service. Anyway, I am some who HATES poor communication, so I personally would not recommend them or use their services again. Life happens to us all and we all run late at times. Simply communicating this and keeping us informed would have been appropriate, especially when you require a deposit.

Ambulance service based out of Memphis, Tn. Had a crew headed back from a transport to SC. On way back our ambulance had a mechanical issue. After being stood up by numerous other companies came across Dixons and they showed up, and showed out! Got my crew fixed up and back on the road to get home! Got this guy on speed dial now! Thanks again to them!
It saddens me to have to write this review, but it must be said. I've used Dixon Mobile repair a few times, and even helped him obtain business from others customers. But this last job, I'm done with using his services. He quoted me a time frame of 3:30 pm, but didn't arrive until 7:16pm. Once he arrived, he looked under the hood for the leak, and he believed the leak was coming from the coolant reservoir. We went to Autozone and I purchased the part. Prior to going to get the part, he checked the the thermostat housing, and broke a piece off, and tried to force it back on. It didn't work. So after replacing the reservoir, there is still a leak coming from the area he broke. Now we're dealing with a broken thermostat housing. Dixon assured me he would come back the next day and finish the job. After waiting for hours he said he would come around 7 pm. I finally told him to come the following day. He said he would be there first thing. Once he completed the job 3 days later, I received a invoice for $462.00 I asked him, why the charges are so high, you replaced the reservoir and the part you broke, and your double charging me for labor for something you broke. He paid for the part he broke but charges me the labor for replacing it. Will not be doing anymore business with him, and yes I waited 3 days to pay the over priced invoice.
I was happy to find this service, I drove from Toronto,Canada to Atlanta Georgia, my car broke down on the I75 and I google a couple mobile mechanic and Dixon Mobile was the only person that answers my call..in no time they were there in 30 mins.They were very professional and the price is reasonable..I don’t know what I would have done if it wasn’t for Dixon Mobile. I had a highly disappointing experience with this service. He arrived a frustrating 3 hours late and didn't deliver. Instead of performing the reset I requested, he seemed to press random buttons and examined unrelated car components. Even though he initially claimed he could handle the reset over the phone, he later stated he couldn't and still demanded payment. This experience was a complete letdown and a waste of time. I refused to pay as he did not do a diagnosis or anything for that matter. He refused to let me leave and even walked back to his car and told me to “try and leave” while holding something. I Called the cops and waited for them and they helped with this scary situation thankfully! Don’t get serviced here unless you want to get scammed.
RESPONSE: MAYBE IF YOU DID A SERVICE YOU COULD GET PAID FOR IT. But anyways good luck!
What an incredible experience from start to finish. Very effective communication methods. No gimmicks. Honest and transparent about timing and prices. From the moment we contacted them until the job was finished it took about 4 hours. I would recommend these guys without a doubt. What more can you ask for? Fast response times, fast turnover time, and in 4 hours our rig was back on the road. Thank you guys!
I don’t recommend. I asked him to simple replace my rear brakes, and while doing so he damaged my brake caliber and piston. Before he attempted to replace the brakes there wasn’t any seepage coming from the brake piston. Afterward he let me know he saw oil coming from the piston and he didn’t know how it happen. I told him it wasn’t leaking before he started and he said he would replace it if I bought the parts. Haven’t heard from him since after repeated calls smh.
Could not for the life of me get my oil filter off. I requested a quote around 8pm and they came out around 10am the next morning. The technician was very kind and even finished my oil change after getting the filter off. Highly recommend!
When no one else wanted to take the time out to fixed my work horse(Ford) Dixon came through and fixed what another Mech messed up and fixed the issue.. he saved not only my job and my business but reasonable pricing as well.. will recommend and use from this day forward. This was my first time using a mobile mechanic and there were a few moments during this repair that I was very nervous. I have a VW so everything under the hood is justtttt a tad more complicated and Dixon did not have familiarity. I had a bad alternator which is not easy to get out for these cars but he took on the challenge. I learned a lot about various alternator amperage that day by being a quasi mechanics assistant so if you’re into hands on participation- this service is for you. In the removal process he found a bad stripped belt likely installed wrong by the last mechanic and replaced that for me too. All in all it took about 6 or so hours which is pretty timely not to mention it was during 1-7pm on a 96 degree day in an asphalt parking lot. Clear price quotes and no up charging. I put 250 miles on my car since the alternator and belt replacement and have no complaints.
For a diesel mechanic who couldn’t tell the difference between engine is very disappointing. I specifically asked to confirm if an international truck was a dt466 engine which he said yes, only for me to fly out there to realize it was a maxforce engine with serious engine leak on it. I highly doubt he even did a proper check cos there is a tag on the engine with maxforce boldly written on it. Botton line is this company doesn’t know what they doing!!!
I’ve gotten my fuel pump changed and In the end result I was very pleased. He was very professional and knowledgeable also taught me a few things about cars as well along the process. In the end saw my check engine light was still on which I was going to check out myself but he volunteered to check it out for me anyways and saw it was because I needed a new battery. I highly recommend Dixon Mobile for those looking for a great mechanic who actually put in the work to do it right instead of trying to do a quick fix patch up job that’s only temporary and will cause more damage in the long run.
My experience with this mechanic was awesome! I called him for a pre-inspection for the purchase of a BMW X3. Not only did he come in less than an hour, his inspection was very through & affordable! He made me feel confident to proceed with the sale. I definitely will be using his services again!

I was in ATL visiting my sister and rear ended an SUV. My radiator was messed up and I just wanted to see if something could be rigged up so I could back to NC to get the body work done. Mr. Dixon and staff kept me informed and he stayed late to finish the work so I could leave the next day. I'm so grateful. So very grateful. Dixson is the best!!!!! He is very personable, competent and professionally equipped; with proper tools, to complete the job on my BMW 650i 2006 Convertible. The completed diagnostic was done which facilitated the need to replaced the battery. He test drove my vehicle to further the evaluation which included the steering, suspension, brake pads and more. I was so impressed with his service I referred him to my friend. HE IS NOW MY MECHANIC !!!!!
Use this service!! He came out on Sunday to diagnose my 2007 Chevy Impala. My car was saying “Reduced Engine”, I’ve never experienced that before. I called him and he came out within 30 mins, if that. He’s extremely knowledgeable and you can tell good people just from the conversation we held. When you treat people well, you will definitely prosper. He isn’t trying to take your money unlike other mechanics. I had a wave relay issue, he told me how to fix the problem. 10 out of 10 ! MUST use again! My car was a PAIN! After several different “brand name” shops told me my car was making this weird “whoop” noise when driving ,because of several different parts that were “ old or needed to be replaced “ ( which was not the case) , Dixon came through the SAME DAY and informed me of exactly what was wrong within seconds . Remember, I mentioned my car was a PAIN , so this extensive process ( usual turn around time of 2 weeks or more) was completed in less than a week! They treated me like family, constantly sent text message updates , called to be sure i was ok with what he was doing, and even sent pictures of the work as it was being completed! They are the fastest, most reliable, and most caring people I’ve ever met in Atlanta! Dixon Mobile Mechanic will FOREVER have my business & should have yours too!

He is very good at what he does. Great at diagnosing. After going to many different shop in my area and being told several different thing for engine cutoff. Mr. Dixon came in diagnose the problem and repaired it. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Reasonable and affordable. He's my go to guy.
